For over four decades, Kevin Comerford and his family have been fulfilling the heating and air conditioning demands of Northern California residents. Kevin completed his studies at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1994. Following his graduation, he came back to join his parents' air conditioning and heating company. His parents sold the business to a $5 billion corporation in Dallas, TX, after 25 years of ownership. Kevin worked with that company for six years before deciding to leave the corporate environment and establish a family-owned, client-centered business like his parents did in 1972. As a result, he launched Service Champions in 2002. With these core values, Kevin's business has flourished, now employing over 200 team members and celebrating 18 years in operation. Currently, Service Champions provides services to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento.

Kevin makes his home in Pleasanton, CA, alongside his wife and three children.

Leaving a review specifically for Travis Moore! (I'm not sure if this is the correct Service Champions page for him but I hope it is.)

I live in a condo complex in Rocklin that has hydronic HVAC systems. When my AC went kaput on August 2, 2024, I quickly learned quite a bit about these systems-- the main thing being that almost no HVAC companies would even bother talking to me (including Rocklin Heating & Air). I put the word out with some neighbors in my complex to get some help figuring out who to call, and one of my neighbors said he had been working with Travis on his air handler replacement and gave me Travis's cell phone number.

Travis provided some of the quickest responses to text messages that I've ever gotten from a company. All I had to do was send him a question, and I'd get almost an immediate response. He's very knowledgeable and even came out to help prepare a pricing proposal for me.

I did receive pricing proposals from a couple of other companies that were significantly lower than Service Champions, but Travis was also very helpful in advocating on my behalf to see what could be done in terms of pricing. Ultimately, I did decide to get the job done with another company, but I wanted to leave these kudos for Travis because he was immensely helpful in a time that was very stressful for me. Please let him know his quick responses and expertise are very appreciated!!

Their communication level is terrible, their build quality is pretty bad compared to what they promised to rip out, and I'm constantly concerned that their work is going to just endlessly leak.

I've been basically abandoned and they've not communicated to me on when their guys are going to come out to fix the panel. Honestly, I'm disappointed in the quality.

oh my Gosh Pat and Taylor and Jake were fantastic and was very patient with me and understanding and went out of his way to help me more than I expected Pat was the very best man who made me feel safe and understand my situation and was caring , patient and explain everything with me and Tim . They all need a raise for doing such a great job and if I had the money I would gone it to them but I don't . Update....well melissa I already called the manager and he said he agreed with the techs estimate. Lol. They said my blower fan was shot, and that destroyed fan was being nice cool air into my house while the salesman was here, but he was so focused on making a 32,000 dollar sale and grabbing his cut, that he didn't even realize it was running while he was here. Got it all on video along w the entire conversation in which I re-state "" so the blower is all done huh""- the salesman said yes, WHILE MY AC WAS RUNNING. chuckle chuckle. Your claim of taking fraud seriously is only for this forum, and those who read the reviews. You're lying to them too. Someday you people will get busted. Don't do ANYTHING w service champions. Read the other stories here very similar to mine. Then decide.
