What a week ~ a major wind storm, power outage and a complicated plumbing issue all happening at the same time! The plumbing job wrapped up at the same time the power came back on. Scottie hit it out of the park once again with his workmanship and customer service. I can't thank SCZ plumbing and Scottie enough!

So two weeks after the leak was fixed and they replaced the waste and overflow, now it's leaking again where the washer between the tub and drain are.

I had requested plumbing services to install a water pressure regulator and to look at a toilet that is not flushing well and faucets that squeak when turned on. The plumber arrived at the scheduled time, I showed him the toilet and the faucets but he basically shrugged and didn't try to fix those. He then left for about 30 minutes to go pick up the water pressure regulator. He finished installing the regulator and then left without coming to the toilet or faucets. I asked how much the service was and he said I would be receiving a bill. I was pretty surprisd when I was charged for the entire time - including the 30 minutes he left to pick up the part. I had requested that a water pressure regulator so was confused as to why the plumber didn't arrive with the part and why I had to pay the $150 per hour for him to pick up the part. So $400 for a 1.5 hour job (30 minutes for him to pick up the part). And my toilet still doesn't flush properly and the faucets still squeal ... I am disappointed in the service I was provided.

Very happy with this company. Everything was very smooth from booking appointment by phone to the plumber being right on time. Scottie easily diagnosed the problem we were having with our toilet and replaced the parts needed in record time. He wore a mask (goes without saying at this point in the pandemic) and was very unobtrusive considering the bathroom was near our main living area. He wiped the floor of any water spilled while fixing the toilet which is not the experience I've had with other plumbers. Highly recommend and will call Santa Cruz Plumbing for all of our future plumbing needs!

I have had raccoon problems recently and apparently, one of the very big ones must have used the outdoor faucets to brace itself and water was leaking out of the pipe. Zach found the pipe it was spewing from and explained how the water was coming out and that the raccoon may well have done this.

He also pointed out that my extra-large hose might be contributing, and suggested I get a smaller, more narrow one to bring in less pressure. Zach was very polite, efficient and pin-pointed the problem right away. I had actually turned the water off this past night because of the spray that kept coming out. I am going to take his suggestion and get a more narrow hose, as mine has taken a lot of water and pressure. I was very relieved that I did not have to have my pipes replaced!

I called late in the afternoon and spoke with Anne, she was super friendly and got me an appointment for the next morning. I got a call from Dan shortly before my appointment to let me know Zach was on his way and he showed up right on time. I was very impressed with how courteous and helpful Zach was during the whole time he was doing his job. He was super patient and explained everything as he went. Turned out to be a little more difficult then expected but he didn't give up. Tim came out to lend a hand and they got it done. So thankful to have a working toilet again and grateful to everyone at SC Plumbing! Will highly recommend, amazing customer service!!
