We requested quotes through Yelp from multiple businesses to unclog 2 sinks and a bathtub and replace a valve for the water heater. Johnny responded very quickly and was very easy to schedule with. He came to look at everything and provide a free quote. Once we were happy with the quote was very easy to schedule when we needed him. He was very friendly and courteous in our home to wear shoe covers, show us everything he was fixing, and remind us to lock our door when he was leaving. Overall would definitely choose SJ Rooter & Plumbing again.

Edit: Owner is correct, about his response time. The message did not get posted that evening for some reason but he was too busy to help me so
I moved on.

READ READ READ!!! Had issues with our drainage. Water would not drain from toilet or tub all of the sudden. Had issues with for a while but the water would drain over a period of time. Finally last night, it clogged up completely. Johnny came out the same day I called him. He used his camera and found a tube of calk in our line!!! Unbelievable. SJ and Rooter/Johnny did everything in his arsenal to extract that tube and unclogged my line. At such a great price and upmost professionalism.

This is the first time I used yelp.com to hire a plumber, and I have to say I am extremely pleased and thankful for all previous customers' reviews. I selected SJ Rooter & Plumbing as there were over 163 positive reviews. It isn't hard to find 20 to 50 people to create fake reviews, but getting 163 reviewers' is sort of hard. So, I texted Johnnny. He is definitely an honest and reliable plumber. He was on time and done an excellent job on locating and fixing the source of leak on one of the bathroom. I thought it was the shower pipe, and I was wrong. It was the toilet didn't install it well causing the leak. He was quick to find and fix the leak. I am very pleased and will definitely call him again if I need any plumbing fix.

if you want honest, then don't look any further. This is where you want to be. I highly recommend this business and will definitely stick with them in the future! It is so rare these days to find somebody who is not wanting to pad, nickel and dime or gouge. I picked this business because of the ratings on yelp. i'm glad I took the time to go over the reviews.

The pipe between the water main and my house was leaking. I had to turn the water off at the water main to stop the leak but that meant no water to the house. Johnny saved the day. He arrived 45 minutes earlier than expected. Johnny was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. He will be the first one I call the next time I need a plumber!

Had an issue with my kitchen sink pushing water up from the drain. After trying to deal with the issue myself to no avail, I finally gave in and tried to get quotes from Yelp. SJ was the first one to respond.

I gave SJ a call and explained what was happening and we scheduled a time for him to come out. It wasn't one of those 'I'll be there between so and and so time' that you'd get from your typical big-name plumbers, but a fixed time so I wouldn't have to wait around at home. On top of that, he gave me an up-front price on what it would cost to fix the issue.

Johnny arrived on time and listened to everything I was telling him: my issues, what I'd one, what was happening with my neighbor's plumbing, etc. He was patient and didn't try to rush out of there. Once he'd listened to everything that I had to say, he told me he was going to get working and take care of my issue.

Long story short, he did a great job in fixing the problem; showed me what was causing it in the first place and told me what I can do to prevent this issue in the future. he even showed me how to properly use a plumber snake that I'd purchased when I was trying to fix the issue myself.

I wouldn't hesitate to give Johnny a call the next time I have plumbing issues.
