I had purchased a sink faucet for my daughter's home. They put her on the schedule first thing Monday morning. My son in law arranged his schedule so he could be there at that time. No show, and no call was made. He called them, and they said he was on the schedule for the afternoon between 1 and 3 pm. No show, and no call. He called them again, and they said they would put him on the schedule for first thing the following morning, Tuesday. No show and no call. He called them again, and they didn't even have him on the schedule for that day. This faucet cost $881, and was paid for as a gift to my daughter and her family. We have cancelled this order, and I now have to wait seven to ten days for reimbursement. Very poor management and scheduling, and am very disappointed with this company. Do not use their services, you are likely to be disappointed, and charged more than necessary! Definitely not a five star company as they claim.

Scott Hale is a rip off and price gouging. They are charging over $800 to replace a $150 garbage disposal.

8/8/22 EDIT: Scott Hale did ultimately get me on the schedule and did replace the leaking coil; the a/c seems to be working again. After a discussion with Mason's supervisor, Scott Hale gave me a refund of $1000, which I thought was fair. I'll update again if something else happens.
- Scott Hale Plumbing Drains Heating and Air is super sketchy. Mason (aka: Jervis for some reason) is a jerk and a liar.
- Mason's diagnosis (after I paid the ""diagnosis fee"") blamed me for ""dust on the exterior a/c unit which caused loss of refrigerant"" (a confirmed lie) and wanted me to pay $860 to recharge it and hose off the dust.
- I called another hvac company (since Mason had already left and couldn't return for almost a week), and they actually did a diagnosis and told me there's definitely a leak and I should call Scott Hale back (since they're the ones who installed it new four years earlier - and it's still under warranty).
- I called Scott Hale back, and they sent Mason again. Only after I insisted he actually investigate, and told him another company confirmed a leak, did he finally cut the original tape to open a panel on the inside unit. Mason immediately found an obvious major leak from the coil, just like I had previously suggested, and that he initially scoffed at.
- Mason then said $1500 flat fee for warranty repair ""no matter how difficult or easy it might be"".
- Mason wanted me to sign three(?) forms just to get on the repair schedule and when I asked to read the fine print first, he snatched the tablet back and tried to leave.
- He only agreed to continue if I hurry and sign the forms, AND added that I now had to pay the $1500 upfront before he'd even put me on the schedule.
- I literally had to do it because it was 100 degrees, but I'll NEVER HIRE SCOTT HALE again.

My AC fan stopped working on a Saturday. Chris came out and told me my blower motor was dead. He quoted me $1400 for the motor. Said it may take over a week to get it from their supplier (they are a lennox dealer and my system is a lennox....interesting) and that they could put in a new system quicker (of course they could!). I thought this was fishy so I paid for the service call and they were going to call me the following Monday and let me know the lead time for the $1400 blower. I found it on over 6 web sites for under $350 (Lennox model 60L21). They called me on Monday after I canceled the service and said they had a motor ( a miracle!) and were on their way over to my house with the $1400 motor. I had a different company come over and found the problem was simply a bad capacitor. Total cost of repair including service call: $366. I think Scott Hale needs to do a bit of self reflection on their service (?).

Do note that most of the reviews are either one or five star. So some of them may be fake? No matter. Our experience was that on a Friday evening suddenly every drain and tolet started backing up. Swage coming up in a basement bathtub. We started panic calling plumbing companies. Scott Hale said they could be out first thing in the morning. Another company said they could come Monday morning. So we set up an appointment with two guys from Hale. They said the news was dire. They had their camera half way to the street and the clay pipe was totally collapsed. The driveway needed to be torn out and about 20 feet of pipe replaced. $8000. Or more. Probably more. And they could start on Tuesday. A back hoe would start tearing out the driveway. Well there was swage in the basement. No working plumbing for three families. So yes, let's do it. Monday the other company showed up. I forgot to cancel. So my wife said have them try, what's another $150 at this point? Well their machine got to the place where the ""camera"" had seen the collapse. Nothing. A few roots. They continued out into the street. And where our line ties to the main there was something jammed there. Made of concrete. How? What? Don't know. But they broke it up and that was that. Total cost, $280. So.... Some one star reviews, some five. You pick.

Company came by for a minor repair and ""Upsold me to a new unit. Turns out it was the wrong size for the house and after 5 visits it doesn't work properly. I tried to speak with a manager but they ""were all on vacation"" (!). The one guy I spoke with didn't seem at all honest. I should have checked the BBB complaints first. I am an idiot.

