Our regular HVAC company did not offer an 80-gallon hot water heater option, so we purchased a energy-efficient hybrid directly from Home Depot. I quickly realized that installing it was a bit out of my skill set, so I contacted Sila to inquire if they could do the job. 24 hours later, Steve Z. showed up (on time), removed the previous water heater, and installed the new unit without any hiccups. He was professional and courteous. I will certainly be calling Sila for related work in the future because of this initial experience.

I have to say, when it comes to service and even emergency service, Sila has been excellent. They are extremely responsive and have always come out the same day with any heating/cooling issues. Living in an old home with several renovations over the years can be challenging. Our basement is filled with heating pipes going every which way. Casey Gates from Sila was quick to identify why we were not getting any heat in the kitchen (it was from other renovation work that was not set up correctly), he ordered the parts right there and then returned to remedy the situation. He was sooo knowledgeable, competent, professional and also a really nice guy. He explained everything very clearly as well. That makes all the difference to me. I know big companies can lack in these areas or lose sight of having a more personal and trusting relationship with the customer and so far they have really been great to work with. It gives me peace of mind to know if I ever have an issue, they will be here.

Wish I had read the review more carefully before I hired Sila

Cancelled my appointment and offered me an appointment 3 weeks later for my annual service on my home oil heating system. Got a call 1 week before my scheduled appointment (an appointment that I made 4 weeks ago) that they were running behind with several other ""big"" jobs and would need to push my appointment out until 3 weeks later. I am a new customer, but apparently because my job isn't big enough I am not important to be a priority. Nice to know that this business only sees its customers as $$$$$. Seems they have a history of last minute cancellations now that I've delved into their reviews further. Having a company honor their commitment to me is very important

Update: Garrett from Sila, a General manager there, phoned me after I wrote an email complaining about the gas leak. He was courteous and concerned, and refunded the cost of the repair. I was pleasantly surprised by this.

Eli was out for my annual service today. He was super knowledgeable, professional and gave me some helpful advice to prolong the life of my boilers. Sila installed my high velocity system 13 years ago and it had been fantastic. The customer service team is tops. Corey has been constantly helpful over the years. As a realtor I refer this company often as the experts in old house a/c among other Hvac needs. Ralph and one of the techs just helped some of my clients diagnose an issue caused by another company and they are now on the track to an improved system with Sila. Thank you for providing consistent support and knowledge. Looking forward to having you install a mini split in my attic one of these day

We had a very positive experience with Sila installing a mini-split AC system in our 107-year-old house. The salesman (Bill) explained everything very thoroughly without being pushy.

The communication and customer service from the company was excellent. We got a call the day before to let us know that the installers might be a bit late due to a company staff meeting.
During the 2 days of installation, the guys (both named Matt) were super polite and pleasant, gave us frequent updates on the project status, & cleaned up well afterwards.

Sila confirmed a 15-point special on coupon for an eval of my central air and despite it being confirmed at time of request of service AND a confirmation from the scheduled attendant, ANOTHER ""person"" called and cancelled the appointment THE NIGHT BEFORE THE DAY OF SERVICE saying I was out of their service area. So, yeh, they are on the ball -- NOT. Skewed customer service, idiots at the helm. (Update -- they keep calling me to schedule service when they already told me I'm out of their service area -- LOL)
