Recommended Customer Reviews

Used this plumber for re-seating a toilet once, the worker was very good. Because of this good experience, I called him for another extremely slow draining sink in the bathroom 3 or so years later This time it was a different crew and they took a long time, but seemed to relieve it, but it was not easy and they had a LOT of trouble with it. When I had AHS warranty they used to send plumbers for clearing clogs, and none were this hard. In fact the owner also had to come. [He also told me we needed to replace the tub at the time because it was ""too old"" That tub is still there and is just fine, btw]!
Anyway, just two days later the sink started to be extremely slow again and I called back Seumas. He never came back after telling me he would. I tried to reach him twice, but he did not care. That sink was not used too much, and stayed that way for for 3 years more until we wanted to replace the vanity. Got my hands dirty and I found out that the problem was very deep and the whole line was stuffed with sediment from a Brass-GI connection to the Wye inside the wall. I expected a plumber to detect and tell me that was the problem. A white-collar, light handy owner like myself could find the problem and he could not? All he had to do was look under the sink carefully. Especially since it was not an easy clog, I am surprised it did not occur to him they may be something deeper.
-1 star for this.
I will not even talk of the very small bathtub problem that I fixed myself and has been just fine for 4 years now. 0 stars, but will not count since no job done, it is also graceful!
So Seumas is a no go for me. 1. Could not find the problem. 2. Never came back to look. 3. Suggested a $2500 replacement job for something I spent $25 to fix good.
The two stars are due to the excellent first toilet reseat job, that was 5. Average of 5 and -1 is 2.
This is only personal experience. Your experience will vary, he may just be fine for you and I do wish the company well. But I will not use their services.

We had a broken water pipe in the house. These guys were great. They showed up on time, explained everything very well and fixed it solidly. They also did as little damage to the house as possible and cleaned up everything after they finished the job. Very Professional!
AAAAA+++++ I highly recommend David and his team of pros.

Had a hot water line break at the slab
I called on SUNDAY , and someone picked up!
They came next day at the scheduled time and handled it like a champ!!!!!
At one point I had 3 plumbers in my house getting it done!
They did a fantastic job, were very experienced and were priced fair
I own a pool service and repair company and these guys went above and beyond .
He even re -light my water heater for my tenant without me even asking. It's the little details like that I appreciate.
There is no other plumbing company out there for me now.
If you have something negative too say about them then your probably a unhappy person and no one will make you happy .

Great Plumbers! We've used them for years. Very knowledgeable, great customer care and they have come numerous occasions on the same day.

Very professional and quality driven services.
I was ""dropped on my head"" by another plumber that left a shower renovation half done and walked away from the job (from a well known plumbing company).
Luckily I was referred to Seumas. I'm so impressed with Dave, Omar, and the rest of the team that I will use them for all properties that I maintain.
Big or little job, they are courteous, professional, and precise with their workmanship.
I can't say enough good things about these guys. A+

I have used Seumas Plumbing for a long time. As always they did a professional job when Omar and Dave showed up to replace angle stops in the bathroom. They were really busy for a Monday. They fit me in when I told them I was remodeling a bathroom and the tile guys would be working Tuesday when they were free. I have used them for kitchen sinks, drain problems, and pipe repair. They are honest and reliable.

We have used Seumas plumbing sevral times over the last year and a half. They always showed up on time, were very courteous and professional. They fixed everything correct each time and were a pleasure to deal. The prices were very reasonable and we will use them in future any time we have a problem. Russ S. 9/25/2017

Friendly, gave us a 10am to 12pm window and showed up at 10:30, provided an invoice/statement of work, reasonable price. $175 to repair a leaking pipe (replace a portion of the pipe) on a Saturday works for me.

First review on yelp, but Simi Valley residents should be aware of my experience. Seumas came highly recommended from a friend...I have since advised him to not do that anymore. Simple kitchen sink clog turned into a $500.00 garbage disposal installation (had never leaked before), $180.00 kitchen faucet replacement (also never leaked before, and I purchased the faucet), than an additional $65.00 pipe replacement! Now if a lived in an older house this could make some sense, but a relativity new condo complex. This occurred over 3 visits, each requiring ""additional"" work. And the quotes kept changing and were not consistent, or based on any logic I could figure out, like labor costs, parts cost, etc. Each time I was ""encouraged"" to take care of each new ""problem"". Could this have anything with me being the single female owner of the house...it's certainly how I felt. This experience has taught me a lot, one is never to use this company, do my research and get better quantifiable quotes before hand. I would recommend this company to know one!

I absolutely love this company. It's a family owned business and they are so fair on their pricing and they really know everything there is to know about plumbing. They are professionals and do everything they say they're going to do and in a timely manner. I am sad to have read the negative reviews and hard to believe there are any as I have done business with them for years and have never ever been anything less than 100% satisfied. As far as the comment from Mike W. in regards to Brian not being overly friendly. Some people just don't burst out with out going personalities but he is very smart and very kind just very quiet. If you dealt with someone elses s*** all day 6 days a week I don't think you'd be singing zip-a-dee-doo-dah all day long either. :-)
