This company and their employees are top notch. I have used them in the past and my experience is always a great one. Today, I had issues with a backup in my house with some old sewer pipes, and they quickly responded and diagnosed the issue. They did two extensive jobs for me. One was installing a hot water heater and replumbing some lines into the house. The other was trenching and running lines from our water tanks to our irrigation, and isolating and running a line to our cottage. There was about 40 years of deferred maintenance they had to deal with.

On time, strong communicators, honest pricing, good people. They also threw the ball for my dog, which he greatly appreciated.

I had major plumbing I saw a Simply Green Pluming truck on the highway and gave them a call. I spoke to Russell, one of the owners, on the phone. I made an appointment for Russell to come to my house and assess the situation. Russell walked me through all options and procedures. Russell took tons of pictures to show me and explain the problems with my system. After our visit I knew that I was in the best hands possible. His team came out did the job. I could not have been more appreciative. I knew exactly what they are going to do and the time and expense as well. Russell couldn't have explained the process any clearer. I have referred Simply Green Plumbing to everyone I know and passed on my experience. I will ONLY call Russell and his team in the furure.

I hired Russell and his crew to extend a natural gas line into a new patio and also do some outdoor and indoor water plumbing work. Out of all the contractors I interviewed, Russell was the most detailed and took took the time to explain every aspect of the install, the various options and reasons why he recommended different approaches, even before I hired him. He also recommended a few changes and additions to my initial request, but wasn't pushy. I ended up doing some but not all of the suggestions and I'm very happy with how everything turned out. There was a slight delay in completion, but even though there were some unforeseen complications, he stuck to the original price he quoted. I got cheaper bids for the same project, but Simply Green was not much more expensive, they seemed way more experienced at the type of plumbing they were doing, and did much more due diligence before making an estimate. I worked with four different contractors for different parts of the same larger project, and Russell was definitely the best out of all of them at communicating and educating me so I could make decisions about what exactly I wanted. Unlike some other crews I've worked with over the years, I got the sense that the whole crew was ""firing on all cylinders"" the whole day, every day they were out here. The work passed inspection without a hitch. I would definitely recommend Simply Green Plumbing.

Simply Green has done at lot of work for me at my San Jose home over the 8 years we've been here. They installed a water re-circulation line for faster hot water service around the perimeter of the underside of the house, they replumbed all of the inherited plumbing hacks from someone's uncle under my house since the 50s, they installed a new hot water heater and troubleshooted lack of water pressure from the street.

When the water heater had some issues 5 years later, Russell didn't just insist that I needed to buy a new one for several thousand dollars plus labor - they called around and worked with the manufacturer to fit the failed componentry into an existing warranty recall for the unit and even found me a contractor to do the warranty recall part install, at no cost to me! That repair is happening while I sit here writing this review and it's being fixed as we speak, not even two hours after I called Simply Green!

Not sure what happened in the years that have transpired, but Simply Green is now Simply Gouge. Absolutely insane pricing. Twice now we've had them out and what they've charged is well beyond highway robbery. I called two other plumbers after the fact this last time (LAST being the operative word) and asked for an estimate of the same work. Both indicated they would have charged less than half what Simply Green did.
Never calling them again.

We had a major water leak outside where the water comes in and in our shower. In these times of drought, you don't want to mess around with anything but the best service. Russell was able to bring his crew out (same day) and fix it fast. I realize some other reviewers felt that their prices are high but I believe that I got what I paid for. Russell gave us quite a bit of context around the problems we are having. Very professional and I like supporting a local business.
