For over four decades, Kevin Comerford and his family have been fulfilling the heating and air conditioning demands of Northern California residents. Kevin completed his studies at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1994. Following his graduation, he came back to join his parents' air conditioning and heating company. After 25 years of ownership, his parents sold the business to a large corporation in Dallas, TX. He spent six years with that corporation before choosing to exit the corporate world and create a family-oriented, client-focused business similar to his parents' in 1972. Thus, he founded Service Champions in 2002. Guided by these values, Kevin's company has grown to include more than 200 team members and has been in operation for 18 years. Today, Service Champions caters to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and the Sacramento area.

Kevin resides in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and three children.

Joe Decker arrived on time to flush my water heater. He asked me if I wanted him to check the rest of the plumbing in the house it's free. He came up with numerous of things that needed fixing. The p traps on two sinks, rebuilt two toilets, install a new toilet with a installation fee, replace the rod in the hot water heater and two right angle stops. Joe came back a week later to complete the work. He arrived a 6pm I told him that I didn't need anything done to one of the bathrooms. He proceeded to change the plumbing underneath the sink that I asked him not to do. When I asked him why he was changing the p trap he told me because he wanted to.That sink was fine and didn't need any repair. When he changed the rod in the water heater he made the comment that the rod wasn't as bad as he thought it was therefore it didn't need to be changed either. The old rod wasn't replaceable because he cut it.The next day the sink that he installed the new p trap plus other parts had a leak. 3 of the parts he installed were wrong. Joe came back out to fix it. He put tape around the pipe in the kitchen and bathroom to stop them from leaking. In my opinion a quick fix. In my opinion since Joe had been working for Service Champions for 7 months. A senior person needed to check his work. Yesterday 11/10 the sink started leaking again profusely. I called the office and reported how disappointed I was with Joe Decker's work. The receptionist offered to send out another plumber. I told her no thank you that I called another plumber. If I had taken her up on her offer that would have been the 3rd time that Joe would have come out. I asked her to cancel my MVP membership and that I would not use Service Champions ever again. My thoughts were how much of the work had been made up and did I really need to have it done. How many other customers have been taken advantage of? I had to pay $300 more to the experienced plumber to fix Joe's sloppy work. Not to mention the $2500 that I had previously paid service Champions. The quality of work has gone down hill. They've lost me as a customer. I'll never use them again or recommend them to family or friends.

Most shady and unethical company I have ever experienced. Stay away from this company. It will charge you 25 times higher than the average price. Please don't treat people stupid. We know how to search for the price your item costs. Charging double, triple, or even quadruple is not a big deal since it is a business that needs to earn money, but charging almost 25 times higher (after calculation) is beyond ridiculous!

The service is amazing. Usually when I called the electrician, that means something is really going on. Previous 2 house owners didn't figure it out . I know the problem but can't find somewhere to fix it. The electrician was able to locate my photoelectric issue and solve the problem. I was contacting 10 others different companies with the explanation of what happening but all r asking about the picture or said unable to do service like that . They just don't know what going on out there.
To be honest, I was a little hesitant in the beginning due to this company covering a few variety of topics but seems like they are the groups of all knowledgeable people. Also the fees is amazingly reasonable and worth it. Will recommend to my friend too.

I asked for an estimate for a whole house fan installation, and instead the company kept insisting I answer a lot of totally unrelated sales questions, as below... I don't see why it's any company's business why I am interested in a product (although it seems pretty obvious), how I heard about them, or who will join me for the visit. The project installation date depends on if I like their price, so it's unnecessary to discuss prior to an estimate in my view.

I gave up trying to do business with them after about three or four emails.

Just canceled our MVP service. Recently had some work done and there was 2 dark stains on our less than one year old carpet. Contacted them immediately to address the issue. After multiple days of calls, with the response that ""a manager didn't answer the phone so ill send an email"" we tried to clean before it set in the carpet. Was able to get some out but there was still a dark mark in our real light carpet. After a week of waiting they sent someone out to take pictures. That was over a week ago and nothing. Tired of the poor customer service and inability to take responsibility for their damage to my property. I over looked the fact that they raised the yearly price without me knowing, bit when I have to constantly call and get the same BS reply over and over....I am done.

So please look out if you choose them. We even made sure to put a towel down in the room where they access the attic just in case. Didn't expect the ladder to be in our room where the stains were made.
