A hissing noise coming from the shower faucet for quite sometime was bothering me. This noise came, when the hot water is tuned to medium heat. I wanted to take care of it and I called (310) 692-4183 late yesterday (Saturday) and spoke to owner, I guess. He immediately diagnosed the problem as faucet problem, when I had a doubt if it could be unstrapped pipes. His advise was very helpful. I changed the faucet and the hissing noise stopped.

I called in Sunday, thanked them and offered them to pay for advise. His wife declined. I thought, the best way to thank him was to write to review.

BTW, few months ago, there was a clog in my kitchen sink, It was Sal's that helped me then. Hence I turned to him. His job then was to the point, quick and great. I didnot write a review then. Thought, I should thank him through this review

Our backyard hose has had a bad leak for weeks, and my dad was too busy to fix it, so I called Sal's Plumbing. Gino was very professional and friendly. He was quickly able fix the problem by replacing the bib and valve. Now we don't have a purple plastic bucket collecting the drips.

It seemed like a pretty simple fix, but suddenly there was a major leak coming from the other side of the yard, underneath a container filled with my dad's old aquarium things. Water was just pooling up, and when we moved the container we discovered that there was a completely open pipe. Water was coming out because the backyard water line was turned on. Now I know why my dad had it turned off, and covered by the container... I would have never known this about our house had it not been for this repair.

I definitely was not expecting all of this excitement this fine Sunday afternoon. I would highly recommend Sal's and am glad to have found a great plumbing service!

I used Sal's plumbing to repair a gas leak. They called back within an hour and were able to give me a quote later that day. They showed up on time and were able to fix the leak for a fair price. That's all you can ask for. I would use them again.

I definitely would not use these guys.

When my kitchen sink backed up and the DIY didn't work they came out and snaked it. When that didn't work they said they would jet clean the line for $625 except that they couldn't jet clean from the inside since it was only a 1 1/2 inch line and so they needed to install a 2 inch clean-out to get access from the outside for another $350. They also said that jet cleaning from the inside was too risky/messy.

When things sounded fishy I called Aqualina. When I questioned them about whether they could jet clean from the inside using only a one and a half inch line they acted like I had just been duped. They did it from the inside accessing only the one and a half inch line for literally one third of the price, $375. Extremely professional with no water spillage or mess. When I watched them do the work I realized the issue of water spillage/mess was not even close to being an issue.

Called Sal's about my entire bathroom backing up from a main sewer line clog. They came out about 2 hours after I called and did everything needed to get me back up and running. Very friendly and did everything they needed to.

Finally an honest and friendly plumbing company. I had to replace my main line and they were fast and professional. The cost was very reasonable compared to others and Nick was very accommodating. Sal's is outstanding. I called at 8:15 on Tuesday with a bath that wouldn't drain and toilet that would not flush. Within one hour, Arturo was there with his partner and they fixed the issue within 45 minutes! They also showed with an advanced camera where the problem was coming from -- roots had grown through the clay connection to the cast iron pipes. Arturo was diligent, courteous and honest. Basically the best plumber you could wish for when in a serious jam. I would recommend Arturo and his team to anyone with a plumbing problem. Couldn't be more thankful!
