We provide plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services for both residential and commercial properties with offices located in Traverse City and Petoskey. More than 45 years ago, Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling was founded in the founder's house in Traverse City with a couple of plumbers and the founder, and now boasts a workforce of over 85 at two locations.

Jerry grew up in the Hannah/Kingsley area and completed his education at St. Mary's School. His great-grandparents settled in Kingsley after immigrating from Germany. Jerry enlisted in the Air Force straight out of high school when the Vietnam War was starting. He was honorably discharged after four years and became an apprentice plumber in Massachusetts under the GI Bill. While there, he began a family and moved back to Traverse City in 1975. In 1977, he founded Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling.

Alongside his military service that guided him into plumbing, Jerry has the licenses needed to manage a business. His credentials include master plumber, plumbing contractor, mechanical contractor, and boiler licenses. After over 40 years of dedication and hard work, Jerry has built the thriving business that Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is today. As he looks to the future, Jerry is excited about semi-retirement to spend quality time with family at their cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
