I have used thsi company several times and we are happy each time! The customer service is fantastic and the quality of work is exceptional. We have been most pleased with Hyun Min. He is great! Do not use them. As a repeat customer the service or lack of service was unbelievable. They installed my replacement water heater two years ago, it suddenly stopped working. Made an appointmet with them to have it fix, the owner(Jin Lee) called me back twice to reschedule the appointment for a later time then called me back a third time to tell me his crew is busy and I should find another plumber, This was after I had waited 19 hours for Smart Plumbers to show up at my house. I told him it would be difficult to find another plumber at 3pm on a Friday, he basically told me that was not his problem. What a way to treat a repeat customer. He also told me it was normal for the water heater model he installed to have the lighter thermal couple replaced every two years. What a way to get repeat business every two years. I managed to contact another plumber Atlas Plumbing that send a crew over within 1 1/2 hours and took care of the problem with no charge. They relight the pilot light. They even spend the time to show me how to relight the pilot light and flush the heater which Smart Plumbers never bother to show me when they installed the water heater.

Not so smart or professional. I called to schedule appt and someone answered unprofessionally... I wasn't even sure I was calling a business number!! Why is it so hard to find good service :(

I can't believe all the 4 and 5 star reviews here...As another reviewer said, the best thing is they come very promptly. We had no choice but to use them to fix our water heater when it stopped working Thursday night before a long weekend. They got $85 Thurs night to light the pilot. At that time, the guy was trying to upsell all the time about replacing the whole unit and talking constantly without being clear that the thermocouple needed to be changed. I am no expert on water heater repairs and was relying on his advice. Next morning the water heater doesn't work again. I call them and they are home within 30 mins. Great...but wait, now the charge is $190 to replace the thermocouple. I ask them if I get a discount because I just paid $85 the night before. The guy gets rude and says they don't work for free. I tried calling around other companies but nobody could come in that weekend. I have a 2 yr old at home and could not go the whole weekend without hot water. So we asked Smart plumbers to come in on Saturday. Now, a new guy shows up who claims to be the water heater expert. He says the first guy gave me a wrong estimate and it is $250 to replace the thermocouple. Basically we paid them $335 to fix something that was probably $150 or less...I would be very cautious before calling them in for anything.

They may be OK, but Alex has been here twice in just over a week and we're still having problems. It's time to move on to another company to clean out our drain.

If you need a plumber, DO NOT call Smart Plumbers & Rooters!!!! One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Our plumber's name was ""Alex"". He was nice, but he will totally rip you off. He left the job incomplete, but asked to be paid and that he would come back to finish the job after he got the parts. We paid him alright, but never saw him again. He never came back to finish the job, but he remembered to cash the check the same day :(

I had a great experience with Smart Plumbers.

I was installing new faucets in the master bath when I noticed the angle stop beginning to leak. I called Smart Plumbers and Mike picked picked up the call and came to inspect. He installed a new angle stop that was better quality than the builder grade. Mike also inspected the work I did on the new faucets to make sure they were working properly and that any future leaks would not happen. This lead to Mike walking me through the house and giving me tips and tricks with plumbing that would help me in the future if an incident occurs.

All around, really courteous, fast and responsive. I can trust Smart Plumbers for any plumbing or rooting needs.

Absolutely wonderful. My wife and I moved into our first home and found numerous plumbing problems; including replacing the main water line into the house!

Mike was the plumber for all our needs. Very polite, funny, and professional. Price were given for entire job. No quotes with an estimated hourly rate. The price given is the price paid, no matter how long it takes him.

Example: quoted $1,300 for the water main (60' of copper line) and estimated 4 hours. Actually took him 8 hours but price didn't change. Other plumbers would have charged for the extra time!

I highly recommend Mike for all your plumbing needs.
