Company Overview
Superior Value, Superior Service
Established in 1996, Skyline Plumbing and Septic, Inc. has been providing services to the Paulding, Douglas, South and West Cobb communities and parts of Polk, Carroll, and Haralson Counties. We specialize in plumbing services, repairs, remodels, septic pumping, and drain field replacements. We strive to provide top-notch service at reasonable rates.
We launched Skyline Plumbing and Septic, Inc. in 1996. When we started, we focused on plumbing service, repairs, remodels, and some new builds. In 1998, we invested in our first septic pump truck to improve our service offerings. We no longer handle plumbing for new homes; instead, we concentrate on plumbing service, repair, remodel, septic pumping, and drain field replacements. We are dedicated to providing prompt, friendly service at fair prices.
Chris entered the plumbing industry in 1987 as a plumber's helper right after high school during the summer. Once he completed his Economics degree at the University of Georgia, Chris rejoined the plumbing field as a service manager for a Marietta, GA plumbing company. He learned the plumbing trade and essential business skills to successfully manage his own company. Chris currently holds a Class II Master Plumber license, a State of Georgia certification in septic pumping, drain field installation, and a Level 1A certification for soil and erosion control.

Skyline Plumbing pumped the tank and gave an inspection letter for a home I purchased. They pumped the tank 3/17/19 I moved in 4/20. Less than 3 months in the home with normal water usage I have sewage in my basement. I called Skyline they gave all the explanations too much water used (no), house empty too long (no), in the lines of course. They said if they came back out they would have to charge me. Then I was told the person that handled this transaction was not there and they bought Skyline. I had another company come out. They opened the tank the pipe going out old and broken. They tapped it, it crumbled to pieces. I was told no way they did not see this, no way an approved inspection letter should have been given. You advertise honesty, really. Do not trust this company for inspections. It was so much wrong at the tank area a sign that further inspection was needed. I am currently seeking legal assistance. It is so simple do the right thing first. The inspection was a complete lie.

I first used Skyline in the early 2000s to replace a water heater. They seemed honest and very professional. Since then I've used them 3 or 4 additional times and they've always been great. However I now have to find another plumber to look at my problem. Skyline won't come down to East Atlanta for some unknown reason, even for a long time customer.

I've been using Skyline Plumbing for 10 years and have never had anything but positive experiences. Prices are fair, service is reliable, friendly plumbers and office workers, and they're very thorough in making sure your plumbing issue is resolved. When they identify another costly issue which may cause problems down the line, such as a partial failure in a septic field, they don't turn the appointment into an aggressive sales job, rather just offering an honest assessment of where things currently stand and the problems which could arise without action. They may not advertise on every billboard and sports field in the community like some of their competitors but, to me, relying on word of mouth for business is something only a company confident in their product or service can pull off. I highly recommend Skyline.

We've been very happy with Skyline. The is our third time using them and find them to be timely, efficient and friendly. They pump our septic, clean the filter, inspect our pump and offer helpful information to keep our septic system running problem free. Daniel & Andrew were very professional and friendly and we highly recommend them!

This was a 1 star review turned good. So few times do people care enough to make things 100% right. I am giving a five star review, after being so mad at them, I was shaking. The owner stayed on the phone with me for almost 40 minutes, until I was happy and understood everything. I hope the tech never angers another customer. I mean they have to realize that almost every job they do is over 1000 dollars. That is a lot of money for anyone. So kudos to the owner. (never caught his name) Debbie is a saint, and she had answers to even the tech questions. The 3 man crew that came out and replaced my drainage field. They were just awesome. The state inspector was very impressed, and I was pleased with the grade they left on my back yard. So the draft I had saved here was a one star review. I was so mad, it was 3 days before I could call their office. They care so much, they turned my experience into a five star review. Thank you Skyline.

Skyline provided a very reasonable estimate to replace the cold water copper lines in my house. The home is a ranch on a full basement; the water lines were under the main floor and above a suspended ceiling. The work was completed in July, 2017. The copper lines were not removed causing multiple water leaks and damaged ceiling tiles. The crew left a significant mess. I called management and the crew returned to correct the issues. Well, I thought they corrected the issues. The pipes were not removed but capped. Well, some were capped. I spent several quality hours with my wife removing the pipe and several gallons of water, and of course a few ceiling tiles were damaged. The water in the exposed pipes was a significant factor in the mold issues that developed the last twelve months. The $1300 mold treatment well exceeded the installation savings. 99% of the time you get what you pay for; beware of the very reasonable estimate.

Called this company to fix a leak in a septic line and right off the bat without even coming out and knowing only that there's a leak wanted to replace all my septic lines saying """"they probably don't work."""" So typical.

The small job they did (which I later found out I didn't need) was fast and good but the job I called them for was quoted at $1600 + to not find the issue but redirect everything in my yard in order to usurp the issue. I instead called another plumber who FOUND and FIXED the leak under my garage floor for $500. And one of the guys was really condescending and argumentative. I won't ever be calling them again.

Came on time and handled repairs quickly. Very happy with their service. Technician showed me areas of trouble and kept me in the loop throughout the process. Process seemed Fair as well.

I needed the septic tank cleaned out on the rental house ASAP. I called 4 companies at or about 9 am. I had to leave voicemails or leave a message. 2 were full and 2 never called back. I called Skyline and they actually answered! They told me they would be out around lunch time and said they would call when on the way. And they did so. Within 15 mins of arriving they had the problem identified. Just a little clog. Never tried to talk me into anything else. I knew it had been a few years since cleaned out so I asked if they would go ahead and do that. They agreed since they were already there. I was even able to pay over the phone. Very accommodating and friendly. Will use them again in the future. Highly recommend them.
