I spoke to the representative at approximately 9 am and the would have been there by 9:30 but I wasn't home I did get home and Jared came out to fi the water heater Jared explained everything to me in detail w d bad the friendliest attitude every so thank you Shellback especially JARED you did great

5 stars because they saved me a ton of money.
Previous place I had called had tried to sell me a new toilet without even looking to see if there was anything stuck in there. Shellback came to the rescue and pulled out a toy my son had flushed down the toilet.
I have only one critique for shellback; punctuality. I got a text that the plumber was on his was about 1 hour and 30 minutes before he came. This was before my appointment time, too. So I raced home to meet him and he didn't show up until way later.
He was very nice and thorough so it made up for it. But hopefully, next time, they message a bit closer to actual arrival time.

Still giving them 5 stars because the service was awesome!

I will call them again when I need help. We have a intermittent problem and Shellback came and offered us advise to trace it out all as part of the initial service charge. They suggested that we try this easy stuff I could do on my own before investing in a more intensive and expensive troubleshooting process. I really appreciate them watching out for my budget and the integrity shown has gone a long way to establishing a trusting relationship when and if a more serious situation arises. Relieved to know that I have someone trustworthy I can call for my plumbing problems.

We had a main line stoppage and needed help quickly. Our home warranty company set us up with a plumber who couldn't come out for 2 days. I called Shellback at almost 4:30 pm on a Friday. The guy I spoke to was very nice and had someone out less than 30 minutes later. Edgar came and he was great l. He was able to clear the blockage as well as use the camera to find a root that was blocking our pipe. He was very friendly and let us know our options to fix our issue. He made a call to one of his coworkers and set us up the following morning to have our line jetted and use a chemical to kill to remove the root. Joseph came out and he was great as well. If we ever any plumbing issues we will be using them for sure.

A few months ago Joseph came by and installed a garbage disposal.

Recently Danny came by and fixed my water heater. Yes, fixed... not selling a new unit like other quotes I got.

No one at Shellback Plumbing tried to sell me a new unit or make me feel bad for not knowing basic plumbing stuff.

This place gives you a free estimate, you are not trapped. Most other plumbers don't come out when they say they will and then charge a fee, then your stuck as they upsell new parts. Not This company. These guys are true professionals.

Danny and Joseph can come clean my pipes any time (if you know what I mean)

My one star rating is not based on their work but their customer service. I had someone come out on Saturday to take a look at putting in new faucets in two sinks in the bathroom and a new faucet combo in the shower. He told me he would send the estimate to my landlord by the end of the day. I had not heard from him so Monday afternoon I called and talk to somebody he said they would return my phone call as soon as they talked to the plumber. No response. I called again on Wednesday to see if I could get them to respond to me. I talk to a woman who promised for sure she would call me back today after I told her it already not gotten a call back and this has been waiting since Saturday. Again she did not call back. I did send them a message via their website explaining I would be giving them a yelp review for not following through with me. I am gonna move forward with another company. This is upsetting because I still have to wait for my shower and sinks to be fixed. Terrible

***RESOLUTION***
Shellback plumbing did get back to me this morning as well as answering this review, I appreciate their honesty and apology so I will be moving forward with them and having them do the work. The 15% off is also a nice touch and I will change my review as soon as the work is done. It's nice to see business business that will turn things around!

This company is awesome! It starts when you call their office; they answer the phone with a real person, and schedule an appointment right off the bat. I had a leak under my sink, phoned at 2:30 pm, and scheduled an appointment for the next morning within a 2-hour window. Even better, Danny showed up just before 5 pm that same day after the office called to say they had an opening.

Danny diagnosed the problem, and fixed it right away. He was courteous and professional. Excellent service.

I will definitely use Shellback again, and recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber. Thank you!

Outstanding Professional service, Plumber was promised at between 8-10 am, he showed up at exactly 8 on the spot, I showed him the kitchen clean-out location for my drain clog that was located somewhere between the house and the sewer in the street.

He came in and snaked out the clog quickly and had everything closed up within about 30 minutes, the paperwork was all on an Ipad and I knew the cost before he showed up, detailed billing was sent to my email.

These are the people to call for ANY plumbing problem, they are the Gold Standard!!

They were prompt and they got the job done fast. I was also impressed that they were able to do the job on the same day that I called, initially, the price was higher than expected at $195 but Gary, the owner, reduced the price as an exercise of good customer service.

As shown in Gary's response to my review, they try to do right by their customers. I'm very impressed when any business does that!
