My home insurance company called them to replace a water heater. My coverage included the new unit and installation, however they charged me over $700 in ""upgrades."" I have asked them 4 times to show me what they did for that amount, and four times I have been ignored. I don't think they can justify it and therefore won't communicate. I have told my insurance company to take them off their list of service providers.

We had a leaky bathtub faucet that was quickly filling buckets with hot water. We contacted this company and they said that they could come on a Tuesday between 12-2. This was fine. We just asked that they wear a mask and come through the garage, plus call us when they were on their way. This is where they get the 4 stars because they were very responsive and respectful of our wishes.

Jimmy was the person who came out. He was very nice and determined that our cartridge just needed to be replaced. My problem came a few days later when we realized that the water came out molten lava hot and we had to turn it all the way to the 'H' before it became cool enough to use as bath water.
We called them back and they again sent Jimmy. He said that the cartridge was just installed in reverse and that we just need to turn it. Um, what? How does that make sense? The cartridge should just be switched around in the wall. I don't get it.
-2 stars because he was very kind and didn't charge us for part, but I'm annoyed that he was satisfied with an incomplete job.

I had a potential big problem! During yesterday's (Sunday) storm, a strong wind gust blew the roof rain cap off of our heater vent and into my back yard. Rain ran down into our furnace, not a good situation compouded because a series of storms were in the forecast. I called a competitor and they couldn't schedule repair until Friday!! So I called Same Day and to my relief they schedule Sean for a repair today. He contacted me en route. When he arrived he surveyed the work. While he didnt' have a replacement, he understood my urgency of preventing rain from entering my furnace through the unprotected vent. He was on my roof in a flash and I observed the care he took walking on the concrete roof tiles. He carefully reattach the cap and reinforced the vent. I tested the heater and it operated just fine. Sean told me that he backed his work 100% and would fix it at no cost if the problem reoccurred. Thanks for peace of mind!

We have used Peter Levi Plumbing for the last 4 years for everything in our house....drains, showers, water valves, water heater, and so on! They are based out of Vacaville and every technician has been reliable and responsible. They have allowed us to have peace of mind in our home. A special shout out to both Austin who installed a new water heater and to Corey who replaced our shower valve in our main bathroom. Both jobs very difficult. Both arrived in a timely manner and had very clear communication as to what the process would be. We will continue to use them in our new home!!!

I have 3 appointments over the last 3 weeks for a water heater drain and flush. the first one was cancelled by them at the last min. the second one the tech showed up and said I needed a 90 degree elbow so he could hook a hose up to the water heater to drain it. so he didnt have one and went to the local hardware store and he said that they didnt have any and that he would have to order one. so the third appointment for today 10/16 was between 2pm and 4pm. at 1:20 pm I saw my tech in a parking lot about 2 miles from my house so I figured I was next and that he was on his lunch break and he would be coming to my house right after. nope I get a text around 3 pm that my tech is on the way to my house. then at 3:18pm I get a call saying the my tech is coming from Vallejo and will be at my house in about 30 mins. after waiting 30 mins I called and cancelled my appointment. I will be going somewhere else from now on

Totally perfect experience. Our tree had decided to not let anything else pass by in the sewer. Called Peter Levi. Instantly spoke to a person who said the technician would give a call within the hour to schedule. Roger called in 20 minutes. He was on his way. Arrived. First impression great. Professional looking clean truck and technician. Roger was wearing his mask, as was I. He instantly surveyed the situation and rolled his equipment up to our clean out and went to work, explaining the process to me. Cleaned out root ball and showed me the screen as he scoped the line down to the city connection. Roger offered me options for the future. Today's price had been set in initial phone contact and was based on their online $77 special. That included the clean out and scoping. The first company I had called quoted me $231. I totally recommend Roger and Peter Levi based on my experience.

We have them for tune up the AC unit they change the capacitor for compressor and put a booster ,cost 1545.00$ more then changing hole unit we complained after few days emails and phones calls we get little bit more the 800.00$ i will never get the service from them its shocking what they did thief taking advantage of people in pandemic time ,beware ask before if you call them i am in Vacaville, shame for them i nope the carma pays one day.

Got a flyer in the mail for an ac check and tune up. Easy to setup the appointment and they let me know what time Ryan, our technician, would arrive on the day of the appointment. Ryan was very courteous, helpful and professional. I wanted to learn and he talked through everything he was doing and answered any questions I had. He provided advice on what was wrong and the effects those issues had on our system. He was not pushy, but offered sincere advice and options. I'm always a little weary using a flyer that offers inexpensive tune ups and inspections but this was a positive and worthwhile experience. I will give them a call in the future. Thanks Ryan and the rest of the team.
Update:
Jimmy from came out today to check the water heater and a kitchen sink leak. He did a fantastic job explaining things as he went much like Ryan. And very courteous and professional as well. Fixed the sink in less than 5 mins! Tried to flush the water heater but had no luck because of too much sediment. Did not charge for the water heater service because he couldn't complete the job! Again, very happy with the service considering the flush couldn't get done. I will give jimmy a call if I have a plumbing issues again. Thanks!

Roger is a lifesaver, if I could give him 10 stars I would! He came to our house the day after we called and provided excellent service, going above and beyond!! Not only did he help with our need, he educated us and was informative about the job. Can't thank you enough for your help and professionalism, we'll definitely be calling next time we have an issue at home!

The pipes under my 92 year old mother in laws mobile home were leaking. Roger from Same Day Plumbing came out and said the cost for replacing the pipes and sub flooring would be $15,000, yes $15,000. My mother in law said Roger was such a nice man and that he would take care of her and if needed bring her water. He might be nice, but $15,000? We called around and got 3 other estimates for pipe replacement and subflooring. None went over $5,000.

Same Day was not only charging triple the costs but taking advantage of a 92 year old widow. Shame on you.

Do not and I mean do not hire this company and if you to have an elderly and vulnerable parent, stay far away from them. The company should be investigated for their unethical practices
