I have used two other plumbing companies in Santa Cruz, and was horrified at the price and slow service. Just the opposite with Santa Cruz Plumbing. Answer their phones promptly; in one emergency got someone there within 45 minutes, and for unusual plumbing issues on an old house, they have been terrific and reasonable cost. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Not only is Tim incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of plumbing, he is one of the nicest guys you will meet. Definitely two wrenches up for Santa Cruz Plumbing!

Called a different plumbing co first and was told they could get here the next day or the day after. Made an appointment for the next day and stayed home from work to meet them. Then they called and said the tech was sick and they could come out 2 days later. So, then I called Santa Cruz Plumbing. They sent someone out 2 hours later and now, 3 hours after my call, my toilet is fixed. The price was about half of what I expected it to be. The woman I spoke to on the phone was friendly and professional. The technician, Scotty, was great. I highly recommend this company.

Unfortunately, I can't review their work because after 4 attempts to get an estimate, I'm giving up. One of their employees came to my house to look at a job to run gas from the meter to the fireplace. He said I would receive an estimate later that day or by the next morning. I received an email estimate later that day BUT it was for a water heater, not a gas line. I replied to the email asking for the gas line estimate. No reply. Waited a day and sent another email. No reply. Waited another day and left a voicemail message asking for the estimate. No reply. Sent one last email request for the gas line estimate and guess what?? No reply. I've moved on to another local company who has been extremely responsive and customer service oriented.

I have had need of a plumber twice in the last several months and was lucky enough to have called Expert Plumbing. Mo arrived on time and did an excellent job installing a new kitchen faucet and a new garbage disposal. He was very professional and was happy to explain what he was doing. Their prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of their work. I will be calling them again soon to install a new water heater. It is reassuring to be able to rely on and trust true professionals like Talal and Mo.
