This company was sent by our warranty company, they came out an hour later than the 3hr window they stated. He was supposed to fix a leaky toilet, he looked at the toilet, jiggled it, asked when our floors where installed and said it was the wax seal, which he did not have in his truck, he would have to get one and reschedule, my husband told him there is an ACE hardware around the corner, but was told he doesn't use inferior product . We were told we would have to pay the deductible, which my husband refused because no work was done, after calling the warranty company with the plumbers wife we were told we would have to pay. The $100 was paid and the appt was rescheduled. Surprise! they never showed up for the 2nd appointment. Please do not use this company unless you like wasting your time and giving away money!
Miranda W.Only giving one star because I can't give zero! I was connected to this company through a home warranty service for a toilet/plumbing leak. I scheduled for them to come out today between 11:00-2:00 and took off work to be here for them. They called at 11:00 and told me their van was in the shop and they wouldn't be on time, but that it would DEFINITELY still be today and asked if I was available between 3:00 and 4:00. I told her I could be available anytime, that I've taken off work for the afternoon and absolutely needed to get the work done today. Throughout the afternoon I started to get nervous that I hadn't heard anything back. Called several times and got no answer or callback from my voicemail over several hours. Finally called me back at 4:30 (too late to get another plumber out same-day) and told me the van wouldn't be out of the shop until 5:00. I asked if they could come at that time since it is a small job and I have been off work all day waiting on them. She said """"well, really, the technician is sick and I think he is going to have to go to the ER for a potential heart attack..."""" and tried to get me to reschedule tomorrow. I questioned how much sense it would make for me to take off again tomorrow if he's potentially having a heart attack and she stated that she expected him to make a full recovery by tomorrow. I sure hope the tech is really ok, but it felt like inconsistent excuses all day. Very unprofessional and had zero regard for my time as a customer. Will not be using them and will refuse them if the warranty company tries to send them again.
They don't even deserve 1 star. We had the same issue as all the other reviews. We were referred by Rheem. Husband and wife came out and were never once helpful and just awful. They bickered between each other while talking down to me about our hot water heater installation having so many code errors. He made it clear he wasn't going to help do the issues. Husband and wife were both disrespectful and just awful to be around. I believe the husband just didn't want to do the work. We have complained to Rheem and suggested they take this duo off their list. Read all the other reviews and then request someone else come out. Don't let these people on your property.
absolutely terrible service all the way through, their back office cannot find emails and loses documents. their technicians are undersupplied and only get parts once a week, then the staff was rude and unfriendly when they actually arrived 4 days after their original appointment AND they failed to fix the problem which was a simple garbage disposal replacement. I'm utterly floored and disappointed that folks like this continue to do business
Kim B.Saxton Residential Services to the rescue!!! Mr Tim and Mrs. Virginia were very knowledgeable and fixed the problem with our whirlpool tub within the first 10 minutes! Our homeowners insurance referred us to them after two different attempts with 2 other companies (one suggested that we, unnecessarily, cut into the wall to fix the problem). I am happy that we passed on that offer and waited for Saxton Residential Services. They were very professional and I would recommend their services again and again!!!
Sarah C.I wish I could give 0 stars as this is the absolute worst service I have EVER experienced. The woman that is in charge of scheduling service seems to be a little """"off"""" in more ways than one. I don't want to accuse anyone of taking illicit substances but she is certainly not all together """"there"""". This is evident when you interact with her in person, as well as over the phone. Our home warranty company outsourced service from saxton residential about 2 weeks ago. Everything seemed ok in the initial consultation visit and the husband and wife duo said they should be able to make the necessary repairs that Friday. We scheduled an appointment, in person, for 5pm. I emphasized that I would be missing work in order to make that appointment but they assured me that the repairs would be done in an expedient fashion. Fast forward to Friday at 8pm, they never showed up or even called to let me know they wouldn't be able to make it. The next day, I called to ask what happened and reschedule. The wife and subsequent scheduling assistant had no idea who I was or what job I was referring to. After several minutes of jogging her memory, she was able to finally remember the missed appointment. She made some excuses but ultimately I decided to reschedule for the following Wednesday morning between 8am and 11am. Again, I emphasized that I would be missing work and would not be able to stay past 11am. Well, I was not surprised when 11am arrived and I had not received a phone call or contractor at my home. I called yet again and was very upset when she informed me that they would arrive at 1pm. After a few minutes of reminding her that I was not available during that time, I scheduled yet another appointment for the upcoming Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Here we are, the Saturday of my appointment. I received a call at 915am to explain they were running behind and would arrive at 12pm. I was fine with that because I don't work on Saturdays. Fast forward to 3pm, no phone call, no contractor. I called again, this time the husband answered the phone and was baffled by the whole scenario. He had no idea about my appointment today and told me that the parts for the job had not arrived. He went on to explain that he knew nothing about the appointments that were missed the previous Friday and Wednesday. After I said I was going to contact my warranty company to get another contractor, he said """"Good Luck getting everything covered"""" and was very rude. Ultimately it seems that he should have someone other than his wife handle appointments and communications with clients. Terrible experience and I don't have faith that the job would be done properly due to their current """"say, do"""" ratio. Get another contractor!
Brian H.Horrible, unprofessional service. They came to work in an outside area at my townhouse during a rain storm and didn't even come equipped with umbrellas. My dog was barking, my three month old baby was crying and these folks didn't even seem to have basic courtesy. They lied about their non-inspection of the warranty issue. Seriously, these guys don't even deserve the one star they get on yelp. Even the better business bureau give these guys a retched evaluation.
Miranda H.This business is unprofessional, inconsiderate and a rip off. They were recommended by my home warranty because I need a plumber with a 10ft ladder to reach my water shut off valve. Two guys came and complained about my house and the issue trying to shut off the water which was made know to them in the beginning. After looking at my shower, he said the screw is stripped and will have to drill it out to replace. $30 to remove the screw. Ok fine, he also said I'd have to purchase the replacement part. Ok fine. Anyway, a month has gone by, I setup an appointment with Virginia for a Tuesday. I called her that Monday to confirm. She confirmed it was for Tuesday between 11-2 so I took off, stayed home and waited. No call no show. I called her back Wed she says """"oh I wrote Thursday on your ticket"""" ok so Thursday comes around same thing took off, stayed home and waited. No call no show. I called Virginia on Friday she says """"oh I thought they took care of you already"""".... WTF!!! So she says she'll have them out Monday (today) guess what??? No call no show. They want to charge me a $20 in convenience fee because they have to DRIVE to the back of my property to shut off my water, on top of the $30 to drill a screw out and I bought my own part. And they only take cash!!! What about my inconvenience???
Tj C.Absolutely terrible service and worst craftsmanship. Came over my house 4 times and still doesn't address the problem with my water heater. Unprofessional , said they will be at my house by 12 but didn't show up until 4. Horrible experience with them!
Worst Company Ever!!!! They went to my house yesterday, referred by Rheem to check on a 2 months old water heater that was purchased at Home Depot.The technician, which unfortunately, I don't have his name, showed up empty handed, he walked straight to the unit, swept his finger on top of the unit and mentioned it was DUST that was causing the unit not to work, when I replied in disagreement, He simply walked away very angry, even insulting me in my own house. He got to his car, slammed his car door and drove away!!!! I called Rheem and asked them to please do not use this company again as this will be affecting Rheem's rating and business. I hope they listen. STILL NO HOT WATER.
