I've used Scott English on 4 different occasions and every interaction has been far above what I've been accustomed to having lived here for a few years. Customer Service. People still do that?!

Travis, Nate, and Robert were the techs that I had the pleasure of having performed service on multiple visits. These 3 are top notch plumbers and people.

I live in a building that only allows for us to use one plumbing company, Scott English Plumbing. My kitchen sink was backed up and only needed to be snaked. I was told that a plumber would arive between 2:30-5. No problem, then recieved a call at 4:30 stating that it'd be longer than expected, over an hour before he'd arrive. At that point I just rescheduled for next day. Now I am told they would be here between 12-2:230. Then I recieved a call from dispatch at 2pm that they were in route and would be here within 1 hour. Ok, again, no problem. I understand that it could be busy, its a friday, and traffic. So skip forward, its now 330. So i decide to call an see whats the ETA. The girl tells me that there tech is on site. Im confussed, why no call? I decide to go down to see whats the hold up, only to find the technician chillin on the fancy chairs in the lobby on his ipad. I asked how long he's been here, of course only a few mins. I think he was just taking a break. I realize that my emergency isnt his urgency. But it should be. I waited around 2 days, to catch this dude, practically feet up on coffee table just lounging. Whatever, let homie check what needed to be done. He goes to get tools, takes 15 mins to return. Took prob 5 mins to fix problem, why tf does it take a lifetime to get ur stuff? If I had a choice I would never use this company. Its not the first time they've wasted my time. Once they came to fix my bathroom sink, come back a few hours later and the entire bathroom was nearly ripped apart. Dirty tools all up an down my apartment hallway, and bathroon vanity completely removed and sitting in hallway. Took them a few days to fix that problem and left behind a huge mess. Ok done venting, if you can, definately use a different company.

After calling Scott English Plumbing, I received a call back in 30 mins. They sent a plumber (Nate) within 30 mins. Awesome! I know that's not normal, but it's still awesome. Nate did a fantastic job! Very professional and courteous. Prices were reasonable and worth it. I would definitely call them back; and ask for Nate.

Scott English Plumbing sent Jeff A. for a persistent faucet leak in the tub. Jeff was very courteous (popped on shoe covers on his own accord!), friendly, thoughtful in diagnosing the problem and worked hard until it was fixed.

The office staff was friendly and helpful when scheduling the appointment, and keeping me posted on Jeff's ETA. Overall a great experience! Thank you!

The best! Professional, courteous, honest and on time. We had a scam artist plumber out the day before who said we had roots in our pipes and he could fix the problem for $10,400! We were referred to Scott English Plumbing. They came and scoped the pipes and saw not one root! They unplugged our clogs for $299. This is the company to call for your plumbing issues.

!!!TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
My down stairs neighbor called me with a reported leak potentially coming from my unit. I was not home and to be neighborly I let my neighbor go in my unit with the plumber to survey the area. I received a text message from the plumber stating he needed to knock out my drywall to investigate. I immediately called the plumber and advised him NOT TO DO ANYTHING until I had personally spoken to my HOA and was present - the next morning - less than 24 hrs. To my shock and surprise when I arrived home from work that evening there was holes in my wall - WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! Scott English Plumbing made the decision to undermine my request and physically alter my home when i clearly said not to. Its a very violating feeling when you come home to walls in your home. I then spoke with Kevin Miller, the owner of Scott English Plumbing to explain the situation. He dismissed my concerns and frustrations and suggested that we would not be having this conversation if the HOA was responsible for damage/repairs. I then explained that he was incorrect and that the issue was his employee dismissing my request and physically altering my home with out authorization. Kevin was extremely rude and condescending to me. He did not take responsibility on behalf of his company which is all that was looking for. Once I mentioned I was going take this to yelp to warn other consumers - he changed his tune - too late. PS...They quoted $500 for the repair and $200 for an inspection fee (which I didn't request) I shopped 2 other plumbers who stated the parts for repair were less than $10. Needless to say I paid a wonderful & professional plumber who respected myself and my home MUCH LESS for the repairs.
BEWARE OF SCOTT ENGLISH PLUMBING!

Called plumber out because I had no hot water pressure in my sink, he came out and says that I have full pressure and the sink is bad.

I spend $200 and buy a sink, and a few hours of my time, find out it still does not work.

Different plumber from another company comes out and says you have absolutely no water pressure.

Scott English plumber was absolutely dead wrong, and he must have checked the cold water valve. . .

I just used this plumbing company for the second time. Last year I got Jimi Moore. He was great so I asked for him again. Like last time he knew exactly what to do without blowing our budget. He has valuable experience & knowledge & honesty. Thank you.

The technician, Shannon, impressed me as a person genuinely interested in my situation. He is 5 stars in my book. He gave me a quote which I felt was very fair without any upsell. I had three other companies give me quotes who tried to upsell me on things I didn't need. One quoted me $85 for a part I found at Orchards for less than $10. But when I scheduled the installation, the service reps had to reschedule to the next day because they had an 'emergency'. Being without a kitchen sink for 10 days is an emergency to me. The following day they called to once again reschedule my appointment from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. They said that Shannon was on an all-day project and all the other technicians called in sick that day (Friday). It wasn't until I said I couldn't wait until Monday that they came up with a Saturday appointment. Thus the 3 stars. But overall this is a good company.

Michael W. provided us excellent service! He was very polite and thorough. He took care of the immediate problem that evening and came back another day to finish additonal work. I would highly recommend him as a service man.
