Kevin Comerford and his family have been addressing the heating and air conditioning requirements of Northern California residents since 1972. Kevin graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1994. After graduation, he returned to work in his family's air conditioning and heating business. His parents sold the business to a $5 billion corporation in Dallas, Texas, after 25 years of ownership. Kevin spent six years with that company before deciding to leave the corporate environment and establish a family-owned, client-focused business like his parents did in 1972. Consequently, he launched Service Champions in 2002. With these core values, Kevin's company has grown to include more than 200 team members and has been in operation for 18 years. Today, Service Champions caters to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area, covering the East Bay, South Bay, and Sacramento areas.
Kevin resides in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and three children.

With all the recent rains, we had problems with out furnace which was under the house. Jasmin Cambra from Service Champions came out several times between storms, and serviced us to get things up and running again. She is a definite asset to your Company, and a true professional. We have been clients for a long while, and plan to continue with techs like her!!!

Zach Taylor came out today to service my furnace. I'm ashamed to say it had been MANY years since I did this. My furnace and water heater are very old and while they still work, I've known there are much more efficient systems out there now. Zach let me know there is a crack in my - whachamacallit - that can leak CO into the house. Zach could not have been more kind and knowledgeable and didn't shame me for not keeping up on recommended maintenance.
Next week others from SC are coming to confirm the crack and give me an estimate for a new system. I will do some homework, but I think this company will get my business to upgrade my furnace and water heater.

I agreed to schedule an appointment with Service Champions for a water heater replacement assessment and quotation. What motivated me was the previous technician's advice who visited to perform a furnace tune-up. He showed me pictures of the indications of corrosion and potential failure of my 20+ year-old water heater. The appointment was filled by Tyler D. He arrived on time, was adhering to all safety protocols, and pleasurable. After he confirmed the condition of my existing water heater he produced a quote for a traditional water heater replacement. We inquired about other technologies, and he produced a quote for a tankless unit. There was no pressure, and he agreed to forward the quotations by email.
We appreciated the low-pressure sales call. Tyler emphasized the financing options, if we so decided to go that route. But the presentation did not really offer step-up/step-down options for models of WHs. He did not really get into savings calculations but predicated the proposal on the potential failure of the old unit. I asked about rebates, since in the era of carbon reductions there are plenty; he did not have any to offer. We will continue to pursue bids, seeking the highest value for the replacement and savings.

Our heater would suddenly not come on, of course it happened late on a very cold night to boot! So, the next day I called Service Champions, and they came out the next day. It turned out to be an easy (almost embarassing) fix - something had caused the breaker to flip, while we were on vacation somehow - have no idea why, and I didn't think of checking that.
It was a $39 charge instead of $89 for the visit and troubleshooting since I'm a ""silver"" member, meaning that I pay ~$200/yr for maintenance contract, but I guess it's their standard policy to charge for a special call.
Best thing was that Jasmin C. showed up on time, was professional, super nice and personable, and she troubleshot the problem quickly. Since it was quick, immediately started the overdue safety inspection, which optimized the time/visits for both us and Service Champions. Thanks Jasmin!

I have been using them for over a decade, and they have been prompt for immediate services, and reliable for scheduled maintenance.
Today I want to provide special thanks to the technician Gina Revelle for being patient and spending extra time - in addition to the service time, explaining the system settings in detail, and answering all the questions, that I had not been able to figure out for a long time.

Good service, responsive people and got things fixed 3 days after inspection. Would use again.

I needed my furnace inspected as it had not been done for about 10 years. I called service champions, I was greeted in the very friendly voice, told them what I needed and a service call was scheduled. I was sent notification and confirmation of my appointment, they followed up with a reminder the day before about my appointment and the morning of my appointment they contacted me to let me know the technician was on his way. Zach arrived on time, he was extremely courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and he explained everything in a way that I could understand as he showed me where the problems were with my heating system. Service Champions will be the only company I use in the future.

We had replaced our thermostat ourselves and could not get the furnace running and called Service Champions and got someone to come over in one day. So right away we were happy with Service Champions. Dave U. came today and got our furnace running and told us that the thermostat we purchased was defective. And then scheduled a technician to come early next week and install the new one we will buy. He was really great and explained lots to us. We had an excellent service call today, and Dave U. was so good.

I was charged $600+ to replace a $30 dollar part that took 10 minutes to change and then not given a receipt. User beware!!!
