Eric from Sami's Plumbing is my Prince Eric, not even kidding. In a moment of clumsiness, I dropped an expensive Tiffany's diamond stud earring down below the drain of my bathroom sink this morning. After my landlord let me know the contractor she usually calls charges $100 just for a service call, I asked to find my own person, then started combing through reviews on Yelp, and hoping to find someone who could help ASAP (the two calls I tried before calling Sami's wouldn't come until the next day in the afternoon). Eric answered my call, let me know he was happy to help and might not even charge me (he didn't! thank you SO, SO MUCH!), and would call after he'd finished what he was currently working on. Not long after, he did, and let me know he'd be over in about 15 minutes. He even put up with the impossible parking situation in my apartment complex (lots of construction, and almost no visitor parking anyway). It took him about 10 minutes (probably fewer) from start to finish, when he got the earring out and handed it back to me. It's not a traditional, nor especially complicated job, but his friendliness and willingness to take care of the issue right away and to be kind enough not to charge me is more than enough for me to never call anyone else again, regardless of the issue, particularly since he was well-equipped to handle whatever I could have called about. I have used him twice this past year, and both times, he offered cost savings alternatives and did quality work. All told, he fixed and upgraded a half dozen items, ranging from leaking pipes and faucets to fused valves. He also did a good job of surveying and commenting on future plumbing risks.

Eric was extremely prompt, professional, and worked hard to finish the gas pipe job. He explained everything that he was doing so we fully understood what he was working on and the steps he will take. He provided superior customer service and advice. Although this was the first time we met him for the service but we can clearly experience that he knows the gas pipe job very well. I spoke with few gas pipe certified professionals and felt Eric was the most knowledgeable to work on the residential gas line.

Fantastic service and extremely professional. I initially reached out on Yelp and Eric responded within a couple of hours to setup a visit to take a look at the backed up kitchen sink. Upon inspection, he provided a rate card with pricing to perform the work. Every step of the process was professional and most importantly... he fixed the problem! Highly recommend and definitely will be a repeat customer for any future plumbing need.

We are in the process of buying a home and our inspector recommended that we get a plumber to scope the sewer pipes to see if we had Orangeburg pipes (horrible if you do). After calling around, Eric was able to give me a very reasonable price and, even better, he was able to come the next day so we could get the pipes looked at before our inspection deadline.

After his subcontractor proved to be difficult about timing, Eric himself rented the necessary equipment in order to meet our right deadline. When he showed up, pipe angles were an issue and he did everything including getting up on the roof to finally be able to look at the pipes.

Eric went above and beyond and he will certainly be getting my business in the future. Polite, professional, great advice, and made it happen. What more could you want?

I had a great experience with Eric from Sami's Plumbing. He snaked out a bathtub and a sink for us last week then I called him back to snake our laundry pipe. Shows up promptly, calls right back, diligent, knows his stuff, doesn't waste time, reasonable prices, is very personable. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Have only the best things to say about Eric and Sami's Plumbing. He came the same day we called to unclog a sewer line - it was a Saturday!. Efficient and thorough, polite and responsive. Then two days later I dropped my mother's diamond ring down the sink. Total panic - called Eric, he was there within a half-hour, recovered the ring, no big deal, right? Wrong it was a very big deal to me - I was in tears. Thank you Eric. We will never use another plumber!

I have contacted several companies to get a quote for the installation of a faucet and garbage disposal in the kitchen. I got about 6-8 estimates, and they were all in the range of $200-$400. This company gave me an estimate of $960.

I contacted them wondering that maybe they were including the faucet and the garbage disposal items in the quote (even if that were the case it was still pretty high) but to my surprise they said that they are not, the price was only for the installation. I contacted again and told them that their quote was like 3 times more than the rest, but I didn't get any replies.

Total rip-off. I guess they just take advantage of people who don't check with other companies or don't know too much about installation fees.

Stay far way and look somewhere else.

FANTASTIC 5+ star service! Having recently built a home from the ground up, I've interacted with at least 35+ different home-service providers in the last year and have never been compelled to write a review -- or been this pleased. Sami's is clearly an honestly run company and beyond refreshing to do work with. Rates were VERY reasonable and competitive with other service providers (believe me, I've done the field research on this).

TLDR Preview:If you're researching plumbers, you probably have a time sensitive issue and aren't browsing reviews for kicks. You just found your plumber -- good luck!

Longer version: Had a very significant leak coming through a garage wall, which I thought may have been our fault for not ""winterizing"" early enough. In theory, this would be an out-of-pocket expense and not covered by the builder, so contacted Sami's (based on Yelp reviews - thanks!). Got an immediate call back from Eric and a SAME DAY service visit (whaaat?! unheard of).

Turns out, it wasn't a frozen/burst pipe, but a builder-installation error.... grrrrr. Eric could have easily done the repair and taken my money, but instead strongly encouraged me to bring this to our builder's attention first, since they should be accountable and responsible for the repair. He even wrote some notes for me to share with them! I was so impressed by his honesty and quality of work -- would/will definitely use Sami's again!
