Just had my leaking hot water heater replaced. I called Shoreway. They were extremely responsive and sent a plumber out who inspected and provided me with an estimate on the spot. Said they could do it that afternoon or the next morning. I chose next morning. They arrived when they said they would, covered all floors and stairs and proceeded to do an excellent job. My hot water heater is located in a small closet making removal and replacement difficult. The heater also supplies water for a hydronic heating system. No probem! I had them replace the main valve and hot water valve because they were 25 years old and not functioning properly. Took them about less than 5 hours to replace and clean up. Everything working properly. While I am not a professional, the welds all look excellent to me. All piping runs are neat and clean. The plumber obviously takes pride in his work. Best of all, based upon comparison with neighbors, price was fair. I will absolutely use them again.

For Seniors: I am a handicapped senior and live alone. Reggie, the owner and all his workers were knights in shining armor. Reggie came to my aid late one nite after two weeks without water. I called others but no one appeared. He is honest, truthful, compassionate, fair and goes the extra mile to assist seniors. Additionally, they do excellent work with beautiful finishes. He promised I would have water the next day and I did. They were complicated jobs with pipes inside bricks, installations and moving pipes inside walls but it was all done neatly with cleanup afterwards. I feel fortunate to have Shoreway Plumbing and Reggie available to me In the future.

I've never got service like this before in plumbing and 15 years! So fast so nice so honest for my restaurant I've gotten more than 20 plumbers in the last few years and by far this is the best plumbing I've ever gotten thank you so much to the entire team I really appreciate you guys and I look forward to working with you guys forever ! Tried to charge me $150 over the list price for a $450 replacement well pump. And then had the gaul to try to charge me for 3hrs of work at $482/hour!!! These guys are just trying to rip you off. NEVER USE THEM!!! Get an estimate somewhere else.

My water heater expansion tank burst a leak. I made an appointment for them to come out to my house near Half Moon Bay the next morning. 10 minutes before their tech was set to arrive, their dispatcher called me and said ""oh by the way, there will be a $250 trip charge ON TOP of any repair since you're outside of our service area."" I escalated up to their manager, Abraham, who wouldn't budge. I told him 1) they should have mentioned that when I made the appointment, and 2) the charge was ludicrously excessive for Redwood City to Half Moon Bay. I offered to pay $25-50 at most on top of the repair, and he refused.

I had Shoreway Plumbing upgrade all the pipes in my duplex to copper pipes. They did an excellent job. They also replaced my water heater.

As it is often the case with these things my old water heater gave in on a Saturday in December. While mentally preparing for a weekend of cold showers, I submitted request on Yelp. Shoreway Plumbing were quick to respond and offered the same day appointment for an estimate. They ended up replacing the water heater, and managed to get the job done by the end of the same Saturday! I'm very happy with the service.

Very reliable service, contacted them the night before and they showed up the next day! They were trying to figure out the buzzing sound when we turned on the shower, it was not an easy task to figure it out. They didn't charge me until the issue was fixed, showed their integrity and professionalism. Overall very satisfied!
