I had a problem with a water heater spouting out water from the top hose, and this happened at about 8:00 PM on a Wednesday. I called San Jose Drain and Main and Giovanni patiently listened to my explanation (even though it was way past closing hours) and instructed me to shut off the water heater first. I sent him a video in the meantime showing how and where the water was coming out and he explained that I probably just needed to change the hose, and that if I could do that, I wouldn't need his services.

Who does that anymore these days?!?! THANK YOU SO MUCH, Giovani, for being an honest guy and not try to make a quick buck out of me.

Called them for a leaky kitchen faucet. They were very busy so it would be three days before they can come, however, they listened to the ""symptoms"" and diagnosed our problem by phone and we were able to fix it ourselves. While we didn't use them this time, I trust them to take care of all our future needs. Really customer focused rather than trying to get us with diagnostic fees, etc. They won me over!

Excellent service, price, and professionalism.
My kitchen sink was backed up for the umpteenth time (house is over 50 years old) and my usual quick fixes didn't work. I called San Jose Drain and Main, and after running the snake, it still didn't clear. Found out it was because the pipes under the house had corroded and finally cracked open. What started out as a simple job turned into replacing the corroded pipes under the house.

Giovanni and Sam fixed it on time, explained everything along the way, and didn't mind that my dog wanted to help them.
Actually my dog really liked them - which is a good sign.

I highly recommend SJD&M. If ever I have a plumbing problem, I wouldn't call anyone else but them.

These guys are very knowledgeable about residential plumbing problems. I had a clogged toilet accompanied by a slow draining shower. I tried a plunger and toilet auger and neither had any effect. I was afraid I had roots growing into my pipes. When Sam and Jovare arrived they determined rather quickly that it was probably not a root issue. They used their longer and more powerful auger and had our problem fixed in a couple of hours at a reasonable cost. I will definitely use these guys again for any future plumbing problems.

I want to give them a high score for their customer service. I am very sad that they are so booked, but they were very sweet to provide me with a contact I can call for immediate help. If they would answer a random call past business hours, their services must be top notch...

I don't write reviews. This is my first. But had to write about these guys because they are a good business. My main line was backed up with a very slow drain. Spoke with Giovanni on the phone and he explained the potential cost (phone quote and explained two sets of costs based on what access they had). Giovanni and his crew came out. Professional guys, knowledgeable, and friendly. Gave me a heads up on some improvements but no hard sell. Did the work for the quoted price and quick. Showed me the problem and explained potential future problems and how to avoid them. Great overall experience and would highly recommend for any plumbing issues.

Those guys did an outstanding job. They tried several ways to unclog one of the main drain pipes from my kitchen and through their persistence were able to successfully get the job done. If I could give them 6 stars I would. They arrived when they said they would, and got right to work. I would recommend. Thanks Guys!