Had them come out to just do a simple AC Tune-up based on some SPP program they sold me on. That was my first mistake. Rafael came out for the appointment. Neither my wife or I like Rafael. He was brash, rude, and unprofessional. After looking at our 2 AC units he approached my wife and says there are 2 things. One is mandatory and the other is optional. She of course said to do just the mandatory that we will research the optional service, and he said under his breath even though my wife could still hear ""I went to school I know what the f#%$ I am talking about"". He also dropped the F word in my basement when he was looking at my AC damper system. He seemed utterly confused like he had never seen one before. Either way he was toying around with the damper system that I paid $4k to have installed. He said well hopefully this doesn't short it as he kept unplugging and plugging wires in and out of it. Then he left and took payment over phone which was strange. Did he keep my credit card number that was said over the phone? Later that evening it began to get warm up stairs. Later to find out that our AC has been on for hours but the temp is not dropping. Warm air if coming from the vents. We went from have a working AC units to non-working AC units after using Scott Hales SPP service. I texted the number that they texted me on a couple time informing of my issues. No response whatsoever after 16 hours. I then call them and then they want to charge me $109 for them to come out and fix what they had broken. DO NOT USE SCOTT HALE AND CERTAINLY DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR MONTHLY PROGRAM. I am now needing to do a chargeback on my card.

These guys are horrible.
They straight up lied to me and stated my furnace was dangerous and needed to be replaced. Stating that it had quit working because the flame sensor was bad, but that it went bad because my heat exchanger was cracked. And that a cracked heat exchanger would put carbon monoxide into my house and kill my family.
Needless to say I got a second opinion despite the high pressure scare tactics the guy was using. It took about 2 hours to get this guy to leave, he just kept up with these horror stories about how I was endangering my family and how he wouldn't do that to his family, blah, blah, blah. I finally had to start calling other HVAC companies with him standing there for him to get the point that I was not falling for his crap.
I had another company come in and they completely disassembled my furnace cleaning everything and inspecting it because of the claims this guy made. They even used meters that measured the combustion and carbon dioxide in the vents. After a thorough cleaning and inspection they found there was nothing wrong with my furnace.
Turns out I only had a faulty thermostat.
This would have cost me about 100 bucks from someone who actually knew how to test the furnace properly.
But it cost $250 as they had to make sure that the previous techs claims were false. Hence the detailed cleaning and inspection.
Not complaining about them though everything works great and the furnace is all cleaned up like new.
But Scott Hale Sucks! From this experience I believe they have to be either totally incompetent or immoral. In my opinion, its both.

It is unfortunate I have to give this company even one star. Let me start by saying I have been a client for approximately 20 years, and have had two businesses, two houses, one condo and two rental units under contract in the past. I was always happy with their service, even though they were expensive and at times I questioned some of their diagnoses. However, they have outgrown their ability to manage their business. I have been trying to get service on a roof top unit on one of our rental units since Dec 9. Initially, the work was postponed due to it being wet (so the liability too high), which I was patient with. They told me they'd get me on the schedule as soon as there was a nice day. Unfortunately, several of those nice days have come and gone, and the appointment has been constantly cancelled and moved, often without notice. The final straw occurred today. The most recent appointment was yesterday between 1:30 and 3:00 (scheduled on the phone with a woman named Tiffany). When I sent a note last night to my tenant (who had taken the day off work to meet the worker) to ask how things had gone, he said they never showed up. I immediately called the company and spoke to Nichole who told me someone had talked to my tenant and they had agreed to reschedule next Monday between 12-3. That surprised me, so I talked to my tenant again, who told me the last person he talked to was Tiffany on Monday. So, Nichole lied to my face, by telling me they had talked to my tenant. I called back and asked to speak to a manager. When I spoke to Kathy and told her of the situation, she apologized (she is at least professional) and said that they only have one guy who can be on a 30 ft ladder, and that he's been out sick the last week (though, of course, this all started on 12/8 and it's now 12/23). When I asked her about the discussion between my tenant and Tiffany, she couldn't explain it. She said that because we know Scott and his wife, and because we'd been long-term customers they didn't want to lose our business (same thing she told me two weeks ago). But, I've had it. I'll never use them again. And I would warn ANYONE, that this firm is nothing but trouble. They can't handle the workload they've built, they are very expensive, they are absolutely NOT reliable, and today, they lied to my face.

Had Scott Hale Plumbing come out to my house for a sewer line blockage. They came out scoped the line, and unplugged it. After unclogging it, they told me I needed to replace my whole sewer line from the house to the Street. Quoted me $29,000 to do it. I told them no thanks. A month later I came home to Scott Hale Plumbing putting up barricades in the street and in my yard, to start digging up my whole yard. They claimed that I had authorized them to change out the whole sewer line. I had never signed anything, and had told them no from the beginning. I ended up having 2 other plumbers come scope the sewer line, and both told me that all I needed was a new coupler meeting the ABS from the House to the PVC. It cost me a little less then $100 to do this. Scott Hale Plumbing preys on people that don't have the knowledge or means to accomplish things on their own. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
