Came out on short notice on July 3 and didn't try to up-charge because it was a holiday weekend. Quick and easy fix. Never have to worry about inflated estimates or quotes for work that's not necessary.

These guys were a delight to work with! On Memorial Day I shoved a bunch of broccoli down my disposal like a genius, and I called several plumbers, none of whom could come to my aid until Wednesday. Then I called Sac City Plumbers, spoke with Mike, and he said he could send someone around 8:00pm (on a holiday!). Chris showed up early and he was incredibly nice. We have a very steep staircase down which he had to take several buckets of water (I wish I'd though of that so I could've helped before!) as well as some heavy machinery used to clear the drain. Now I can use my sink again, thanks to these awesome folks, and they didn't overcharge at all, as has been my experience with many of the larger plumbing companies. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again (and with a house built in 1905, I'm sure I'll have to). Thumbs up!

Mike actually cares about his customers. He also offered great pricing compared to the others I got quotes from. My only gripe is that his arrival was put off due to another job taking a longer, but I wasn't given notice of this.

Overall though he does a great job and offers great pricing. He's a genuinely good guy.

I had some serious sewer clogging issues first thing Sunday morning while I was hosting my brother and his family of 4 in town for the Christmas Holiday. I had crap coming up everywhere. I called several well known name ""rooters"" all with extremely High estimates to fix the problem. Mike from Sac City Plumbing suggested to different options. One price option was to fix the issues and the other to correct and prevent the problem occurring again. Mike showed up quickly on time ready to make my issues go away.
Subsequently, Mike corrected my sewer issues as fast as he could, with no surprise added cost. He made it so if this problem should a rise again, there would be an easy and cost efficient way to fix. Mike was thorough and cleaned up the work area after he was all done.

Problem fixed the same day!!!! I will use him again ( If needed) for future plumbing fixes.

Well, it's past 4:30, so I have now been officially waiting for over three hours for Mike to show up for our 1:30 appointment. I called him at 3:00 and he said he was ""finishing up"" his last job, which he presumably expected to be done by 1:00ish. And, yet, no call to advise of the delay. He called me back at 3:30 to let me know he was on his way. Over an hour later and still waiting. If he shows up in the next 5 minutes, and does a good job, maybe I'll give him a better review.
UPDATE: He finally showed up around 5:00. He claimed he got lost and was waiting a couple of blocks down the street. I guess he forgot the fact that we had an actual conversation about how he had done a job literally two doors down from mine. And, when he did finally show up, he again proceeded to point out homes with which he was familiar right around my house. He did call at 4:44 to let me know he was ""lost."" I have no idea why it took him 3 1/2 hours to show up, but he even had the audacity to give me a sticker with his number on it ""for the next time you need a plumber."" Yeah, I don't think so. I upgraded to 2 Stars because he actually followed through with his promise to send me a receipt.

Because of Mike and his not wanting his customers to spend more money than they have to (Wow! What a unique concept!), I was able to keep my existing solar water heater, which is on my roof, even tho I had a new roof put on. Every other plumber I spoke with told me it couldn't be saved, which meant alot of money out of my pocket to get a traditional water heater installed in my garage. Mike suggested we ""don't fix what ain't broke"" and was able to unhook everything for the roofers in the morning and came back that same day and hooked everything back up, and Praise Baby Jesus, I had hot water again! Mike knows his stuff and I highly recommend him, you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend Sac City Plumbing and will use them again in the future. We needed our clean out snaked for tree roots, and Mike was able to arrive and finish the job within an hour of my call. I was happy with the price, especially compared to MacDonald plumbing for the same type of job. Mike was very knowledgeable and did great work. They were also able to email the invoice, which I prefer.

Mike was super-fast in the responsiveness category, which is, let's face it... the most important thing when you need a plumber. Second to that is the quality of work and his willingness to stand behind it. Also, grade A.

We had a plumbing issue where the stuff from the kitchen was coming up through the shower. Not good to look at, and potentially pretty bad if we didn't catch in time and turn off the water. We called Mike, and within a couple of hours he was at our place and had the whole thing all cleared up. He was friendly, funny and very, very honest.

I'll use him again, though I hope to not need to anytime soon. :)
