This review is for Nick who was my technician. The summary take-away is that:
1. He has a very candid, ""no-BS,"" straight-to-the-point"" attitude (which I much prefer)
2. He seems to be a man of integrity and not at all one trying to squeeze the money out of unsuspecting customers and ripping them off

It is because of Nick I will be coming back to Sal's Plumbing for future jobs.

For those who further detail -- my house had been experiencing regular back-ups over the years. There were 3 non-trivial things identified that could be addressed (2 sections of rusted-out cast-iron + 1 misaligned underground connection from new piping to clay piping), and Nick was straight-forward with his opinion and rationale that the 3rd wasn't needed to address the back-ups I've been experiencing ""unless I really wanted to pay him more."" His estimate for work was competitive ($1k cheaper than a competing quote I got from another plumber who I felt was charging way too much) for the same amount of work.

The final thing that solidified my confidence in him is after the job was done and he was already out of there, I later received a call from him where he let me know that he messed up and asked me to write a check for too much (since I had already paid a 10% down-payment the week prior that I had forgotten about). He let me know he'd tell the office to rip the original check and send someone over to pick-up a new check whenever was most convenient. This demonstration of owning up to your mistakes earned major points for me and will have me returning.

Found Sal's on Yelp and in a FB group. Called and they had same day availability to give a free estimate. We needed to have a laundry hook-up valve replaced. The technician was early to their service window by 2 minutes. He was friendly and able to quote me quickly for the work. He did it in about an hour. What a relief. The pricing was reasonable. I plan on using Sal's for any future needs. Thank you!

I had a backed up kitchen sink and called Sal's. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. David showed up when he was scheduled and quickly gave me a reasonable estimate to modify the drain pipe to add access. He snaked the drain and verified that the clog was gone. I had to clean up after him but that was more me than him. :-)

I'll definitely use them again.

Incredible service! I called Sal's Plumbing for a clogged toilet, and the receptionist was very patient and nice, and said that someone could come out within two hours. Less than an hour later, plumber Wilson Perez was at my door. He was respectable, personable, knowledgeable and showed respect for me and my home.
I highly recommend Sal's Plumbing. Exceptional, affordable and reputable service!

Came out timely on a call to remove a toilet and snake the line. Upon arrival, quote to do this simple job was almost $700. When we said no thanks due to the outrageous price, they came down in price by half.

The astronomical quote for a simple job eroded any trust, and we won't be calling again.

Sal's was on time - early in fact. They came to look at a leak from a roof drain and helped diagnose the issue with some creative testing. Turns out it was not plumbing related. But, if it was, I'd likely go with them for the fix.
