I will never use them in my home again...
I had called Scott English Plumbing for a problem back in June 2013...they not only that did not fix the problem, but still charged us $225 (which is why we thought that the leaky water valve was fixed). It turned out that they had put Teflon tape around the problem water valve... and then recently when this same water valve created a bigger problem, they pretty much turned and said that you see they were just giving us a consultation. We had no idea that supposedly we were being given only a consult. Asking at other places, the most expensive consultation fee was $100. I will never use Scott English Plumbing in my home ever again!!!!

they came fast when we had a slab leak. they were clean and on time in the follow up work that needed to be done. i would use them again.

I awoke yesterday morning to water on my living room floor. It was hard to tell where it was coming from...was it coming up through the tile? Coming down the wall? I called my HOA. They will only cover a slab leak, but they said they would send a plumber to check it out. If it was a slab leak, they would pay for everything, if not, I would be responsible.

Victor from Scott English arrived within the window of time promised and he was really nice and professional. He quickly went all over my house and checked out all the possible places the water could be leaking from, and finally determined it was a pipe within the living room wall.

Next thing I know, he had cut holes out of my wall (NOOOOO!!!!) and found the leak. He fixed it very quickly. He was very apologetic for having to cut the wall open, apologetic for the leak ever happening. Of course it wasn't his fault, but he was so genuine about it.

I would say he was here about an hour, he was nice and talkative, making conversation about my crazy dog barking upstairs and other things. I will now need a company to come and dry the wall out for me, which he said Scott English does not do, but he recommended I check with my HOA for a reference. I will be going through my insurance company, so hopefully they send me somebody good!

I already have a plumber I use when things usually go wrong, but I would not hesitate to put Scott English on my list, in case my other place is not available.

Price for leak detection and repair was $425, which was $100 more than their usual rate because it was ""after hours."" They also offer a one year warranty on whatever they do.

I called on a friday morning and was able to set up an appointment between 1-3 pm and they would call and notify me when they were the way. I was real happy as I needed a plumber to come that day.
At 2:50 I get a call and they ask me if my appointment was scheduled for today and I reply ""yes"" isn't that why you are calling me now? They say ""well we don't have a technician in that area now so can we reschedule?"" So I figure I guess for later today right? Wrong! They want to come out on Monday or Tuesday.
I scheduled my day around this and they really messed it up and now I will have to find some else and have a leaky kitchen drain until then.

I had a great experience today with Patrick. He was super respectful, thorough and clear about every step he was taking. He tried to find solutions to my problem instead of simply selling me a whole new appliance.

They arrived on time, put on the booties, got right to it. But when the immediate concern proved to be a non-issue (the stain on the ceiling was bone dry, no trouble found), he spent the next 30 minutes trying to find a problem ... just seemed like he was fishing for work. At one point he claimed he could hear a drip inside the wall ~ positively bionic ears! I sent him on his way. Not particularly impressed with his fishing expedition.

dishonest and overcharges. charged me 365 to snake my drain, I paid him then my house flooded again recharged me the next day to come try to fix it again he left without fixing anything fiinaly called another plumber who fixed the problem and charged half of what Jimi at Scott English charged to reflood my house

We were introduced to Scott English Plumbing via our insurance company due to water leaks (yes leaks plural -ugh!). We were so impressed with the quick response and professionalism shown by each employee entering our home, we now make them our ""go to"" plumbing company for all plumbing needs in our home. In addition to fixing 3 water leaks, we've used them to unplug a kitchen sink; install a bathtub; replaced all bathroom fixtures; set 2 toilets. As much as we like them, we hope not to see them anytime soon :-)

I used Scott English Plumbing once before, and had good luck with their service and the representative they sent out. We had trouble a few days ago, and the plumber they sent out (different from the original plumber), did not do a good job, as we needed someone to come back out and fix the same problem. I requested the same service man that came out originally, as he was honest and fixed our problem. Instead, they sent the plumber that was incompetent and was still not able to fix the problem at all. Furthermore, he broke off a tip while snaking our drain, and said that he would most likely ask US to pay for it. When I called their office to inform them of our concerns, they were not willing to compensate us for our inconvenience. Very disappointed in our experience.

This company is a rip off. I only ask to repair 2 faucets and the angle stop and you know how much they charge? They charge me for $300 just to replace a freaking faucet. Home Depot charge me for $260 and your telling me they are more expensive the Home Depot. I did not let them fix my faucets. instead they charge for $30 inspection fee. Never call this plumbing company. SOOOO EXPENSIVE. JUST A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !!!!
