Unfortunately, I can't review their work because after 4 attempts to get an estimate, I'm giving up. One of their employees came to my house to look at a job to run gas from the meter to the fireplace. He said I would receive an estimate later that day or by the next morning. I received an email estimate later that day BUT it was for a water heater, not a gas line. I replied to the email asking for the gas line estimate. No reply. Waited a day and sent another email. No reply. Waited another day and left a voicemail message asking for the estimate. No reply. Sent one last email request for the gas line estimate and guess what?? No reply. I've moved on to another local company who has been extremely responsive and customer service oriented.

I have had need of a plumber twice in the last several months and was lucky enough to have called Expert Plumbing. Mo arrived on time and did an excellent job installing a new kitchen faucet and a new garbage disposal. He was very professional and was happy to explain what he was doing. Their prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of their work. I will be calling them again soon to install a new water heater. It is reassuring to be able to rely on and trust true professionals like Talal and Mo.

These guys came to my sisters house to do some work. While they were there she texted me pictures of what they were doing and called me with some concerns. I hold plumbing contractor licenses in both California and in North Carolina where I am now hence not being there. After looking at pics and then talking to their technician it became clear that he was not very experienced. When I called the company I told the owner that we were not happy and asked him to send out someone who was competent. Right away he became very combative, almost yelling at me. He began telling me how what I was saying was not true and how the issues I had "" were not even in the code book"". Unfortunately he does not understand that codes are written as minimum standards not quality standards. He then began to challenge me asking if I was there on the job and how could I know what was going on. When I told him I had pictures and had talked to his tech he was dismissive. When I asked him if this was really his customer service, he really lost it. I had to hang up on him because he would not stop railing at me. It is unfortunate to see people with anger issues in the service industry. As a plumbing contractor myself who has nearly 20 years in the trade I say shame on you Santa Cruz plumbing you should earn your customers business not just with excellent craftsmanship but more importantly with stellar customer service, turns out you lack both. At the end of the day even if my concerns where unfounded and wrong you should never treat you customers like this.

Punctual and reliable service. Joe worked hard and did an outstanding job clearing a difficult clog in our sewer line and didn't spend a bunch of time trying to upsell on optional, more expensive services. The price of service was reasonable and as quoted over the phone prior to service. Will very happily call Santa Cruz plumbing again.

Excellent! We lost our water heater last night. I called 4 plumbing companies, but as soon as I mentioned that our water heater was in a cellar with stairs, they all turned me down. Santa Cruz Plumbing asked the right question: ""Is this your primary residence? (Yes) Then we'll find a way to get it done for you.""

Mario and Joe were dispatched from a commercial job, showed up, removed the old water heater and installed the new one-same day!! They were professional, efficient, friendly, and demonstrated care for our home. Thank you Mario, Joe, and Santa Cruz Plumbing!

Well to start, they did a wonderful job installing a new large water heater. It was expensive but with the hot water we had it was great. Now 11 months later later, the water heater is leaking (a fixture where they connected the water heater to the line) and the leak filled up the bottom essentially shutting down the water heater. So it's 5:10 on a Friday with family in town and find that according to their voice mail, they no longer offer emergency service.

So I spend $3,000+ for a high end water heater and now without hot water till Monday after 11 months of usage. I was worried that I'd have to find someone else who i was afraid would try to sell,is an entire new water heater.

UPDATE: Saturday morning Chris calls. He saw the original yelp review and wanted to see what he could do to fix my problem. Was very helpful and confirmed a work around to keep the water heater going until they can get out here on Monday.

So I've changed my review based on his professional response and we'll get it fixed attitude. We'll see how the repair goes but I now have the highest expectations it will go according to plan. So, 4 stars for now only because they had to discontinue the emergency service (at least for now).

Update. As expected they were there b time, took full responsibility and fixed the problem - no charge. These guys rock!

Chris and his team at SC Plumbing are awesome! I moved into a home with no washer/dryer... Chris gave me a quick efficient bid and then was back out within a few days to do the work. He got it done faster than promised and under budget. I didn't even need to stay home while he did the work, came back and everything was exactly the way it should be and cleaned up as well. I appreciate your guys hard work! Will definitely use you again.

I needed to replace the old water heater tank in my mothers house. After doing a bit of research, I decided to go with a tankless water heater. I called around a few local plumbers in the area based off of Yelp reviews and after meeting with several companies, I decided on Santa Cruz Plumbing to complete this job. I initially spoke with Chris, who came by and assessed our existing plumbing and was able to give me a firm bid on the job that was lower than what other companies could do. There was a fair amount of plumbing work that had to be done for this job, being that I was removing an old beat up water heater and installing this new modern tankless unit on the wall opposite of where the old tank sat (outside). There was a long distance gas run that had to be done under the house as well, and the crawl space entrance was only accessible from the opposite end of the house, making the job a bit labor intensive. Cameron and an associate came by and were able to complete the job in 2 days, and now we have continuous hot water in the house without any worry of losing heat with our new tankless heater. Very professional company and I would highly recommend Santa Cruz Plumbing for any plumbing needs.
