Made a recommendation to my home warranty company without a single diagnostic activity. Literally the technician had a 1 minute conversation about the problem, without even looking in my laundry room determined the recommendation from the 2 previous plumbers was inaccurate and there was no problem. I am starting to suspect they are used by the home warranty as a way to circumvent their contractual responsibility.

I'm with American Home Shield (AHS), this company is horrible! My complaint is like the other "1" ratings already listed. The only thing I have to add is: if AHS assign this company to you, contact AHS immediately to assign another company. I've been without hot water for close to 2 weeks! I'm on the phone right now with AHS requesting another company and complaining on why they keep sending this low rated company out to customers.

I paid $1,400 to have both of my water heaters replaced, but the technician they had to install my water seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I was told money order, cashier check or cash was the preferred method of payment so I PAID my bank extra to have a cashiers check made out to them and the technician, Mike told me he couldn't accept it and took a credit card payment instead!!! Waste of money if you ask me!! If it wasn't for Jessica the office manager helping me out and explaining everything to me I'd rate a 1 star!! Mike doesn't seem experienced and to know what he was doing and I wouldn't want him back out to my home.

***DON'T USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!***

This company was scheduled to service my hot water heater on 6/14/19 between 5pm-8pm. Well at 7:50pm, there was no call or technician so I decided to call. Was told that the tech was in an accident, but no one decided to call me. So I called AHS, as this is who recommended them. Finally SAP called and said a technician will be there. He arrives and says he need to go to Home Depot to get a part and will return. He comes back and was still not able to get the pilot light to stay on. The tech then decides that the water heater is not getting gas and I needed a part ordered. Because we were without hot water, the tech said that SAP will expedite it. I called SAP Saturday for an update, and was told the part was ordered. When I asked if they will call me w/updates so that I don't have to keep calling them, the woman, Rose, got rude and hung up. Fast forward to Monday, 6/17/19 at 4:10pm, I called SAP, AGAIN, to get an update. I was told that the part was ordered and sent via ground shipping. When I asked when will it arrive, she says...if you want it expedited, it will be $30. Well if the part was already ordered and is on the way, why would I pay to expedite it. She then said, let me check on your order and comes back to say, the part was located, but not ordered. WHAT?!?!? But you just said the part was ordered. Come to find out, the part was NEVER ordered and it will take 7-10 days to come, IF I didn't pay the $30 to expedite it. This is RIDICULOUS!!! I asked why didn't anyone contact me earlier this morning to inform me of the option to expedite it. Her response...we're open until 7pm. What does that have to do with anything?? They are, by far, have the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. And they don't care! They don't act with a sense of urgency, they don't care about the customers, they lie, they don't provide updates, unless YOU call. And with good luck, you MIGHT get the truth out of them. American Home Shield need to sever all ties with this company IMMEDIATLEY.

We have SAP technician for the service on 8th june 2019 morning sent from my insurance company AHS. He did not fixed the issue. I explained to him when first he came about the issue that i went to take a shower and i just turn the handle very little and handle broke. But technician reported completely different as i used excessive force to AHS and AHS denied replacement due to wrong report from that technician. On the speakerphone i spoke with AHS front of the technician and technician told to AHS is wrong and immediately he change the wording as that was from his supervisor. I asked technician to confirm as i never said any force used by me and AHS person did not liston me at all even i clear right word front of that technician.
Also he damage my faucet handle which i can not use any more. He directly use plier on smooth handle surface and made so many big scratches while trying to open it and not able to open fully. So he kept few turns open handle as it is and left without closing back. This is totally unprofessional work.

Left us for four months without hot water, trying to replace an instant water heater with a comparable unit. Multiple units later, finally the correct one installed that I had to specify. They kept getting the compatibility wrong on the electrical, the piping or the capacity. There were too many people involved (including a home warranty company, partly to blame). When you send a different tech out over the four months, that is a problem because no one seems to be on the same page. Learning process starts anew each time. I would not recommend this company at all, and I am a Design Professional in the construction industry.

Very unprofessional, bad service - I strongly don't recommend If you are planning to use them in Austin, TX.
AMHS assign them as contractor to fix my hot water heater and starting from taking to their dispatcher over the phone who was extremely unfriendly to the technician they sent who left my house with a dripping pipe as he didn't have the tools or the means to fix it. They started the finger pointing game with AMHS about they haven't received PO yet, while I had AMHS confirming that they already sent the PO. Then they charged me $1,200 to fix pipes otherwise they wouldn't proceed with the water heater installation. A complete rip off!

Opened a request for a water heater. We had turned off pilot for safety as there was a leak. They came in. Turned the pilot on. And said another request would need to be filed and we would have to wait again for them to come out and fix our ORIGINAL ISSUE. meanwhile. Day 3. No hot water.

This company was sent by AHS and they are awful! The technician had no idea what he was doing and asked me about what needed to be done. I asked aren't you the professional? Stay away.

SHADY SHADY SHADY IS RIGHT. AHS needs to drop SAP. I just had them out to check my water heater. It needs to be replaced..thats obvious. Tech told me it would be $488 out of pocket...(so funny that was exactly the price I saw stated from another reviewer) When warranty company called me, my price went up to $800+ dollars.... almost DOUBLE! I was shocked. I told warranty service I just had a water heater replaced at our weekend home, 1 1/2 hrs away and it cost me $125. out of pocket. She looked up my previous claim (just last week) and determined... THE EXACT SAME REPAIRS WERE DONE... $125 there, $800 + from SAP.... Rep told me sorry, the company here just charges more. Seriously??? Scam Scam Scam.... RUN.

Taking cash out option from warranty, free estimates are on the way from home advisor.
