Had Evan and Carmen come out and repair our sewer line. It was being crushed by a shoddy foundation repair inside our house that a different company had done a few years back. Evan and Carmen were very professional and took great care to protect our house and cleaned up everything when done. I had three different people use a camera on the line and Evan was the one who nailed it correctly where the problem was. I felt we cost a fair price and would happily recommend them.

So just about a year after I wrote to sing the praises of Severson after my mom had her home repiped, the almost inevitable happened. Exactly. Our own slab leak erupted. Of course we called the pros at Severson who arrived within minutes, detected the leak and explained the options. We were able to deal with the damage for less than our deductible and decided to eliminate any future trauma and go for a whole-house repipe. Again the crew was prompt, professional, neat and polite. They seemed to enjoy working with one another even though it was incredibly hot during the process. They all kept a sense of humor throughout. Even the guys working in the attic! The patch-up crew were just as efficient and friendly. The whole process is a bit to go through, but we're breathing much easier now with our 25-year warranty!! Now when I see a plumber's truck in the area I have a sense of relief rather than dread. Our insurance company will give us a discount now too!

STAY CLEAR & FAR AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY-ESPECIALLY THE OWNER WHO COVERED UP WHAT HIS EMPLOYEE DID. This Company was dispatched by me on September 23rd, 2017 for a leak at a 2nd floor condo that I own in Capistrano Beach. Its the plumbing company that we as HomeOwners are directed to use per our Association. I was assessed a $543 Bill that they pinned on me after finding NO present leak & falsifying the invoice report stating that my sink overflowed & my sink was not draining properly....I drove at midnite to my condo on that evening to meet the plumber & open the door to my unit for him, because my tenant was out of town for 4days. It took ""Michael"" the plumber over an hour to arrive & as he started to assess the leak he could not track the source. There was NO Overflowing Sink as he mentioned & I video recorded all conversation & actions thruought the entire time he was there. He was a bit clumsy from the start, then went to the dwnstairs unit cut out drywall & came back up to my unit & did the same. He stated he could not find the leak, I then asked him to get a moisture meter & he went out to his truck & told me that there's moisture in my ceiling & in other areas. Then after spending an hour and 20min at my unit, he went to the dwnstairs & the upstairs unit above mine. After an hour or so, he said he couldn't find anything & then stated that they would prolly send another plumber out the following day. No plumber called or showed up the following day nor did I receive a phone call. Then I received a letter from my association stating that my unit was the cause of the leak because my sink was overflowing & not draining properly. AN ABSOLUTE & COMPLETE LIE. The plumber falsified the diagnosis completely rather than stating no leak present, cannot locate. I phoned Severson Plumbing on 10-17-17 & spoke with Kurt-The Owner, and he argued with me, took no responsibility in accepting & apologizing for the inconsistent & false accusation on the invoice or even try to rectify or resolve, but rather advised me that the bill was paid already & to talk to my association. I told him that this was not right & they are going by the plumbers report that was submitted by his company to assess the charges back to me. I asked him what the total was of the invoice & he wouldn't tell me, stating that he couldn't tell me & hung up on me. I then called back again & he hung up on me again & then tried for a 3rd time & the front desk girl-Amber said don't call back again we already called the association. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism of the owner for how he handled the phone call & ignored the situation just because the invoice was already paid in full & the falsifying of information on his employees end; not to mention the outrageous cost of the Invoice of $543 for just a diagnosis!!!

Mike with Severson Plumbing has been an amazing get-the-job-done plumber! With the faucets he was trying to install, he encountered several challenges in the installation. Each time, he came directly to me with the information about what was not working, showed me why, and then offered trouble-shooting ideas. This is the type of dedication and work ethic that I think, unfortunately, we are not used to receiving anymore in many industries. After the installation issues with some of the faucets I'd selected, Mike still persisted in doing what he could for the first service call & was able to install 2 other faucets beautifully. Mike came out a second time and again was thorough, informative, and both conscientious & considerate about clean-up when his work was done. I had heard about Severson through some colleagues who raved about their experience with the company and I'm happy to now continue the recommendations here on Yelp.
