We had a plumbing leak that resulted in us having to have the house re-piped. Pipes were old, it was time. While the folks at Santa Cruz Plumbing were very courteous and always came on time, they unfortunately did not do the job right. The first mistake was putting the old wax seal back on and the toilet the next day leaked...well, you can guess what came out of the toilet all over the bathroom floor. Disgusting! They did take some off the bill for that, but it should not have happened. They only cost about $5 bucks. The second mistake was when they scratched the brand new trim kit for the bathroom we were remodeling. While they replaced it at no cost, later that night I tried to take a shower and the water would not shut off because they put it back on wrong. We had to turn the water off and because it was a Friday, we had to go all weekend with no shower. They came back to fix it at no charge, and then soon after the same thing happened, again, and then again. This seemed what was a simple putting on of a new trim/valve kit. We had to fix it 2 more times after that just to discover that when they put it in, they put it in with a missing part and put in the wrong part and that is why it kept coming loose. As I write this we are fixing it yet again so we can turn our hot water back on. I can understand a simple mistake, but there were just too many.

Saul Castro & Domingo Ferreira from Santa Cruz plumbing were so professional. Right on time and when the project turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, they just worked harder and knocked it out. They were nothing but gracious and kind. can't say i've ever been this impressed before. Highly recommend. SC plumbing is my go to from now on.

We had a main drain clog with the bathtub backed up.  S.C. Plumbing was able to schedule a visit the next day. Scottie diagnosed the problem and the plumbing layout and they were in and out in a half hour, with the clog cleared. Excellent and friendly service.

I was very pleased with the service I received on a recent water heater replacement at my home. When my heater started to empty itself onto my garage floor, Chayne arrived, shut off the water and emptied the tank. He was a pleasant young man who was easy to work with. Since the unit was still under warranty, I was especially pleased when Ann in the SC Plumbing office went to bat for me to obtain a replacement without charge. She followed up when the company who sold the original unit seemed reluctant to honor the warranty. Chayne and helper Mac replaced the unit with efficiency and at a reasonable price. I will call this local company for future plumbing needs.

Loved that he arrived wearing a mask & shoe coverings. Very Very nice person (I think his name was Scottie). He was very helpful, kind, & professional. Completed the job amazingly fast. The cost was way lower than I thought it would be. I have to say that I am extremely happy with this company. I will definitely be using them in the future & would recommend them to anyone.

I have worked with Santa Cruz Plumbing twice, once to replace my old water heater and once to repair the hose connection to my washing machine. The water heater was replaced efficiently and with excellent service from Shane. The washing machine issue was fixed in less than 30 minutes by switching the hot and cold water hoses, which hadn't been installed properly. I have been happy with the prompt and effective service. However, the fee for a 30 minute visit in which the hoses were quickly switched cost $130, which is the minimum that is charged for a home visit. This felt like a very high charge for a simple job that did not require installing new parts.

Great company in Santa Cruz CA. We called a few other plumbing places around town any many never even bothered to get back to us or just had a recording. Had a problem with the gas control valve on our hot water heater for our rental in Felton CA. Pilot light did not stay lit. SC Plumbing picked up the phone and had a tech guy come out the same day. Part was put in the next day. My 9 year old hot water tank hopefully will last a little longer. With the extra hard water in Felton who knows how long It will last. So nice to have a company you can depend on in the Santa Cruz area these days.

What a week ~ a major wind storm, power outage and a complicated plumbing issue all happening at the same time! The plumbing job wrapped up at the same time the power came back on. Scottie hit it out of the park once again with his workmanship and customer service. I can't thank SCZ plumbing and Scottie enough!
