Eddie Toledo came out to address an ongoing water leak. The man was an extreme professional. You can tell when someone knows what they're doing and he certainly did! In addition, he was pleasant, thorough and cleaned up after himself. A great representation of a company that I would hire to come back. Thanks for the great work Eddie!

My water heater went out on one of the coldest days of the year. I'm in a 3rd story condo and servicing and replacing the water heater is a pain. Severson plumbing was recommended by my HOA. I called and they came out the same day and worked around my work schedule. They informed me that my water heater was under warranty and the price was really reasonable to repair (to be clear they did not install the water heater originally). They replaced a part and the water heater was working fine. But it turned out there was a small gas leak. So they came back out and replaced another component the next day. The water heater was working again perfectly. Again there was a small gas leak. They came out the same day at no charge and trouble shooted it and it now works great and has no leaks. 3rd times and charm and they earned my 5 star review the hard way...by standing behind their work.

I really wanted to give a better review but the end result cost me. They can't drywall. I was doing a home renovation and my contractor recommend Severson. There were a lot of little things that bothered me but, overall, the re-pipe was complete and good. The problem came with the drywall patching. The renovation was all but done but when the kitchen and family room ceiling was painted, the massive patch areas from the drywall repair looked TERRIBLE. Even the Severson drywall guy said he was embarrassed by how bad it was. Now, after getting my house back, we had to cover the whole kitchen and family room in plastic so they could re-skin the entire ceiling. They did a terrible job covering everything, and my painters had to clean up all the overspray when they re-painted. We had to repaint the ceiling again - because of the poor drywall work - and Severson refused to reimburse me for having to paint the ceiling (a second time). $1800. Severson said they already went above and beyond by fixing the problem - really? They created the problem. I have a contractor and paint company all agreeing this should be paid by Severson. Now they are writing statements so I can file a claim with small claims court. It's a shame.

Disappointed

On 8/15/23, my neighbor came to my door with a technician from Severson because she was experiencing a leak in her garage ceiling that was coming from my unit above. The technician came to the conclusion that the leak was coming from a flange in the guest bathroom that needed to be replaced. I had the flange replaced that night at a cost of $325.

A week later, my neighbor texted me saying that the leak had returned. Another Severson technician came out and said they needed to do a leak search, but that the walls had to be tested for asbestos before they could cut into the walls to do the search. When I asked them about why the toilet flange I had replaced didn't fix the problem, they claimed that this was a new leak, and not the same leak from the week before. Upon listening to my voice messages, a representative from Severson had left me a message saying that my neighbor called them and ""was having the leak again."" Seems odd that a different leak would show up in the exact same place within one week. Own your mistakes.

Severson did not fix my leak problem, and I paid them $325 for unnecessary work. After having another contractor come in to assess the situation, they were able to determine that the source of the leak was coming from a totally different bathroom. Severson wasn't even close.

I do not recommend Severson Plumbing.
