I used Sal's a couple of times in the past. Once for my sink, which broke about a year later as the pipes started leaking again underneath my kitchen sink. Another plumber fixed it and said it had been installed incorrectly which is why the leak sprung. Then another valve for hot/cold water I had installed in my upstairs bathroom broke (I don't remember the exact date of the installation but I think it was in fall of 2021). Both resulted in leaks. I don't think they're a terrible company, the people who came seemed pleasant and were willing to answer my questions, but I've now had multiple things break that they had ""fixed"". They also left a bit of a mess. I've had better luck with other plumbers. 3 out 5 stars.

I've called around the South Bay and tried 3 or 4 different plumbing companies but Sal's has stood out as the best, especially the supervisor Nick. They are reliable, give a fair price and do good work.

Having problems with plumbing is awful but it always make me feel better when Nick from Sal's comes over to find the problem and fix it quickly.

Gaspar worked really hard to dig out our frozen shower cartridge that was leaking. He had to be very clever and patient to do it. He saved me a lot of money by realizing that I have the knowledge and skill to put in the new cartridge (which I did). Highly recommend their service.

I've been a customer for over 10 years. I was referred to them by a friend, who had a good experience. I like the fact that they guarantee their work and if something goes wrong, they will make it right. Recently, I had a broken water pipe outside and it was like a geyser. Bryan capped it right away. The following day he brought the appropriate parts and installed a shutoff valve (it didn't have one at that location). He's a friendly guy and will take care of you.

They do quality work and always gives a quote before they begin the work. If additional parts are required they will explain and ask permission before proceeding.
