Definitely do NOT recommend. 2 years later I am still paying for the mess they made. They do not pull permits like they're supposed to or install equipment correctly or up to code. Call Anytime Plumbing instead. They're more pricey, but they back their work and pull proper permits.

My electric bill climbed from $79 in November 22 to $600 in April 23. I called NV Energy to come out and check our appliances and install new smart thermostat hopefully fixing my problem. They found nothing wrong and my bill continued to climb. My Son called Albert at Second Opinion Plumbing and he immediately knew what was wrong , came out and fixed it in a couple of hours!

4th plumbing company I used in a month including one that my warranty company offered me that tried to up sale me and redew all my plumbing charging up to 6500$ on a simple bathroom sink that was clogged and me using sizzle liquid that works well but still didn't unclog all the way this company second opinion came and unclogged it in 5 minutes thankfully I'm relieved I spend 135 on them after a 6500$ estimate from ideal services that my warranty company is only assigned to which gave me that 6500$ estimate to install a sink removal and put new plumbing cause they couldn't unclog the drain simple upsale on this companies but second opinion was awesome Albert the plumber fixed my problem asap thank you .

My hot water heater is putting out brown water. I called my home warranty people and they assigned Second Opinion Plumbing. I had an appointment set up for me by them and my home warranty people. SOP never showed. I call SOP and they asked me to take photos of the hot water. I did and sent them.
A plumber from SOP never came to my home. I called back when they did not come out and was told they would come out and replace the water heater prior to Thanksgiving.
They did not show. The ""24-7 phone goes unanswered and their machine if full. I sent emails and got no response. Now here it is Monday and I had to call several times to get to talk to a person. 9:07 am. I was told the claim was not submitted. I asked why? and she told me, ""Look do you want me to submit this or not"" If you looking for a plumber to not answer their phone and not show up to appointments you have came to the right place.

Idk what's up with the bad reviews they had bad employees in the past I guess! The guy that helped us out was very helpful and got to work right away. Thanks to them I know have a smoothie bar in my business! They were able to add a grease trap no problem. & had them fix a few things in my house, good job!

TL;DR: Plumbers couldn't install a brand new water heater correctly.
This seemed like it would go well- but turned out to be a disaster. My electric water heater went out and my warranty company approved a replacement. I'd already been without hot water a few days so Second Opinion worked fast to replace it same day. I was delighted and thanked them. I really had thought that i lucked out.
But the hot water never worked- something was wrong with the install. They were recalled and came back - turns out that they didn't install it correctly- ""loose wire nut"" holding wires to connect power. So it was fixed and they left.
But once again it was not getting hot- so they were recalled once again. This time they swore that the electrical conduit was broken. They said it would only work from a certain position. Also I found out that an electrical breakaway box was code, and they said they knew that but aren't electricians - yet it was disappointing that they hadn't told me that on the install. Also the earthquake straps were installed wrong when I bought the house- I mentioned this as well and they agreed... but didn't fix it. They installed a water heater and didn't want to put the straps on up to code even though they knew this would get kicked back in an inspection.
Anyway, different electricians came in and discovered that Second Opinion just didn't know how to connect the wires to the heater. They just needed to be crimped and twisted- very easy and basic.
I appreciate that Second Opinion came back several times and that they tried. Also the techs were nice guys and seemed to do their best. But they couldn't do this install correctly or bring things up to code. Didn't inform me of inspections that had to be done or what would be required from additional electrical work- i had to find that out on my own. They couldn't even do the basic task of installing the water heater correctly.
I feel bad leaving this review because they really tried. I just think they might need more training.

My mom elderly had a water heater installed new. Next day it didnt work. They came back out then it worked then didnt work right off and on for about 6 months. After about 10 calls to them and warranty they said everything fixed. But never worked right. Poor mom had to go through this. Then week ago maggie said to my mom after she called again saying it doesnt work. Maggie said we dont service your location anymore. Then after fighting more they came out again said it worked. But it didnt so we called gas company and they said part was installed wrong your lucky house didnt blow up. Unreal so mad my elderly mom had to go through this.

Be ready for a third opinion if you go with these guys! Their service is horrible! They came to my house 5 months ago and ran a camera service...they didn't mark the location of the issue with the pipe and the tech explained to me that there was a belly in the old cast iron pipe. I finally saved up enough money to get the problem fixed and and called them back. They wanted to recharge me to do another camera scope because they didn't record the location the first time which is part of the service. They also said that in the notes it was a break in the pipe and not a belly. I was trying to give them the job but told them they needed to discount their scope service since they didn't record the info correctly. They refused to discount the scope service and the two ladies at the desk were very rude. Please save your money and time.

Business placed a new water line from the water meter to the inside of the garage. Albert came out and completed the job exceptionally well! the business it's self was very reliable and fast at the job and extremely nice. I highly recommend to anyone needing any plumbing services done in their home or business

Plumber did great work. The company Responded quickly, good customer service, and a estimate I couldn't refuse.
