I had gone through a number of rooter services to address an issue i had regarding a main line blockage. I had to have a clean-out line installed as my property did not have one. They were charging exorbitant amounts. I called San Jose plumbing and they gave me a very reasonable quote, came in a day later and finished the job in a couple of hours and everything's been working great!

Great service, reasonable prices, quick and efficient. Will contact them again for any plumbing needs

Two years ago, we called San Jose Plumbing to have a new kitchen faucet installed. Kevin came out and was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Soon after fixing the kitchen sink, we called to have a hand shower installed in our roman tub, where there was not one before. Kevin came out again and did the job for us. It was a pretty involved job that took most of the day Saturday and we were very thankful he gave us a good discount on all his labor.

Having had great experiences in the past, I knew exactly who to call for my leaky faucet! Kevin came out today and fixed it lickity split. In fact, the faucet now turns smoother and better than ever. I feel like Kevin takes the extra step to do the job the RIGHT way (which is hard to find). He also gave us a really fair price. Nice to finally stop that drip (we're in a drought you know!)!

Had a kitchen faucet go out on a Saturday. The kind lady on the phone sent Don over within the hour. Don is a polite, nice, and expert plumber who quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me good advice on where to buy a replacement.

Although I hope I have no more plumbing issues, I'll gladly do business with San Jose plumbing again.

We were doing a complete remodel of our kitchen and needed a plumber to do all the new plumbing and reconnects. Phil Marcus came out for an initial estimate and was very thorough and patient in explaining what all that need to be done.. The estimate was very reasonable. After we decided to have San Jose Plumbing to do the work, Phil again was there on time and did a fantastic job. He was very professional and efficient. I plan to call them again in the future for any plumbing needs.

I am not very smart about plumbing so I felt pretty comfortable with the leak fix. I feel the price was a little high for the short stop but hey...no more leaks.

I did not shop around though.

Adam and Cesar in particular are both very knowledgeable and have great service-oriented attitudes. Cesar recently came in and fixed a couple of sink issues that required some advanced plumbing skills and allowed him to shine in comparison to others.

I'd give zero stars if I could. San Jose Plumbing did a shoddy job repairing a leaking ice maker line in my home several months ago. Now, my kitchen floor is completely ruined and I have thousands of dollars worth of water damage to fix because the ice maker line has been leaking undetected under the floor for months. I had a ""real"" plumber come out to fix the leak and they were shocked at the shoddy workmanship of the previous repair. San Jose Plumbing should pay for the repairs to my floor and the pipes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Worst service ever! I would rate this place 0 stars if I could.

We have used SJ plumbing in the past when our water heater needed replacing 4 years ago. That transaction went really well however a year later the pipe they used started leaking and there was significant water pooling in the water heater. The plumber just soaked up the water with the sponge and say it was fine. Little did we know it was not....

Now fast forward 3 years later the water heater stops working! We called them to come in on Saturday but they charged time and half for every hour spend on your house so we scheduled for Monday. They call us Monday to say they were unable to make it out till Tuesday. When they finally showed up on Tuesday they opened up the water heater and there everything was rusted! He said we needed to take a picture of the inside and send it to the manufacturer (Rheem) which was a headache dealing with their technical support (FYI, never talk to Rheem, make sure to let the plumber/technician deal with them or they'll screw you over with even though the water heater is under a 6 year warranty...we learned the hard way). Adrian left us with the water heater taken apart. He wasn't even at our place for 10 minutes! We called Adrian to tell him we needed him to come back and talk to Rheem because they needed to ""check"" certain things to troubleshoot why the water heater wasn't working. Sure enough Adrian never even called us or came back!

We were so frustrated and ended up calling Water Heater Only and sure enough they came over within an hour. They suggested to change out the water heater unit because it was so corroded from the water damage from the burst pipe 3 years ago. Water heater only was able to replaced our water heater in less than 2 hours. They also clued us in that Rheem customer service tries to make the homeowner ""diagnose"" the problem by taking the water heater unit apart so it voids the 6 year warranty.

If we had waited for Adrian to come back we probably would still be without hot water!

I had the misfortune to use this company. The owner is arrogant and not a good plumber. I hired him to fix a leak in my bathroom. He came and worked for several hours, charging me several hundred dollars. A few days later it was leaking again, in the same place. I called him to come back to fix the leak that I had paid him to fix and he told me that what he fixed wasn't leaking and that I had to pay him again to fix it. When I told him that it was leaking in the same place as before he accused me of ripping him off and only wanting to get work for free.
I hired another plumber who did fix the leak and had to repair the work that San Jose plumbing had done.
I would never use this company again and caution any one else from using them

I will give a five for service and nice people, but........my issue is back after a short while. After waiting quite some time for the ""special part""....I am not excited to have to wait again.

The thing is, I do not have any special fixtures, I live in very basic and cookie cutter townhome (lest you think I am a tech multimillion airing my gripes...nope....just like you).

So - 5 for the nice people
1 for the fix
