I called Norman to help us access our bathroom repair. He promptly arrived on time, wearing his mask and practiced the 6ft social distancing. He looked and evaluated the problem. His experience, knowledge, honesty and sincerity was greatly appreciated! He was able to diagnose and show me why the tile and subfloor was an issue and he put me at ease knowing I did not have to do a whole remodel. He also did not charge me for his time, which I was willing to do! He is a true rare gem!!

I moved into a new house and needed a ceiling fan and light fixture installed. I called San Mateo Hamdyman and Ray came out a few days later and did an amazing job. He hardwired the fan and spent a lot of extra time making sure the fan operated without any vibration. Most importantly, he was incredibly accommodating to my schedule and is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guy. Highly recommend Ray for all your handyman needs!

We had a bathroom remodel that our contractors were not able to complete correctly. Door and door frame were not completed, the electrical was a mess and they had sealed up the walls before completing the electrical.

We found Norm on Yelp as ""San Mateo Handyman."" He came over and walked us through what we would need to get done. We hired a licensed electrician who completed and fixed our electrical issue.

Once that was complete, Norm came back and finished all the wall patching, texturing, installing our door frame, and paint.

The work turned out great, and my wife and I are relieved to finally have our home put back together.

He also cleaned everything up as if he was never there.

Great experience with Norman. The tenants homes he worked on and I loved how polite, professional and great his communication was. Phenomenal job with the installation of our Camera/Light fixture and it was all done in a really timely fashion. What stood out to me the most with Norman was his No Surprises attitude. He prepared me for the possible work that would be done with the possible costs before he came on the property which really helped when it came to deciding what handyman to go with.
