Friendly, gave us a 10am to 12pm window and showed up at 10:30, provided an invoice/statement of work, reasonable price. $175 to repair a leaking pipe (replace a portion of the pipe) on a Saturday works for me.

First review on yelp, but Simi Valley residents should be aware of my experience. Seumas came highly recommended from a friend...I have since advised him to not do that anymore. Simple kitchen sink clog turned into a $500.00 garbage disposal installation (had never leaked before), $180.00 kitchen faucet replacement (also never leaked before, and I purchased the faucet), than an additional $65.00 pipe replacement! Now if a lived in an older house this could make some sense, but a relativity new condo complex. This occurred over 3 visits, each requiring ""additional"" work. And the quotes kept changing and were not consistent, or based on any logic I could figure out, like labor costs, parts cost, etc. Each time I was ""encouraged"" to take care of each new ""problem"". Could this have anything with me being the single female owner of the house...it's certainly how I felt. This experience has taught me a lot, one is never to use this company, do my research and get better quantifiable quotes before hand. I would recommend this company to know one!

I absolutely love this company. It's a family owned business and they are so fair on their pricing and they really know everything there is to know about plumbing. They are professionals and do everything they say they're going to do and in a timely manner. I am sad to have read the negative reviews and hard to believe there are any as I have done business with them for years and have never ever been anything less than 100% satisfied. As far as the comment from Mike W. in regards to Brian not being overly friendly. Some people just don't burst out with out going personalities but he is very smart and very kind just very quiet. If you dealt with someone elses s*** all day 6 days a week I don't think you'd be singing zip-a-dee-doo-dah all day long either. :-)

Called to make an appointment for 1 pm. I work and let the gentleman know that I would take my lunch and be there at 1 to go over my problems.
Got a call at 9:30 am from my daughter who said plumber had arrived and told her the appointment was at 10 am. I asked to talk to the plumber and he stated that he could come back at 1 pm---no problem. I arrived home for lunch at 12:55 and waited until 1:20---no plumber and no call. Would not recommend company---cannot follow through with commitment.

Came out Christmas Eve and installed a new kitchen faucet. Professional service, competitively priced and did the job right.
No hesitation in recommending Seumas Plumbing.

After our record rain last week, I found my yard drain was not working and there was flooding. I tried to clear it myself with no luck. I called Seumas as I have used them on several other occasions and was very pleased with their work. I was surprised they were able to come out that same day. They couldn't clear it with the snake and had to dig up some of my yard. The problem was found. Surprise - my landscaper (Swinks) failed to continue the drain pipe under the side walk and through the curb hole! David & his crew installed the missing section and cleared the line. My only concern was that the invoice wasn't detailed (as to labor, hours and parts).

I have been dealing with Seumas for over 20 years, first living with my parents and now as a home owner. I have nothing but GOOD things to say about them. They are professional and fast. David, is amazing! He is pleasant and is willing to work with you. I am saddened to see negative reviews here. I have had a water and a gas leak just this year and they fixed both. I highly recommend Seumas to everyone!

I contacted Seumas to assist with replacement of a sprinkler valve and to fix a leaky sprinkler riser. The booking process was cordial and efficient... this is where my happiness with this company began and ended.
Brian showed up on-time. He wasn't overly friendly, and seemed that working for me was probably the last thing he wanted to do. He installed the sprinkler valve I provided and fixed the leak on a sprinkler riser. He said at the end of the job he'd be by later in the day to check for leaks and restore water service to my sprinkler system, that never happened. I never got a return visit or call. I didn't really care as it seems the work he did was sound when I checked later in the afternoon.
Weeks later I come to realize that part of my sprinkler system is no longer functioning. I took it upon myself to troubleshoot the issue since this zone was working fine before Seumas's visit. Turns out that Brian, while digging to fix the sprinkler riser, cut through the buried sprinkler electrical wire. I'm sure he noticed this and never told me, as it was painfully easy for me to find myself. Sloppy work, and complete shadiness in my opinion. Get the check, never inform the customer of errors you created and go on your merry way. Way to foment repeat business!
I will never be calling them again, even though they are my neighbors and live less than 1/8 mile from me. Unfortunate as I really wanted to support a very local business.

Came to replace a shower faucet and valve. The guys were friendly, careful and did a nice job. They completed the work in a timely fashion, took my check and cashed it. The workers didn't leave an invoice when they left and, in spite of several contacts and promises from the owners to send one, I have yet to receive one weeks later. In spite of everything else, this is strange behavior and an action of this type gives me pause. Standard practice is to provide receipt of payment along with a list of services provided so there can be no dispute and can be presented to a subsequent inhabitant as proof of maintenance. The fact that this company won't provide me with one seems shady and I wouldn't trust them to be inside of my home again.

Called Seumas Plumbing last night due to a slab leak, they came out when they said they would and did a clean neat job. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. Dave was very friendly and clearly cared about customer service. I will call them again and refer them to my clients.
