I just called this company few hours ago. I explained to the women who picked up that I changed the capacitor but my motor for the air handler is bad, and I pulled out the motor but I am not confident to put the new motor in myself and I want someone to replace the motor. She went and ask someone and then told me the technician can came in for the diagnosis for 99$ plus technician charges and they can not warranty anything as I remove the motor. I tried again and she rudely told me have a nice day. I am homeowner and there is no need to check anything I know motor is bad and I want you to install a new motor, there is no warranty, the builder install the HVAC. She seem to imply they own my HVAC system. This was the first website popped up in the search and it says commercial but they do repair for home owner. I really don't understand if its a real business or not.

Last week, two technicians came out to look at an AC unit that was not working. Before they had even checked out the unit, one of the men started telling me about a special to replace all three units in my house (including two units that are functioning perfectly). I said no thank you and the technician started looking at the unit. After a while, he told me about several problems with the unit and that a part would be needed to attempt the repair. He then told me that because of the age of my unit, the part was not available and that replacement was the only option. He tried to schedule a "comfort specialist" to come out and give me a bid. Instead, I called another company who came out today and fixed the problem without issue. I wanted a repair, but instead got a sales pitch. Thanks for nothing.

Most people do not understand how heating and cooling systems work. It's quite easy to be taken advantage of if you don't or know anyone that does. Car mechanics have a bad reputation. AC techs are even worse in my opinion. Especially when the techs get a percent of the billing which I am led to believe is the case here from a conversation with their second technician after he tried justifying the high prices to afford his tools. Maybe they just have a high hourly rate but I didn't get that impression from it.

First tech said he couldn't diagnose our system because it was frozen inside the evaporator coils. They would have to come back tomorrow. They could have just turned on the furnace and the pump would dispose of the water. He didn't even try. The system was already off for several hours. They charged us for the visit and said another tech will come out the next day, to which he was of course several hours late.
Next tech was even worse. He said he couldn't put a gauge on my line since it was raining. I couldn't believe it. He used his freon leak detecting wand inside and just hovered it over my evaporator coil box while it was closed. That's not how you find a freon leak, yet he wanted to bill me again for finding a leak. Evaporator coils are not a small part yet he wanted to just replace the entire thing despite never taking off the door, never using his wand to find the general location of the leak and then using leak detector fluid to pinpoint the location. This is how you find a leak in order to fix it. Most likely it will be at the txv valve, which can be replaced by itself(or even just the weld) and not the entire coil, thus saving you a huge amount of money.

This company will also continue to call you, even after you refuse their suggested work. They will call and act like you have an appointment setup for maintenance on your system, despite never signing up for such an event. They will even tell you the date that it is setup for, like someone in your household arranged it. If you have more than one person living in your household, this can be quite confusing.
I would have forgotten all about writing this review if it wasn't for that phone call.

Spent 7000$ new AC unit then after 6 months said pump was bad that wasn't replaced? Bad customer service . Once the technician showed up they said I had to replace the pump and charged 475$. This item was never mentioned with my new install ! Very disappointed ! Joe Mendoza latch drive

My central air went out 430pm 95+ degrees outside. I called several big-name ac repair companies all advertising 24/7 techs and repairs. I couldn't get any out till the next day so I tried calling San Antonio Air and give them a try. Within a couple hours a tech had come out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Prices were really decent. The AC Tech Joe Delamontanya was Professional, Polite, and Quick. I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to my friends.
