Another great experience with Saffer plumbing

Last week I needed to have a new main gate put in as part of another repair because the old one was corroded and unusable-- ever since then I have had a hum coming from the pipes. David Robinson came to check it out and with the help us his field coordinator, Scott, they were able to diagnose the water pressure problem and fix it without opening up the walls! They took their time to diagnose and find a good solution. And it was all free because it was included as part of their guarantee on their work they did last week. Highly recommend!

Saffer Plumbing came when scheduled, Explained that the tub drain was designed to be horizontal under the tub drain. Most importantly, they replaced the diverter on the shower/tub in the other bathroom. Great job!

Unfortunately, a bit pricey.

My 80 year old sister who is a widow had her sump pumps alarms go off. She was so upset not knowing what was wrong. I called Saffer and told them her issue. I was instructed to have her call because she was the home owner so they could send someone out. She had pushed the button on the system to stop the alarm and the technician explained to her that was all that was needed because apparently her power had gone out briefly during the night setting off the alarm. There was no charge and she was so happy with her whole experience. She is not on social media so I am passing this review. Thank You So Much!

What a great company!! Safer Plumbing, Heating & Electrical has been out to my home four times for different issues, since we moved to Baltimore. Each time, on time, professional, really competent, personable, and like a good scout, they leave their work area cleaner than when they came. Outstanding. Chris explained everything so that I understood what happened with the toilet in the master bedroom. It made perfect sense. He priced out repair vs. replace and, with no pressure from Chris whatsoever, I decided on replace. Chris and Brook, who brought the new toilet, were both wonderful. I will definitely use them again. The whole job took about 2.5 hours and the total cost was $1,088 for the toilet replacement and a few other incidentals that I wasn't charge for. I was delighted. I esp. appreciated the time Chris spent explaining things to me.

Saffer has done both plumbing and electrical work for me. New electric lines added to the laundry and refrigerator on separate breakers. A water softener and filtration system were added and water heater was replaced. Each service was done well with amazing detail, and they cleaned up afterward. They were professional and took time to explain the work that was done and answer any questions. I will definitely use them again.

Our 34-year-old boiler started short cycling, and another company and a private contractor said we needed to replace it. It was too expensive to fix, they told us. Then the guys from Saffer came over, quickly figured out the problem, and the replacement part we needed was only $100. Saffer's guys said we had another good few years with this boiler. It was such a relief. They're trustworthy and reasonably priced. I can't recommend them enough.

I Called Saffer Plumbing to replace a 10 inch copper pipe. It was fully exposed in the wall. They sent a plumber out to give a free estimate . They would not give me a rough estimate over the phone ?? I figured that most companies would be close in their hourly rate so I agreed to the free estimate and stopped reaching out to other companies. The plumber gave me a cost of $433 for the job. He said that the hourly rate is $350 and the rest was for the copper pipe. I excepted the charge because I didn't want to wait another 2/3 days for another company to send a plumber out at that point! This was not an emergency call !! Their marketing strategy is great !! Their goal is to get a plumber out to you with the free estimate and you think they will be comparably priced and you have him come out and stop reaching out to other companies and that is when they get you !! The plumber was nice but the PRICE was embarrassingly HIGH !!! If you are looking to waste $$$$ call them!! I made a big mistake but you shouldn't !! Always get a second estimate and you will see Saffer Plumbing is Highway Robbery !!!!!

I am a repeat customer who has had the best possible experience with Saffer. Prompt, considerate, personable technicians with tons of experience and specific knowledge of townhomes in the Rodgers Forge community. I feel like they each have gone above and beyond in all their work. Really top notch.
Oh and I have to add that whoever picks the logos, truck paint jobs, etc. is a wizard.
And they support lots of community causes and have earned a place of trust in any neighborhood.
