I received several quotes from many plumbers but selected Selvin based on the responsiveness for estimate, clear and confident approach, and small family business versus a larger company.
I'm happy with my interactions with Selving and Alex (brothers). The job was done on time and within budget. They explored any assumptions to ensure there was no uncertainties. Additionally, their job was neat and clean according to code.
I recommend for jobs. Mine was a laundry hook up involving extending a gas line. Update the water and drain.

Had a clogged bath sink that I had tried to snake first but the pipes were large pvc glued at the joints and didn't wanted to destroy them nor had right tools for better access to the clogs.
Ended up taking out some gunk out while pushing the rest further down the drain.
This where I had to do a cost/benefit analysis of whether to invest in hundreds of dollars for better tools, getting correct type of brass replacement pipes easier to work with and twisting my fragile back into a pretzel.
Not too happily, decided to ask Yelp for available plumbers near me and was solicited by 6 good companies (Yelp was awesome in this case by the way).
Selvin won my biz bc of his availability and his super polite mannerism.
He showed up on time and replaced pipes w brass ones and drained it in less than hour. The price was very reasonable as I have a good ideal on what the going rate is.
I also like it that I think Selvin himself does most if not all of the jobs himself instead of sitting around the office/home/beach directing his harem of on-call plumbers.
Selvin provided 30 days of guarantee and confidant he will stand behind his work but 1 thing he could improve on is to provide written receipt wo being asked for one.

Our shower, bath tub and garage sink would flood with rust water whenever we would use the the bathroom & kitchen sinks in our house. We would literally have to bail out water to prevent over flow.
Selvin was the second plumber we called. He came the same day and had a mask on (thankfully). He checked out the bathroom, garage sink and went into the crawl space. He immediately knew the problem and provided an estimate. We received three more estimates, all saying different things with different prices. Two of which wouldn't even check the crawl space without an additional fee. I felt comfortable choosing based on his no-nonsense approach, immediate diagnosis and review. It was a Friday when I gave him the go-ahead and he came the NEXT day. On Saturday! He immediate go to work replacing our pipes in the crawl space. We needed to replace three. The pricing was fair. He completed the job that same day and all of our sinks, shower and tub worked like normal! I am a very happy customer and will recommend him.

Our pipe under the sink blew up and they came right away to give me a quote for a difficult job. He had to go do another estimate and then came back and completed the job. They worked quickly and did a great job getting my kitchen sink back up and running. I will be calling them for any other plumbing repairs I need in the future.
