Due to some DYI project that caused some minor leaking from my shower, I called San Jose Drain and Main to help resolve the problem. Giovonni answered my call and was able to come out and fix the issue the next day.

I really appreciate that Giovonni and Daniel listened fully to the problems I was experiencing and provided expert service to address the leaks. I would definitely recommend San Jose Drain and Main for plumbing. They are attentive, considerate, professional, and caring. I feel their price was reasonable for the work they did. And just as another reviewer mentioned, they provided me with suggestions on areas I can improve my home to prevent future leaks. I am so glad I made the call.

These guys are AMAZING.
Things that make them fantastic:
1. They've all been articulate, funny, respectful, and knowledgeable
2. They actually help resolve the problem instead of just waiting for me to tell them what to do like some of the other people I've had here to do work (""Something is wrong, what do you want us to do?"" only makes me ask ""Why do you think I know the answer?!"") and they've made helpful and proactive suggestions when they noticed I had another issue or asked them a question. I cannot overstate the value of this.
3. They answer the phone and show up (it's a low bar set by the rest of the industry), and then do so with great attitudes and when I need them!

I will never hire another plumber unless I have no choice. They are the first company amongst the flooring, electric, pest control, plumbing, etc etc that I have actually felt happy and comfortable with.

Today, I called Giovanni because I had a leak courtesy of disconnecting the washer and they made time to come over and help me as soon as they could. The guys were so nice, really helpful, and made sure the job was done and I was happy.

You will absolutely be happy if you hire these guys!

We had te worst back up we have ever had at the house, slow ruuning drains, toilet backed up into the shower...yuck. Then I noticed a had a green oasis of grass growing on my SJ Brown lawn, it was squishy and ""muddy"", somethings broken... Time to get serious, came to Yelp to find the fix and saw the pics of Giovanni fixing all kinds of stuff. Called him mid Morning he came out 12:30. Got right into it, after an hour the clog was gone and my city clean out was uncovered and clear of a tree root.. He is the real deal, great guy, knowledgeable, experienced, hard working and most importantly honest. I've had other ""drain guys"" to the house and though things were fixed, you wonder. I know I'll need this type of service again and I'll call SJ Drain and Main up 1st thing without hesitation.

After reviewing all of the reviews online and talking to different plumbing and sewer repair companies by phone, I chose San Jose Drain and Main. Like one of the reviews said, I also feel like I ""struck gold!"" Giovani and his team (Sam and Danny) punctually came to our house, and as promised, their first order of priority was to unplug our drain and sewer clog issues by cleaning our main line from the roof vent hole. After then, Giovani took time to assess the installation of a house clean out system as recommended by many of the other sewer and plumbing repair companies and himself earlier. Due to the way our house sewage line is situated (under concrete walk ways), Giovani explained what would entail to installing a house clean out system vs. a city clean out system. Giovani did not push us to make a decision right away; rather, he allowed us the opportunity to consider his recommendation, and think through all of the advantages and disadvantages. We appreciated Giovani's patience to explain and his respect for us to make our own decisions. Since our two toilets were also not functioning properly, I asked Sam for a recommendation. Like Giovani, Sam gave me the recommendation, but also tirelessly explained why certain toilets are better than the others. I have had sewer and drain issues at our house before; however, we have never met any professional and skillful certified plumbers like Giovani, Sam, and Danny. I highly recommend San Jose Drain and Main without any hesitation. You can not go wrong with the pro team Giovani has!!!

My kitchen sink was old and it was time to replace. After do some research I found ""San Jose Drain and Main"" has five star, so I made a call this Saturday morning.

Giovani came this afternoon and finished the job. Giovani is very professional and enthusiasm. He did a wonderful job.

The service from SJ Drain and Main was great. Came today, Saturday, fairly quickly after my initial call and resolved the clogged upstairs toilet issue we could not fix in our own. The fix took some effort and some muscle but in the end we were saved from having to buy a new toilet. We would happily use SJ Drain and Main again.

Seriously, go straight to these guys. They saved me a TON of money and did a great on the spot job. No hidden costs, no games. Several other 5 star yelp plumbers came out and gave me insanely high estimates. Sam, from SJ Drain and Main, fit me in to his schedule, gave me a fair price and installed my sink on the spot.

Have been using him here in San Jose because I have no one else but my kids and he did such a great job. I trusted him enough and asked him to do my parents plumbing all the way in Tracy, he accepted thank good! Amazing service and I am still using him. This week I needed him to get my sink working. On a Saturday afternoon our rental property was having issues with drainage problems as the toilets and showers were clogged. Giovani was contacted after reading his stellar Yelp reviews and he showed up as soon as he could and snaked out the sewer line. Giovani and his crew are the best! He answered his cell on a Sunday when we had a plumbing emergency because of tree roots in the sewer line even though he does not work on Sundays. On Monday, when his snake, due to what in the end turned out to be incorrectly positioned piping under a toilet, came up through the toilet and broke it, he immediately replaced the toilet at his own cost and did not charge for his work that day. He completed a cleanout valve for us and has done other work in the meantime. He is more than fair, honest, very professional, pleasant, and extremely reasonable. We will most gladly rely on San Jose Drain and Main for our future plumbing needs.
