my wife doesn't like cold showers unfortunately she only had to take one. I reached out to Shoreway plumbing and they responded within 15 minutes. We were able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. They came out, showed up on time, replaced or old water heater and took away the old one. Great friendly, service and made my wife happy not having to take a second cold shower.

Pablo and his brother were amazing! Very professional, quick, and did a great job. Prices very reasonable and very transparent. Thanks guys! I will definitely use you again!!!

Abraham was very responsive to our initial inquiry, and the technician got the job done (replacing a water heater) right away. The whole process was done pain-free. Highly recommend it.

Overall, very reasonable price, transparent, professional and kind.
[Responsiveness: 4 star] 1hour. heir client rep took 1 hour to respond me, which I consider a 4-star: already very good.
The case: I requested to investigate a lawn irrigation system leak and a toilet leak and was charged $195 for irrigation leak, and $215 for changing the filler valve in a toilet.
[Dispatcher: 5 star]. It appears that they have also done a wonderful job dispatching the plumber. Because I have a business meeting scheduled after the time window I called in to request they narrow down the time window from 2h to 1h. The dispatcher did a wonderful job ensuring the plumber comes in at exactly start time of the time window, and also is aware I have a meeting after the service so they have time restriction. Super professional and effective in their internal communication, which I don't take it for granted.
Here is the part about their service. The plumber name is Pablo Lopez, and I give him 5 star.
[Professionalism 5 star]: The plumber show up right on time, knocked on the door, with a noteboard in his hand, with information he needed to conduct work. Obviously he and his company have done homework in my request. In addition, the plumber Pablo wears his N95 face mask and operational gloves carefully.
I first showed him where I suspected it leaked, and later invite him to the indoor area for another issue, he pause and put on a shoe cover without me even thinking about it.
The plumber show me what he charges, and help investigate in a much deeper detailed than another plumbing company's ""field supervisor"" has done when I requested a quote. And offered me only 4x less of the price the other company asked for. And he did a wonderful job with great care. I will upload my photos and videos soon. And thus I ask him to do another work for me, and he quoted me exactly the price listed on the company catelog, he was very professional.
The only minor nit is that the company Shoreway charges no discount for a 2nd and 3rd job if they happen in the same visit, which I don't think make much sense and could be improved. But overall, this is already very good. 5 star for no doubt

I had a minor drip from my bathroom faucet and couldn't figure out why. Shoreway Plumbing replied promptly offering a free consultation and said that they'd come with masks, gloves, and shoe covers. I appreciated how responsive and thorough they were, unlike some other companies I contacted. They were on time, addressed my issue carefully, and told me to contact them if the issue persisted.

We used Shoreway plumbing for 2 recent jobs and have been very pleased. Our story:
In February, our hot water heater suddenly started to leak just as we were about to go out of town on vacation. We were referred to Shoreway by our usual local plumbers who were all unavailable. Cesar came out the next morning and replaced the hot water heater - all went smoothly.
In April in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the diaphragm in the regulator for our PGE gas main failed. The PGE technician came out promptly and after replacing the regulator reported that we had a slow gas leak. He tested inside the house and found a leaking gas fireplace key valve. We had to give him a mask as he said that PGE had run out of masks for their technicians!
We called Shoreway Plumbing that afternoon, and the next morning Cesar came out and found 3 leaks! This included going under the house in the crawl space. He repaired the fireplace valve and also found leaks involving an old gas dryer valve as well as a corroded gas pipe running to a pool heater. He pressure tested after all the work to verify that the system was leak-free. In contrast to PGE, Cesar had his own mask and shoe covers.
All in all we were very happy with how prompt Shoreway was in responding to our requests, and the work was excellent.

I had an urgent need to get our water heater replaced. It stopped working on Saturday. We got a reference to Shoreway from Bradford & White website. I placed a request on their website and got a callback in 5 minutes. After discussing the details of the project, I was given a cost estimate and a promise to show up next day at 8:30am. Which they did. 2 hours later, job finished and we are happy to have hot water again. Thanks and could not have asked for better service. Two thumbs up.

Our tankless water heater went out Wednesday morning. Guy Plumbing recommended Shoreway. We called and learned a technician would be available 8:30 Thursday. Caesar showed up on time, did a diagnosis and said our 13 year old heater was history. He said he had a job across the Bay, but could come back and install a new heater that afternoon. True to his word, he showed up and installed the new heater so by 5 o'clock we once again had hot water. Everything delivered as promised. We are happy campers.

We've been trying to figure out why our downstairs toilet was not flushing correctly. They came out and tried the snake (simple) method and while the toilet did flush it was sluggish. So instead of saying it's ""kind of working"", Cesar took the whole toilet assembly apart and go the root of the problem. Literally. The Magnolia tree in front of our unit had burrowed into the sewer pipe and (like a scene from a horror movie) come into our bathroom pipe. It was gross but importantly very disturbing to see the root branch coming into our bathroom thru the pipe like that. Cesar took over 2 feet of the root branch and now the toilet is ""working as intended"" for now. We expect the roots to creep back in in a few years but we'll definitely call them again, then.

We're finishing up a plumbing project that includes a new tankless water heater and a water filtration system. I am really impressed with these folks--they took their time to do a great job in difficult conditions. Very personable and responsible. Would absolutely use them again. I found them because they were highly rated by the tankless water heater company and the warranty requires that the installer be certified on installing the equipment. If you read about tankless water heaters most of the problems are related to incorrect installation. Picture below of the installation in progress.
