I had a good experience for a small problem we had where one of our pipes had a small leak that was showing through our first floor ceiling, about 18 inches in diameter.

To summarize everything:
- Gave them a call on a Monday
- They had someone come out that day to inspect the issue.
- They came back the next day, cut a hole in the ceiling, further inspected the pipe, then went to a hardware store to get the proper parts.
- They cut off the necessary pieces, and replaced + welded everything they needed to, which took about 1.5 hours.
- The person who I scheduled with, and the person who performed the work were both pleasant to work with.
- They offered to have someone else come in to patch the hole in the ceiling (paining not included) but I denied that service as I wanted to get a few other drywall repairs done through a different party.
- The charges for the labor was fair
- There was a small billing issue, but they were quick to resolve it.

Raul in San Jose Plumbing is very skilled and responsive. We had a leak in the underground pipe somewhere and he suggested replacing the pipe from water meter to the house. We took his suggestion and inquired if we should re-pipe the entire house as well. He went down to the cross-base and told us that no re-pipe is necessary as the pipes under the house are all copper, except some places may need some small fixes. His team acted quickly and got the jog done timely.

I had a shower faucet that had a slow leak and figured that the cartridge had died. San Jose plumbing sent a gentleman named Julio on Saturday to estimate and fix. Julio got a new cartridge and had the work done quickly and well.
The estimate he gave me was 350 which was 10% of what the Angi recommended plumber wanted. (No error - 3500 bucks)
This was.my second call to this company and I unreservedly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

San Jose Plumbing just finished my main water line, installed a new water softner, reinforced a kitchen and toilet drain, installed two faucets and quarter turn shut off valves. Price is competitive, especially for the quality service and guaranteed work. The family business does a very good management job, ensures quality work, and straightshooters (honest)! They are my ""goto"" plumbing service!

San Jose Plumbing has been our plumbing company of choice for over 12 years. Either Kevin Garza or one of his co-workers has kept the plumbing service in our 70 year old home working to perfection. Drain cleaning service, copper pipe repair, main house shutoff valve replacement, emergency same day water heater replacement, two kitchen sink faucets, under sink garbage disposal, two bathroom faucets and valve maintenance for two showers. Excellent attention to detail, especially hard to reach spaces. If you want reliable plumbing repair at a fair price and want it repaired right, please consider San Jose Plumbing. If you aren't familiar with fixtures, let them know you would like their help to select something. High price and name brand isn't always required. Kevin replaced an expensive 2 year old, Delta kitchen faucet (my purchase) with a Home Depot Glacier Bay brand. Best faucet I've ever had. Attractive and functional.

Especially in the Bay Area, it has become extremely hard to find good, skilled help for house repairs. San Jose Plumbing has been a god-send for all my plumbing needs over the past 10+ years.
I first used them in 2013 and as recently as Feb 2023. I have always wanted to leave a review but was too lazy - my wife stayed on my case this time till I did it for a very deserving plumber.
Kevin did most of the work for me - excellent manners, very experienced (decades), goes well beyond what is asked to be done, reasonable charges - fixed wax ring for toilet, replaced cartridges in faucets, flush repair, etc.

My water heater went out with water pouring into the garage. The office dispatched a tech and the new water heater was installed a few hours later. Great service and the price was fair.

Adam came 2h late to assess onsite job (sink replacement in kitchen + filtration water). Despite being late with no heads-up, he clearly explained what needed to be done. Said he will send a quote within a week. So far so good.
Then total ghosting: I called 3 times the office 2 weeks apart each time to follow up on the quote, sent him text messages. Even asked in my last call to let me know if Adam is not interested in pursuing this work. Well, still nothing.
