Federico Reyes repaired a toilet fill valve, and a leaking kitchen sink pipe. The kitchen sink problem required quite a bit of trouble-shooting to find the cause. Federico stuck with it until it was repaired properly. Really great service. I've used Smart Plumbers many times in the past, and have always been completely satisfied with their work. They give 2 hour appt windows, a text/call when they are on their way, and are always prompt. Their pricing is reasonable, given before any work is done, and the quality is excellent.

We have used Smart Plumber several times to fix our plumbing problems. Chris arrived on time and fixed our slow drain with ease. He was professional and knowledgeable. Smart Plumbers is our go to plumber. Highly recommended. They know what they're doing and they do it well.

We used smart plumbers and here are my observations with the plumber (Federico Reyes). Less to say it has been an amazing experience with Federico. These are the things I have witnessed and you can expect from him

5. Reliable in the quality of work and persistence to complete the work

All in all, I am happy with the work he has done. As part of this job, he fixed a couple of things for us, broken tub faucet, broken sink faucet, broken water dispenser for our reverse osmosis.

Water coming out to living room 9pm last night. Called Smart Plumbers (after turn water off), they sent someone to our house in 30min. Yohvany Resendiz was the plumber. He looks young (I was a little hesitant) but he is good and polite. He first made minimum holes on the ceiling to locate the leak, then came up to my bathroom to remove my toilet, unclogged (w a snake machine) and put in new toilet surface flex. He tried many times to make sure job was done good and clean up well after. Price was reasonable, I am willing for such emergency and they can come to save in a short time. We can turn water back on last night. I hope I don't need to call them again in such emergency, but job well done last night.

We used Smart Plumbers to replace an old water heater that suddenly sprang a leak. They did a wonderful job and were a highlight to a rather trying day.

We have used several plumbing services in the area and Smart Plumbers was by far the best. In particular, the price was reasonable, the quality of the work was high and I was impressed with their attention to detail. I felt that they were giving us honest appraisals of the work needed, and never felt like we were being sold unnecessary services.

I also want to call out our plumber, Yohvany, for his persistence and hard work and for his positive attitude. The job had a couple of setbacks that required him to stay longer. Without asking, he put in the extra work and remained cheerful. I also appreciated the advice he gave us about other plumbing issues in our house.

I have already recommend Smart Plumbers to others and will not hesitate to use them in future.

I recommend Smart Plumbers. They did not charge to come to my house and the plumber came the same day and gave me a reasonable estimate then and there without having to call in to the office. After deciding to go with them, Federico came out the next day and did a great job fixing my problem. Everything was done so efficiently and easily I had to sit down and write this review. I have never written a review about plumbers before, but had to share my good experience.

One of their technicians showed up for an old dead water heater at my 95 yr old mother in laws house. Speaking with my wife at the beginning, the manager told us he was sending one of his senior techs to do the job. We live 3 hrs away. They were instructed to correspond with us at every decision making point and not just my dementia suffering mother in law. I spoke to the tech, who drained it and proposed a solution not to replace it for over 2K. That was the first red flag I should not have ignored. I asked him how much to replace it and he said $1800. I asked him what brand water heater he'd put in and he said top of the line AO Smith. He told me he needed to replace the shut off valve as well. I asked him if that was included in the quote and he said yes. I told him to send me the estimate. When I received an estimate from him as requested it was for $2350...really? I told him no way and he said he'd do it for $1800 as originally quoted. After he completed the job I requested a picture sent. He had installed a Bradford-White water heater and did not change the shut off valve. Then when confronted he told me a Bradford-White was made by AO Smith....utter nonsense. I told him he lied to me and he said sorry. Later he told me if he installed an AO Smith, he'd have to charge me an additional $250 and he didn't want to replace the valve after all because the job can be a delicate operation. I was done talking to the installer so I spoke to his manager who said he'd talk to the owner and get back to me. The tech left the house. After waiting and never receiving a call from the manager that day or the next, a different tech showed up at my mother in laws home and tried to get her to pay for the unwanted, newly installed water heater. My wife happened to be on the phone with her mom when he arrived, and we were able to stop her mother from paying for the unauthorized water heater installation. Unbeknownst to us, they had reduced the bill by $200. This all transpired while my wife and I were still waiting to hear back from a manager to agree on the next step we were going to take. They evidently thought strong arming a 95 year old woman who can't think straight was the best way to solve the mess created by the installing technician. I had to insist he leave and have his manager call me.

The way this company handled their original tech's deception is despicable. I could not believe anything they told me after what had transpired, discovering lie after lie from beginning to end. They are like used car salesmen in my opinion. They caused the entire family an enormous amount of emotional stress, when only a water heater needed to be replaced.

We were still willing to try and work out a solution with them but never got a call from their manager again. My wife's family finally decided they did not want to do business with Smart Plumbers at all, and a tech came back the next day and removed the water heater after I spoke with someone at the main office to inform them we were going to have nothing more to do with their company.

I've done a lot of serious plumbing in my life and they ran into someone they could not BS. Home Depot is charging $1300 plus tax to put in a high end Rheem water heater today. What a relief.

Comment on Comment: We were waiting for your response, even into the next day when the different plumber showed up to my mother-in-law's house without any agreement before hand to bother her. I'm not saying anything negative regarding the second plumber or the dispatcher. I'm sorry they had to get in the middle of the mess. I specifically did not mention anyone's name. Offering a free water heater 15 minutes after I post an honest review here cannot make up for what happened. Why would we sell out or take the chance for more mess? Again we were still willing to work things out if you had followed up as promised. Not hearing from you changed my wife's family's desire to have anything to do with your company. They'd rather pay for a new installation from another company.

This review is for Christopher. He came to my house to fix my shower's slow drain. He charged me $550 for only 10 minutes work and told me there is no guarantee that what he did will help the slow drain issue. I would not recommend him to anyone ! Terrible terrible terrible

We have used Smart Plumbers and Rooters several times and have always been happy. This last time was no exception. We needed a toilet replacement quickly with no time to go shopping, guests about to descend, etc. Patrick really helped us, advising us on a few different toilets and which one would best serve our needs. The time save for us was huge. The install was great and the toilet has been too!

We had a major problem with a toilet, raining through the floor into a closet below. I called at 10:20 AM. Joel came and removed the toilet, showed me the problem and explained my options, then cut out the old flange and installed a new one and seal, replaced the toilet, tested the repair, and checked from below too. I have paid and he has left, and it is 1:00 PM. Two and a half hours from first call to me sitting and doing this review. What fantastic and skilled service!
