I hired Selvin Plumbing to install a water heater. I was not in a rush, so I asked him to provide me with estimates for tankless and standard water heater installations. His estimates were very reasonable for both types of installations.

I had him remove my standard 40 gallon water heater and replace it with a better model. He got the job done in approximately 2 hours.

While he had an excellent price and estimate for the tankless install, it was just not in the cards for us this time around.

I chose Selvin because he was professional, his price estimates were fair and his installation and knowledge was excellent.

I would hrecommend Selvin Plumbing to anyone looking for a full service plumber.

****UPDATE****

On 05/15/19 I hired Selvin Plumbing to replace a broken garbage disposal. He was easy to communicate with, set up a time to stop by and was able to replace the existing garbage disposal with a new one in under an hour.

Before leaving, they made sure to test all the connections for leaks and as expected, the job was done very well. The professionalism, quality of work and reasonable prices are why I continue to always recommend Selvin Plumbing and Rooter to others.

Excellent! He should up on time and was very thorough. Explained everything very clearly. The pricing was a little confusing as I added one more thing to do it was another $125. All in, it was a very good deal and I highly recommend them.

Alex and Selvin are awesome! Great prices, very prompt, professional, and courteous. I reached out to them at 6pm and they come out by 8am the next morning! They can easily handle snaking drains/sinks. My problem was bigger though due to construction debris (wood) in the pipe itself. They were able to trace the snake to the blockage and took care of removing the fitting and cleaning up the area before they left! Highly recommend!

Excellent service. From the moment I requested a quote, I never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a response through Yelp messaging. Based on the information I provided they gave me an expected rate (the other vendors I tried to get a quote from, they said they would do a free on-site estimate). I didn't want to risk a ""bait and switch"" with these other vendors so I went with Selvin who at least gave an estimate over the phone. Alex from Selvin arrived right on time to the minute. He immediately saw we were a no-shoe house and put on some disposable booties and put them on/off every time he went through the door - the little things are always a nice touch. He then proceeded to diagnose the situation and begin fixing. I asked if he could also fix a cracked pipe in the same assembly and he had the parts and gave me an estimate. He fixed both efficiently and held to the same estimate - no surprises. Along the way, he tightened a few loose bolts in the other sink. Great service.

I used Yelp's quote service after another plumber was a no show, and Selvin was the fastest to respond. They quoted me a price to install my new kitchen faucet within 2 hours. They showed up on time and charged me the exact price. They set expectations for the work they would do up front. Then I asked them to fix a bathroom fixture too, and the quoted me another price and fixed it on the spot. Even better they cleaned up the work site when they were finished (even though most of the mess was there before they got there). I think that's the sign of true professionals. I would definitely recommend them for future work.
