I met with Reggie and his associate to get an estimate for a sewage lateral repair. They were professional, honest, prompt, and clearly knew what they were talking about. They got a detailed estimate with diagnostics and detailed description of the work that would be done back to me within the same day. Reggie even called the city to confirm what part of the sewage system they would handle.

Update: Douglas and his crews finished the re-pipe work less than 2 days! They were fast and efficient. Good job, Douglas! They took another day to repair and put back all the sheetrocks - well done here! Reggie worked with me closely for the status and City inspection's schedule - another good job! I cannot thank Doug from Shoreway Plumbing enough. After two and a half months of 1 minute intermittent hot water on all showers at the house he was able to fix and improve my new Navian tankless water heater and expensive Dornbacht shower valves!!! He worked flat out for two days and solved a problem that others after several attempts could not. He is my new hero.

Somewhere around my water heater showed leaking, but I could not find it, so I contacted Shoreway Plumbing. They dispatched a person on the same day.

Wow - so I know nothing about water heaters and called Shoreway because it may be the only contractor open on weekends. Abraham F. was on dispatch was SUPER helpful and though the business was to close in 30 minutes, he carefully listened to my issues and offered great solutions - like connecting me to their sister company Bayshore. Gary arrived in the appointment window of time--a good start. For some unknown reason my water heater turned off on its own. Gary got it restarted in a few minutes and we're back in operation. He communicated some useful information that may be useful in the future. And it was nice they he did not charge me for the brief house call. This is the second time I've used Shoreway and have been pleased both times.

Great customer service, fast appointment and a true plumber who knew how to troubleshoot a problem. I couldn't get the hot water valve in my shower to turn off. I called a number of plumbers; everyone said they have to rip the tile out ...and only ""look"" at the problem for $1,000. I was referred to Shoreway Plumbing by another company and within two hours Douglas arrived. You couldn't find a nicer, soft spoken gentleman. He went to store for a part, returned and fixed the running faucet. It turns out the hot water valve washer was old. I'll definitely be calling Shoreway Plumbing again!

After a few days of will-it won't-it toilet flushes and shower drains, we hit a crisis point right around dinnertime last night. I called one of Yelp's best-rated in Redwood City, and while unable to fit me in, he referred me to Juan. He was out working a job, but took the time to hear my problem and get my info, and connected me with Shoreway dispatch. They assured me someone would be out shortly, and even called me to let me know when he was en route.

Frank was friendly and super-professional. He arrived in half an hour, and was giving our main line the augering of its life within 10 minutes. We have an offset in the pipe behind the cleanout (one-way, naturally), and weird access placement; it's hard to work with in the daytime much less at night, but he took care of everything singlehandedly with zero drama.

Although I hope I won't have to for a while, I'd feel great about calling Shoreway again.
