Our hot water heater busted on Friday afternoon, Sept. 1st. Contacted American Home Shield by email and received confirmation. Four days later SAP technician came and stated the obvious (water heater needed replacement). Also added that pipe modifications were needed at a cost of $487 that AHS will not cover.
To date, Sept. 7th. I have not been contacted by SAP for installation appointment and will be lucky if I hear from them on Monday! 11 days after the first report to AHS.
Also, had a licensed plumber stop by and state that the pipes going in and out of the house and to water heater do not need to be replaced!!!
I will be cancelling American Home Shield promptly after the work is
completed and calling the President of SAP Home Repairs !!

Hope this never happens to you..consider yourself warned !!!

I was assigned this company through my home warranty. Initially, some half-awake girl called me to set up an appointment. She specifically stressed that I was the FIRST appt. of the day and the technician would arrive by 8 or earlier. I planned accordingly. Of course, at the appt. time I received a text stating the arrival time would be between 8-10. When I called the number provided, the actual plumber "Sean" 832-836-6272 answered the call. I explained to him the confusion, and understood that he was not to blame, but I needed to reschedule with dispatch. He also informed me that I'd not likely reach dispatch as they never answer their calls. He then became verbally abusive. I listened stunned as he continued, and then just hung up.

The worst...I hired SAP for a remediation following the flood. I should have run the other way when the manager, JT, told me that his previous job was as a used car salesman because that is the exactly the service I received. All promises that turned out to be nothing but lies. The SAP crew showed up without proper tools so I went to Home Depot and purchased some tools for them and was told by JT that I would be reimbursed. I have yet to see a reimbursement. Multiple light fixtures that were not damaged in the flood went missing. A window was broken by one of the crew members and never paid for as JT told me it would be. This company is a joke. Stay away at all costs and if you do have them provide any service don't believe a word the liars JT (manger) or Scott (owner) tell you.

We were assigned this company by our home warranty. They replaced a water heater for us. They are very responsive, punctual, and organized. They did their work fast and they are very skillful. The three technicians worked with us are very friendly and knowledgeable. We are very satisfied with their work!

If I could click zero stars I would. They quoted ridiculous charges for things that do not need to be done. I spent a week trying to get a hold of a manager to discuss situation and was told over and over one would call me. Seven days later still no call. This is what I call Customer NO Service!

After a very grumpy technical showed up, he told me that the only way to fix the issue with my toilet was to replace the flush handle. Got a call nearly two weeks later stating that SAP "could not find a replacement handle and would need to replace the entire toilet."

I bought a replacement handle for $15 off Amazon (it's a standard side-mounted handle) and replaced myself.

Ridiculous suggestion from a ridiculous company.

I hate to write bad reviews but this company leaves me no choice. AHS sent this company over to repair my water heater. The first guy repairs the heater but puts a hole in my son's closet roof. He leaves that mess (drywall, the cotton insulation stuff and debris all over my son's closet and disappears). They took forever to send another guy out to repair it. This guy does the drywall repair and tells me he will be back after a week to paint the repair. This was in September 2017. Nobody has shown up since. I called them out to it and they are giving me the run around saying it the AHS's responsibility and that they do not do drywall repair anymore. AHS says it is not their responsibility either because the damage has nothing to do with the actual heater. So I requested AHS to send SAP home repair an email informing them it is their responsibility. I will wait and see what will come out of it. I do not care how long ago it was, SAP Home Repair needs to make it right. I will change my review when they make it right.

IMHO this is a major and systematic fraud operation. Their whole purpose of being to waste time, cost customer's money and fail to deliver. They came out over three times, charged each time, did not do the work and as I caught the guy sneaking into his truck he said "Call the office."

I have been dealing with sap since September of 2017. This was a American home shield choice of service company to use. Here it is June 26th 2018 and my faucet is still broken. I can not get them to complete the job or even submit the diagnosis on my repair to American home shield. I will never recommend them or let someone tell me I have to use them. They have been out at least five times to look at it and tell me that the faucet needs to be replaced. Kristen with their parts department has been totally rude and not any help at all. I have never had so much trouble in all my life. The parts manager Kristen is a real joke

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was assigned this company through my home warranty company for an issue with a water heater. I set up an appointment from 1-3 and was informed that the service provider was running behind so they moved it back from 5-7. 7 rolled around and the provider still hadn't shown up. I was never contacted about another delay or updated. I tried calling the after hours line and no one would answer. I finally got an email that said the provider was on his way after 7 and he didn't show up until almost 8. I understand that the provider needed to move the slot back the first time but showing up after the adjusted time and with out notification is completely unacceptable. I work as a paramedic (24 hour shifts) and I need to be at my job as well to make an income instead of sitting around hoping someone will show up to help me 5-7 hours late! I still haven't received a phone call to schedule my next appointment so I just called to check on things and they haven't even ordered the part to repair my water heater (which I was told was done 4 days ago). So now I wait until the part comes in, schedule another appointment, and hope someone will show up on time and not 5-7 hours late to finally fix it.
