I would not even give them 1 star,my warranty company sent (second opinion plumbing) out to check my hot water heater, they show up basically tell me they can't do anything to help, they don't even have a water heater on there truck, then they told my warranty company that they did an inspection of my water in my home and the heater which they didn't. Also the guy had the nerve to tell me he can flush my heater out for $200.00 dollars. very unprofessional. If you have a home warranty and have plumbing concerns, don't let them step foot on your property.

Once you actually get them to show up, Watch out! Rip off, they are working with Old Republic Home Owners Protection and it's a scam. At first I was told it's a simple fix to change a leaky water valve by my washer machine, when the guy finally came out now it's a major project where they need to cut down the dry wall and replace pipes... the insurance company said your are in luck, all you have to pay for the upgrade to my plumbing and pipes and valves is an additional $175. Ok, so now I'm thinking not too bad, $75 + $175 for this major project. When Second Hand finally showed up for this major project the repair man was in and out in 5 minutes, all he did was change the simple water valve. AGAIN watch out these two companies have a scam to rob your hard earned money. When I called Old Republic to complain she said we will report it, I said will anyone follow up with me, she said nope... end of story.

Our hot water heater wasn't working properly. (I believe the gas wasn't heating it up). It required a new replacement part. As soon as we requested someone come check it out Albert arrived within two hours. Albert was awesome. He went all the way across town (during heavy traffic hours) and returned same day (again during traffic hours). Anyone who lives in vegas will tell you that the 5pm traffic is no joke so we really appreciate him for doing a same day repair. Thank you!

I just want to say how much I appreciated the quick service. Called about my water heater leaking at 2:30 on a Saturday and had my new one installed by 6:00 ! Wow, I thought I would be staying at a hotel until Tuesday at least but they came through for me. I also want to thank Albert our tech who was very nice and informative ! We will look to them for all future repairs and needs ! Thanks Albert for dealing with the heat and making things right for me and may family !
p.s. they carry two sizes of heaters with them so no having to wait days for install !

This company is a joke came out couldn't fix my problem then didn't correctly install a hose and didn't anything about it and left. Of course couple hours later my house is flooded and now they won't take responsibility for the damages. Trash company with a trash manager that hangs up on you as soon as he hears something he said is wrong. In the modern day customer service is king and this company will die off because of the way it's run and the joke people it has running it. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

My landlord gave me their number threw old republic home warranty to set up an apt after they failed to call me for my water heater. I made the apt for today with a 3 hour window 10-1pm. By 1:25 I called them and he said the guy was running late that he would be here in 30. When he finally got here I explained the problem and the problem with the guy who had came before him that attempted to fix it. He said no worries and said it was fixed 10 minutes later and asked to feel the hot water. The water was hot but I explained to him this is what happened two days ago, The guy said it was fixed and once he left an hour later my water would no longer be hot.
Well the same thing happened AGAIN. So beyond frustrated by now I call the main office number and I kept getting an out of service tone. I then call the technicians cell and he tells me he's going to call the warranty company. 20 minutes goes by without a call back so i call him back and he blocked me!! I then call him from another phone number and the idiot answers and says sorry you need to call the warranty company yourself. All and all I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
I still can't get ahold of the main office and I still have no hot water. After reading all of these horrible reviews I can't believe the warranty company still deals with this unprofessional type of business. You do not block a customer because they simply want to know why you did not fix the problem. Do not waste your time

If I could give this company less than one star I would. I am a first time home buyer and my home warranty company sent out this complete joke of a company to look at why my washing machine doesn't get cold water. The plumber was nice enough although he jumped all over my washing machine. He didn't have the part he needed to fix my machine but he would be back in a few days. As soon as he left I put some clothes in the machine and went about my business. I was sitting downstairs when I heard a waterfall splashing onto my tile. I look up and there's water streaming out of my vent and run upstairs to see that my entire laundry room, hallway, and part of my guest bedroom is covered in about half an inch of water. I immediately called the phone number of the plumber that came out but he didn't pick up. I called the company number 14 times before I got an answer with an attitude completely lacking any empathy or concern. The woman on the phone said that she could have someone come back at 8:00 PM. Completely unacceptable! When the plumber came back out he stated over and over that this was not his fault. How could this not be his fault. There was no leak what so ever before this guy shows up and now there is. Now I'm stuck 3 days later with a warped ceiling, no resolution, and no call back from the so called manager who seems to be to concerned with other things than taking care of his customers.

Update: I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to post this. However the ""manager"" Henry declined to call me back so I called and spoke to him only to have him say that they will not be taking responsibility for the incompetence of the plumber and hung up on me.

Second opinion plumbing, more like last resort plumbing. -10 stars.

Every toilet in our house was backed up and coming through the bathtubs. We called our home warranty company and they said they didn't know if anyone would be able to come out on a Sunday, so I was SHOCKED to see someone show up not an hour or so later. Albert was friendly, professional, and got everything fixed very quickly! Really pleased with the service from this company.

We made the appointment weeks ago b cause we were only going to be in town a couple of days and needed a clogged toilet fixed in our condo.

The condo HOA already had a plumber come out and diagnose the issue. We called Second Opinion the delay before they came out to tell them what the other plumber said and what the tech would need to bring.

Waited around all day for someone to show up with a clipboard and no tools. The office hadn't told him anything. He didn't bring anything. He said he was here to look at the problem and take some notes. I protested as we were only in town for a couple of days. He called his supervisor. Supervisor said ""sorry...it doesn't look like we are going to be able to help you"" and they left me an invoice for $75 for 90 seconds of saying ""hmmm. I'll have to call my supervisor.""

What a joke of a company

Here is an update: we called the home warranty company & told them what happened. They sent another company, Ideal Services put in less than 2 hours. They worked for several hours and fixed the problem.
