I was lucky enough to be referred to Severson Plumbing by a friend when she heard I needed a new icemaker line in my new condo due to improper installation by the previous owner. I had already gotten estimates from two different plumbers through my insurance and home warranty companies, but felt in my gut like they were making the job way more complicated and expensive than it needed to be. My friend said she used to work for Severson and could personally vouch for their integrity and service.

Sure enough, they sent someone out the same day I called. Mike thoroughly assessed the job and, just as I suspected, said it was a pretty easy fix. He gave me a quote that was very reasonable, and we sealed the deal on a handshake. I asked if he could also install a new faucet while he was here, to replace the cheap one put in by the previous owner and he quoted a fair price for that, as well.

Mike was back today as promised, told me the work went even faster than expected, and ACTUALLY CHARGED ME LESS THAN QUOTED for the job!!! When did you ever hear of a plumber doing that? Needless to say, I will be referring all my friends who are looking for an HONEST plumber to Severson. Wonderful experience doing business with them!

We are very particular with our plumbing needs due to a bad experience many years ago. Based on that we started using a very reputable corporate plumber in RSM but wanted to try a smaller more personal company. We used Severson about a year ago with good results so we had them come back out to change dishwasher drain line issues plus other repairs. Bruce was very thorough, knowledgeable & honest and they even brought a female apprentice probably because I told them my college age daughter would be home alone (husband ended up being there). He advised the lines were not clogged but we had him replace anyways because our dishwasher has had such issues (2 in 2 years). We called them back out a month later due to air gap overflowing. They promptly came the next day even though it was Saturday and Lucas spent over an hour trying to help troubleshoot the problem. Lucas was extremely respectful, knowledgeable and determined to help us resolve the issue which it appears to be a poorly designed garbage disposal. What amazed us is the owner advised Lucas to waive any charges for that service call. Our experience has been nothing but positive thus far and we feel this company has the right combination of expertise and integrity. I can't speak on pricing but we learned our bad experience years ago when it comes to plumbing issues - trust and expertise are more important than a lower price.

After interviewing several contractors to re-pipe our house, we had our doubts because they all were very fast talkers and wanted a signed deal on the spot. Jerry Iske from Severson made all the difference. A straight forward guy, who didn't even bring a contract with him on our initial interview. He wanted to talk about the product and the project.
Needless to say we hired Severson for our Pex re-pipe project and have no regrets whatsoever. Jerry brought his crew in ON TIME!! and they were like a finely orchestrated dance the way they went about the project. They are so good as a team that our water was off for a total of only 4 hours!! The plumbing aspect was completely satisfactory, but I held back one star for the exterior stucco work not being a good quality match with the texture. It was in an area on the side of the house that's not regularly open to view, so it wasn't the end of the world for me. However, to be fair, the same guy did the interior patchwork and it was seamless and perfect!
Good quality work by a knowledgeable team, and exactly like the project proposal stated. Jerry even accommodated few small extras for us at no additional cost. We're very very satisfied.

We had such a great experience with Severson plumbing. Jerry did our initial quote and was very knowledgeable and educated me on the whole process. He was also very friendly. He was present during a lot of our re-pipe, which I liked (many people give the quote and then you never see them again - a whole different team does the work). Severson was pretty much on time and finished the job in four days. They kept the mess to a minimum. My only complaint is that when they patched the walls, the texture did not match our walls very well. Thankfully most of the places are not super obvious locations. (Bonus: They were also our cheapest of three quotes .)

Very very disappointed with this company. I was referred by a friend so I thought that this might be my ""go to"" plumber. I was so wrong. I had Bruce out to my house to fix my bathtub faucet and change out my toilet flappers. I also need work done in my master bath (faucets/shower fixtures). Bruce told me that since we have Valley fixtures and they do not carry the parts on their trucks, I would need to go to Ace Hardware for the parts. He assured me that they were available there. I went to Ace and was told that they do not carry Valley parts. I then went to Home Depot and the plumbing expert told me the same thing but also told me that there is more involved then just the little ""widget"" (I had a photo) that Bruce told me to get. I tried to call Severson but they were closed for the day. I had to send an email to cancel my appointment scheduled for the following Monday since I could reach anyone by phone. When I called on Monday to ask to speak to Bruce (I spoke with Susan) to see what I should get or if I just need to replace the fixtures, I was told that he was too busy to get on the phone or call me back but she would relay the message(s). I told her that since Bruce was at my house, and he is the plumber and knows what I need done, I would prefer to talk to him as I need specific answers to specific questions. She implied that he doesn't call back but he will buy the part(s) (I told her to tell him NO, DO NOT BUY THEM unless I can talk to him first) and she said Ok and then said he told her to tell me that when I'm ready, he charges $650. I was furious. I then sent an email dated (7/28/15) and told her to share my email and concerns with the owner, because now instead of them getting the rest of my business (roughly $1200) I will now go elsewhere. I've not heard from them since my email so I guess they just don't need the business. I understand companies are busy, but Bruce and Severson Plumbing made no effort to keep a NEW customer! I will never refer them to any of my friends or family. Bad move Bruce!

Can't believe I'm raving about plumbers but these guys are worth it! They are professional. ..fast...do quality work and take the time to explain everything. Questions are welcomed with these guys. The best part is that they always think about the customer and work with you to do the best work for the best price. I've had them here a few times and once I asked for a complete replacement of a shower and they advised which parts I really had to replace and i spent much less and got exactly what I wanted. They also always seem happy to work there and you can tell these guys are proud of what they do. Very trustworthy. Now if only I could find this in the other trades I need....bottom line can't go wrong with these guys.

Have had Dan out twice...in both instances he was on time and knocked out the necessary repairs with no nonsense, no attempted up sells, no issues. Did a Toilet install and moved a gas line for a new drop in range. Can't ask for more!
