I called Smart Plumbing the morning of 1/18/2021 left a message with the receptionist. Peter called me back within an hour and asked what was I experiencing. After listening, he responded I can help you with that. Peter gave me a window of 12-2pm and arrived 12:04. Peter want me to see him without a mask from the bottom of my front porch steps so I would know who was coming in my home. Presented me with a card and pen of his business. Peter then placed his mask and booties (shoe) on and entered my home. We talked through the events of my issue (timing, what I've done to try and restore, questioned if any other problems, and what exactly was I experiencing). He quickly started to share best practices with me on how to utilized my kitchen sink (disposal) to ensure it operates optimally. He explained what was causing my slow drain, had a more thorough look, and begin to talk me through what needed to take place. He gave the quote for repair and efficiently completed the work. No mess, no fuss, just good wholesome work. I would recommend Peter to help with your plumbing needs.

Peter has been to my home more than once to help with plumbing issues and he's great! After getting quotes elsewhere, he's the most reasonable and his work has not yielded any issues. First time he came out to research why my water bill had doubled in coming months with no extra water usage in home. He figured out there was a broken pipe between the house and the street. Fixed that and now there isn't even a sign on my lawn that it happened. And then today he came back and I had a honey to-do list for him. My kitchen faucets water pressure had diminished, my guest bathroom toilet was hard to flush, and my kids bathroom tub spout would release water when on shower mode. He was in and out in 30-40 min, fixed all issues and that was that. THANKS PETER!!

Peter was very friendly, professional and fast. I sent him an email late Friday night not expecting a reply but to my surprise he replied and stated he would be able to come out the next day between 12-2. He called when he was on his way and arrived at 1230. When he arrived he was already prepared with a mask and shoe covers without me even having to ask, which I greatly appreciated. It only took him 10 mins to fix my issue and his prices were extremely affordable. I will definitely call Peter again for any future plumbing issues I may encounter and would 100% recommend him to all my friends and family. Thank you Peter. You're the best!

Peter is hands down, THE BEST plumber you will find in the area. I called him to discuss fixing two leaking bathtub faucets in two separate bathrooms and he was able to come out the next morning to take care of my issue for a very reasonable price. I also mentioned to him that I had a water knock in the pipes and he told me that the regulator on my water line into the house was not the right size. He came back the next day and took care of that! Peter is courteous, prompt and efficient in his work and never once did he try to sell me on spending any more money than I needed to. In fact, I have two water heaters in my house that are roughly 14 years old (a couple years past their life expectancy). I discussed options with him and he told me to wait until they start to fail then I can replace them with a newer, more efficient system. Other plumbers and contractors have tried to talk me into getting them replaced now. I promise I will not use anyone other than Peter for my plumbing needs and I strongly urge you to do the same. He will save you a lot of hassle and money!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Professional, timely, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and easy to schedule with. As owner, he is directly accessible for questions and scheduling. Highly recommend. Here are more details: Peter is responsive by text, and also spoke with me directly beforehand, so I could run all our plumbing issues by him before scheduling. He was easy to schedule with, and let me know that he would most likely be able to quote AND actually complete the work, during the same visit. (Yay!) His prices were very fair (less than prior quotes we received from a big company), and unlike the larger company, he didn't try to oversell at all; he clearly explained which tasks were essential, which were good-to-do-but-not-essential, and which we could take care of ourselves, if we desired. For example, while the larger company (yes, one of those with an answering service and hundreds of online reviews) suggested replacing all our toilets, Peter confirmed what we had expected: that they had no major issues, they just needed parts replaced. During his visit, Peter helped us replace the main water valve/filter to improve the water flow and PSI for the entire house; he fixed leaky and loose outside water fixtures; hooked up the water for our fridge; and replaced a totally broken gasket on the base of one toilet. As we suspected, the prior owner had attempted a half-assed fix and covered up the leakage through the ceiling below just to make it look good for the sale. Peter sawed off the broken gasket and did a solid replacement so no further damage will occur, and he even let our kid watch and learn from the whole process. He assessed our water heater, and gave us great longer-term suggestions to manage all the plumbing aspects of our home to maximize efficiency and lifespan and avoid common issues. We learned a lot, and feel confident now that our newly-purchased property is in good shape, plumbing wise...and we know exactly what we need to service or replace when it comes time to sell. And when it does come time to prep this house for sale, we will definitely be calling him again!

We had an emergency (self-inflicted) late on a Monday night. We're new to the area, so it's nerve wracking to find help in your home without the benefit of a previous relationship or friends to ask. I sent the request for service to 5 plumbers on Yelp. Peter was the first to respond (@ 9 PM), and said he could be at our house 1st thing in the morning. He quickly diagnosed our problem, explained the issue, and made the repair. For a very reasonable price! It's nice to know we now have a plumber for future projects. I highly recommend Smart Plumbing.

After searching and looking at this business and seeing that they service my area according to the service area maps, I called and they told me they would not travel across a county line even though I am only 2-3 minutes across the county line. If they are this strict with their """"zoning"""", that ;leads me to believe they are not a business that goes out of their way to help people, and you better read the fine print on your contracts! They and Yelp should have the service area maps updated to reflect the area that they will bother themselves to travel to.

I consider myself lucky to have found a reliable, honest, and affordable neighborhood plumbing company. Peter has helped in a number of areas, including resolving water pressure issues and replacing my water heater. Peter always arrives on time, explains how things work, is up front with the costs of repairs, and provides honest advice and feedback. Also, he is very thorough in his work and resolves issues quickly. During the last visit, I was impressed with Peter's initiative to use proper PPE in the house and even in the garage.
