Wonderful service and very reasonable prices. Before using Sac City plumbing, I was convinced that my one-of-a-kind older house had quirky plumbing and was a money pit. Mike has worked on 2 separate jobs (a broken drain pipe and tapping into a line for an additional outside hot water faucet) He had competent diagnoses and recommendations, and on-target work. I was impressed that I received a call that they were running a bit late for one appointment, and the other one they were right on time. Additionally, Mike is a charming guy, quite erudite, a renaissance man -- no ""Joe the plumber!""

I had a tree root problem with a cleanout drain in the sewer line that Sac City Plumbing put in last year. I called them and Mike of Sac City Plumbing said he stands behind his work and would replace the cleanout at no charge. Also, while he was there he fixed another problem I had with the sewer line in another area, also at no charge. He really does stand behind his work. We need more contractors like that.

Immature. Showed up 2 hours after the appointed time and came off with an attitude when questioned...And they made ME call them beforehand to make sure I'd be there!

Try someone else like Armstrong plumbing.

Sac City Plumbing came through for me in a time of need. I was having a backed up kitchen sink situation. It was 8:30pm at night. I called Sac City Plumbing after looking through Yelp. Mike did not hesitate to come to my aid. He quoted me a price over the phone and came out to my place within 30 minutes. He immediately knew what the problem was and proceeded with the repairs. Afterwards,explained to me what he did and also suggested ways to avoid this problem from happening in the future. Work was efficient and tidy. When the bill came, it was less than what he quoted me over the phone! He reduced the cost of the visit because it was a simpler repair than what was expected. Unheard of! Needless to say, I will definitely use Mike's services in the future. Thanks Mike.

I called to make an appointment today and at first the guy was very pleasant. After explaining what I needed, and thinking I made an appointment, he proceeds to tell me that I have to email or text him and call him one hour before the appointment to make sure he shows up.
Sorry, but that is NOT good customer service. If I have to email you then why do you provide a number? And it's my responsibility to make sure you arrive on time? Needless to say I went with a different company. To bad his nonchalant attitude cost him a job.

Never in my life have I been so frustrated with a business! Michael from sac city plumber did not show up to multiple set up appointments and when he finally showed up the fix that he made to my water heater only lasted a month. After I contacted him about the water heater not working again he said ""opps, good thing I gave you a discount"" he said nothing else and when I inquired about a replacement he blew me off for weeks. When I got in contact with him he said he would go the next day and that was two weeks ago and he never showed up to service the water heater.

He told me there was no warranty for his work due to the state of my water heater but I wish he would have suggested the replacement. I specifically asked if the fix would be worth the time and money and he assured me it would.

His excuse was that he wasn't good at keeping up with paperwork and he didn't have an office manager.

Don't waste your time working with him, he is very unprofessional and the work will not get done!

Yikes, my sewer was backing up. I called a few ""big name"" places and they wouldn't be able to come for about 5-6 hours. I also checked their reviews on yelp, and wasn't impressed. But then I read the reviews for Sac City Plumbing and thought I'd check it out. Mike was in the area and at my house within 15 minutes. He fixed the problem within the next 15 minutes.
I highly recommend Sac City Plumbing.

I have to say that they responded fast to my email last night stating that they will be at my house around 2pm.

Well they didn't arrive until 545pm, they did look at my issue, made a quick recommendation but talked more about their personal lives then what could be done.

Now I have to call another plumber to see if they recommend the same thing with my issue

We've had Michael out three times now. He saved us from two disasters. We have found he is one of the few plumbers who can do a long clean out with a rooter over a hundred feet long. No matter your need he will be there when he tells you. This man will work into the late night to get your job done.

Michael is very fair, he will work with you on the costs, and ideas to improve your situation. He is very honest, hard working and just a good person. We highly recommend his service.

If I could give Mike more than 5 stars, I would. I had 3 different plumbers work on my tub/shower and none of them were able to find fixtures to replace the old ones. I called Mike for a clogged toilet and he fixed that, and then he was able to replace the fixtures. He went above and beyond and was able to fix something that no one before him had been able to do. He is an awesome plumber and an all around great guy. I couldn't be more impressed or appreciative.
