Called in the morning, scheduled 1:00-3:00pm arrival to fix a drain trap and cast iron pipe surgery in the garage. Jose arrived on time, did a quick check, quoted a price and was done in an hour. Very nice, efficient service.

Earlier this week, some of my drains started backing up. ""No big deal,"" I thought to myself, ""we just bought our house and we have a home warranty!"" Got in contact with my home warranty, they sent a plumber out who not only didn't fix our problem, but misdiagnosed our problem.

Our home warranty couldn't find a plumber with the proper equipment--so the put the onus on us to find our own, then get preapproval for an ""out of network"" provider. Unnnnnng. I started calling around for quotes. Not only was Michael, who answered my call extremely friendly and helpful, but he was able to get us a rough estimate for the services we thought we needed. He then insisted that he send a tech out to take a closer look at the problem and give a more accurate estimate.

Federico arrived at the beginning of the window I was told a tech would arrive. He quickly assessed the issue and recommended a different solution than the original plumber had recommended. He took the time to explain why he had a different opinion and the steps he would take to resolve our issue. He even talked to my home warranty specialist on the spot to ensure that I had instant approval for the out-of-network service.

Within 20 minutes my drains were clear and my issue resolved. But Federico took the time to push the rooter through two more times to really make sure that the issue was completely clear. He was able to invoice me on the spot and made sure that I received it in my email so I could file a claim with my home warranty.

The other thing that impressed me was the fact that I told Federico that the other plumber said that we didn't have a sewer clean out on the outside of the house. While he was cleaning up, he poked around the front of my house and instantly found it. It was literally one foot from where the other plumber said that if we had one, it would likely be. Having this knowledge will save us heartache (and money) in the future if we ever have an issue.

I know who I am calling first to fix any plumbing issues I have in the future!

Jose Salinas did an awesome job today when our plumbing backed up and then evolved into additional issues. Not unusual in an older home with older plumbing. Jose took his time. He was respectful of our personal space and our Sunday morning. He explained the issues. He took care of business and cleaned up the work space. And by the way, he arrived within 30 min of me calling in for help! Smart Plumbers have never let us down!

Top notch service from Smart Plumbers. My in-laws had a major back up due to old pipes (later we learned the problem is in front of the house) Patrick was sent out to make the assessment and later was assisted by Victor. Patrick and Victor were very professional. Patrick snaked and water jetted the pipes. Being an older home in Santa Clara the house has no clean out. Victor quoted to add a cleanout and a few days later performed the work with Jose. Victor ran a camera through the cleanout and found the main line was broken between the house and sidewalk. My in-laws are in their late seventies, Victor was very patient and professional with all of their questions and concerns. Not to mention all of the follow up questions from myself and my wife. In a few weeks Victor will come back to fix the main line. My mother-in-law has some obligations otherwise they would have come out sooner. Thanks again Smart Plumbers for the top notch service and we look forward to the next round to finish the work!

I used their service once back in May 2019. Since then, I keep receiving their promotion letters.
I called several times, asked to be taken off their mailing list. Every time I was told: I will let the owner know.
But the promotion letter keeps coming. It is very annoying that you keep receiving unwanted mail.
I don't know what else can I do to make this stop......

Was leaving for work this week and noticed a puddle of water coming from the main feed into the house. Needed to get resolved ASAP as had children home during the day time. Called Smart Plumbers and Milakaa was very understanding of the issue and was able to reroute Federico to the house and he was onsite in less than 10 minutes. Did a quick survey of the issue, discussed the options with me and started work immediately. Was able to get the issue resolved in a couple hours from the initial phone call. Both were professional and courteous and helped me out when in a jam. Will use again if I ever have any plumbing issues!

I am a Realtor and manage a number of client properties, as well as family owned rentals. I chose to call Smart Plmbg after seeing the great reviews they received. First service call was for replacement of a badly leaking faucet. Rafael was there the same afternoon, stayed until it was done and kept the tenants happy as well as me. Second call was for a clogged sewer line. Chris came out within a couple hours and took care of the problem. Both of these plumbers were very pleasant, knew what they were doing and priced the work very reasonably. Office staff very responsive and kept me up to date on who and when they would be arriving. Try these guys, I think you will be pleased

My water heater started leaking after 15 years and I knew it was time to replace it. I called Smart Plumbers after talking to Ernies plumbing to get another quote. SP came in $400 less than Ernies and did a great job. I worked with Milakka on the phone to setup the appointment. She was awesome and knew exactly what to do. Federico showed up a few hours later and started right in on my water heater replacement. He was friendly, honest and very skilled at his craft. I highly recommend Smart Plumbers over Ernies. Great job Milakka and Federico. You are both a huge asset to your company should never be taken for granted.

Called these guys to do some plumbing work for a water softener with a bypass. They were able to come the next day and start right away. There was a small leak but they were able to come the next day and re-solder the pipe! Great work guys!

I'm not a person likes to post review on Yelp. Unless it's very good or very bad. Unfortunately this time I had to give a negative feedback.

I used Plumbers from here twice. First of all, they're more expensive than the market price. Flushing the water heater tank costed $325 for a returning customer when I found out other plumbers asked only for $100.

The most important thing made me disappointed is after I left my honest review on their service in their customer feedback system, they called me to ask me to remove or change it.

Just from my personal experience, I don't recommend this place.
