Re-posting my review. Due to my inactivity on Yelp, so Yelp's software categorized my review as not recommended. I'm trying to give my honest review, but Yelp's software is treating my review as trash. Which is not fair for me and the business owner. I'll keep reposting my review until Yelp stops removing my review or de-activate my account.

Great experience with SJ Rooter & Plumbing. My hardwood floor boards raised near the sink and toilet was clogged. I was so scared and horrified, so I looked up plumbing services on Yelp and found good reviews for SJ Rooter & Plumbing.
This happened on a Wednesday night, and I called the phone number and Johnny picked up. Johnny is local plumber at San Jose with a lot of experience with plumbing.
Johnny came right away after we spoke on the phone. He arrived with skilled mind and expertly assessed the issues with the hardwood floor and toilet. Johnny suggested solutions how to fix it. Pricing was fair and reasonable. ComparHe was honest, professional, experienced, and has humor. Johnny is a multi-lingual. He can speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
Highly recommend Johnny for plumbing service. Definitely will call him again for plumbing problems.

Very reasonable price and he knows what he is up to. Johnny was here on very short notice. He knew right away what was wrong and fixed it very quickly. He is so humble and friendly and he also gave me a discount.

I contacted Johnny to fix the pull-plunger mechanism under our bathroom sink and he called me back within 10 minutes. He was available to come that afternoon and even arrived early. Once he saw how easy it would be to fix he said that there would be no charge. I insisted that he take something, at least a tip and he said just keep me in mind for next time. I am so impressed I feel like service like this is unheard of these days. Before I called Johnny I called Dempster plumbing twice (who we have used in the past) and they never even got back to me! Johnny is our new go to plumber and I hope you give him a try too.

Johnny was prompt, considerate of my house and very efficient! He fixed the wax ring in my toilet, rooted my plumbing, cleaned up an inadvertent spill, evaluated the plumbing under my house and was in and out in less than 2 hours. My bathroom was probably cleaner than before my plumbing problems started. His pricing was fair and quotes he provided for future work was also fair. I felt like he pointed out some issues but also reasonable in what was realistic and absolutely necessary. I would definitely call again.

AMAZING service! This past weekend we found a leak in our garage ceiling. Johnny came out that same day to help us and confirmed that our tub was leaking. He immediately fixed our problem and was very professional, kind and efficient. Johnny also helped us with a toilet issue in the past. His prices are very reasonable and his service is excellent. On top of that it is very apparent that Johnny is a kind, good human being. This matters to me when choosing a business. We will be calling him for all future plumbing issues! If you have a plumbing problem, Johnny is your guy!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!Our kitchen sink was clogged and we needed it fixed quickly.JOHNNY was able to come on the same day we called,and fixed the issue. The pilot light for our water heater went out and we could not turn it on. Sunday we called several places and left messages and Johnny from SJ Rooter & Plumbing messaged us right away on Yelp. We asked if he could come down and give us a quote for water heater installation. Johnny came out in an hour and inspected our water heater situation. We had major corrosion in the pipes as well. He was very friendly and honest and only charged us for the labor. He even went with my boyfriend to shop at Home Depot for the water heater. The whole process took about two hours. He answered all our questions throughout the entire process. Afterwards, Johnny went with my boyfriend to dump the old one. He was the best quote around, and I received quotes from two other places. We'll definitely recommend SJ Rooter & Plumbing.
