I was contacted by the General Manager of the Service Experts location I had problems with within hours of posting my original review. He was very kind and made it his priority to resolve all of the concerns I had expressed online, and wanted to hear the full story on the phone. He took the time to listen to me, and wanted to understand exactly what led me to write the things I did, and without trying to intimidate me or make me feel bad, asked what he could do to make things right. We have settled on a path forward that will satisfy everyone, and he has assured me that the woman in his employ that threatened me with criminal action will never do that to another customer again.

This the third time in a year that we have had to call these people out for a frozen up A-coil and low phreon (?sp). Let's hope between these people and the company that actually instead all three unit, we won't have any more problems for a long time. The technicians were very professional and efficent.

Beware of the upsell and bad service! I gave in to their incessant sales calls for a $60 """"maintenance"""" and let them in to my home. I have 2 units. They said the first one was a piece of garbage, even though they installed it, and suggested a $1750 upgrade to a SECOND UV light. They suggested the same for the other unit, a 6 year old Rheem. Then, after the guy left the second unit stopped working!! I called the company. First guy claimed it was fine. It was not. Second guy said I needed a new control panel, maybe, and suggested a new unit!! I called another company and it was a loose wire! Unbelievable!! it was a $65 fix. Also, the new company could not find any sign they cleaned the coil or did any """"maintenance."""" They give commissions to the repair guys who upsell. This is a nationwide company and should be investigated. Update -- main office apologiZed and refunded everything

I am a property manager. This company posts fancy ads online. We had a technician come out on June 30, 2017, and he diagnosed the issue as needing a new thermostat. Our tenant in the house authorized the repair, and SERVICE EXPERTS charged us $450 to replace the existing thermostat. I googled the product that they installed, and it's available online with free shipping for $97, so this company charged us over $350 for an hour of their time to install a thermostat. I would never ever use this company again.

Tonight, you all had the opportunity to make repeat customers. You blew that big time! Our air conditioner went out today and we called to have someone come out. We were told by the technician on call that he would be out after he finished the job he was working on. A couple hours later he tells us we have two calls ahead of us! This is ridiculous! We have a two year old here who is drenched in sweat! My husband said the way he made it sound was that he may not even be able to get to us at all. Your employee at the call center told us it may be because there was a call that came through closer or that it was because a customer you have an agreement with called. If that's the case how do you gain new customers? We can't wait all night for someone to come out! We have the windows open and fans going and it's still 88 degrees in here!

Mike Dezess and John Wagner were right on time and very impressive technicians. In a very short time they had our air conditioner cooling like new. I would recommend them to anyone and if I need service again they will be the ones I'll call. Great company, great guys.

Michael, technician from Service Experts is great! He is friendly, knowledgeable and gave great insight into what I might expect from my current A/C unit. Though my system is old and may need to be replaced in the near future, I did not feel pressured to buy from SE or that he was there to sell! I felt like he gave good advice!

Had a thermostat replaced by Service Experts, with a Honeywell T6 Pro, no Wi-Fi model, cost was $331.00 Lowe sells same model for $52.90. It appears to me that $280 labor is a bit high, for 30 minutes.

BEWARE OF PRICE GOUGING. My brother had Service Experts perform an annual inspection/servicing. His unit was working fine but they told him the outside unit was leaking and that a little oily feel to the air handlers drip pan meant that unit might soon fail. They then quoted him $11,200 to replace the 4-5 ton unit. I own a lot of commercial properties with a total of 35 AC units, so I know what it cost to replace such a unit but got another quote for the same unit from East Coast Air, a VERY HONEST COMPANY. It came in at $6000. I can only think of the elderly and unknowing clients they are taking advantage of, SHAME ON THEM.
