The founder of Service Contractors Plumbing kicked off his plumbing journey at a larger company that specialized in diverse home services. When the original owner decided to downsize, he assisted our owner in establishing this business. Realizing his dream of supporting his family while staying true to his core values was a significant moment for him. We always prioritize our customers and maintain a classic service mentality. This company is dispatched through AHS. Customer service is horrible . Efficientncy is terrible . That don't answer phones . Water was leaking in the pan ( still functional) . He cut the line turned the water off and said I'll be back Thursday, that was Monday . Today is a Sunday no communication and we'll are with water in half of our house . These people along with American Home Shield are horrible !!!!

Was forced to use Service Contractors Plumbing for my repairs through AHS. They claimed the leak I had under my pier and beam house was due to "earth movement" and would therefore not be covered under my warranty contract. I work with plumbers and have shown them the issue, there is no way the earth under my house that I've only been in two years could have shifted that drastically. Especially here in Dallas. They only found a reason they could use so that they could charge me for it and keep it out of warranty contract.

Awful customer service and organization. I requested a technician to come to my home in the afternoon/ evening. The text message I received indicated they would be at my home from 8am- 5pm (I work full time and would be required to take off a full day of work versus; only missing a couple of hours). The tech texted me at 10 am indicating they were in the area. I replied I was not in the area and needed to reschedule; no reply received nor did anyone follow up regarding an additional appointment. When I call 972-232-2810, their scheduler she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a baby in the background which was crying and she was very abrupt when I was trying to explain I'm unable to take off work for a full day. She said "everyone has a job to do and we can't guarantee a four hour time window, it's based on OUR availability. You need us to do a service for you so you need to be available for us"! This philosophy of customer service is
egregious!!!

They were assigned to us by American Homeshield when our hot water heater went out. The sales guy showed up and looked it over and diagnosed a new hot water heater. I asked if we could install a tankless heater instead of another tank by using the money from AHS as part of the upgrade. He said yes and that someone from their office would contact us. No one contacted us to the point we had to contact AHS to ask about status. When we finally got ahold of this plumber, they said a new heater had already been ordered instead of what we asked to happen. I was already 6 days without hot water so I gave up the idea of an upgrade. When they showed up to install it was a heater that was only 2/3 of the size of the one they took out. No comment or explanation and it was just " you'll take this or wait a lot longer." I will never use AHS or this plumber again.

AHS sent for a stoppage that won't be covered. However, Jimmy, their plumber was professional and helpful. can't say the same for their office manager who will not return calls. was left with, manager will get back to you as this may have to go through homeowners. They will not return any calls. Before I understood this would not be covered, Jimmy came back to do a different repair. The only way that happened was after I complained to AHS. They called the plumbing company and then magically I received a call. I would never recommend this company and have voiced that concern through AHS. Absolutely horrible customer care from their manager. Jimmy needs to get with a reputable company bc he was informative, polite, and professional. cannot say that about the management

They are not responsive at all...we had a need with a hot water heater. No hot water for 4 days. Had to call another contractor who handled it within 2 hours. Would not recommend!

DO NOT use this company.. unless you want to hear a FUCK YOU on your call. Else call AHS and tell them to switch the contractor.. Wait another day or 2. They told us that the motherboard burned due to regular use. they told AHS that it burnt because of a power surge. There was no power surge.

This company is a joke. When you call the office they have a recording saying they are helping other customers so leave a message or stay on the line and they will be right with you. I left a message and never got a call back. I waited on hold for 15 minutes and no one answered. The were assigned by my home warranty company to replace a water heater. They scheduled an appointment and were supposed to be at my house between 10am and 2pm. At 6pm the tech finally showed up and then because I had shut the water off to the water heater because it was leaking he told the warranty company that I had tampered with the unit and he could not diagnose the problem. I had told him to just turn the valve to open the water line and he could see the water coming out of the bottom of the unit. He didn't bother to do that and so my home warranty company denied my claim and would not pay to have it replaced. I would stay far away from this company and if they are assigned by your home warranty company ask for another company.

They are awful and if I could put no stars I would have. Mikayla has the worst customer service skills than anyone I have ever dealt with, first they did not show up for the appointment, after I left work and waited a hour for them to show up. I called a dozen times and left voicemails to no avail. I ended up having to take a 2nd leave from work to meet them. They were assigned to me by American Home Shield, which I believe is in cohoots with this company.
I have cracks in my toilets and I live alone with my dog and Service Contrators Plumbing told AHS these were not due to normal wear and tear and therefore they will not replace them. When I bought the house the toilets were cracked and I was told AHS would replace them but that is not the case. They are taking the word of Service Contractors instead of the customers.

This company is a total sham. This very unprofessional plumber just did a patch job on my downstairs toilet. Now there is water leaking behind my walls in my dining area. They need to be reported to the BBB as well. And American Home Repair offs at fault as well for sending these idiots to my home in the first place... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!
