I would not recommend this company. Very non-responsive and way overpriced! Highest of all bids we received. Would not return phone calls or emails. Save yourself the frustration and use someone else.

This is the 2nd time I've used S & J due to an upstairs neighbor's pipe bursting and causing water damage to my condo. Apologies if I'm forgetting anybody, but Gracie, Sean, Morgan, Eric, Keith & Bailey were all professional, friendly, and went out of their way to get the job done. They were quick to answer questions and kept me in the loop the entire time...which was extensive because I had to live in a hotel for 8 weeks. Heaven forbid, but if there's water damage in the future I would not hesitate to use them. They were amazing the first time and this time did not disappoint either. I highly recommend this company!

I had a water pipe leak that caused a big problem. All our new carpet was soaking wet and water had started to flow into the hallway lifting our floor tiles. I called S&J Builders, they arrived within an hour and detected the source of the leak. They also pulled up the carpet and pad and came prepared with fans and dehumidifiers. Within the next 2 hours the plumbing was repaired and we were on the road to recovery. To top it all off, S&J worked with my home owners insurance and submitted estimates and all necessary paperwork for reimbursement. I highly recommend S&J. I will not use anyone else.

I originally chose S & J Builders because of Yelp. Farmers recommended them but I did a Yelp review on every recommendation from the Farmers Insurance list. S&J is the clear leader on Yelp. They did outstanding work, very professional, from the office staff like Heather. Eric & Thomas Wilson to each and every worker that labored in my home. I always had a follow up call at the end of the day to go over what is accomplished. Every worker was polite and fun to talk with, and sure the sh*t knew what he was doing. I've worked with contractors before and lets face it folks most of us don't come away with a warm fuzzy. S & J Builders sets a new bar! All other contractors need to take a lesson from this team. What I also liked was the webportal that allowed me to track the work on my home and access to individuals via interoffice email. This company is state of art! If I was asked to vote on an award to the best contractor my vote is S & J Builders.

The commitment, professionalism, kindness that all of the staff that came to our home and in the office was the best! Special thanks to Eric, Keith, John, Frank, and Heather! The whole S&J team is exceptional. Not only is the final product great, their communication and scheduling are the best. They even sent a truck over just to pick up some old plywood shelving that was garbage that wasn't their responsibility. I have no suggestions on how to improve. Impressive!

I highly recommend S&J! They are exceptional at restoring your home after a leak. We had a slab leak and needed to replace the drywall behind our kitchen cabinets and not only did they expertly repair the damaged wall, but they restored our cabinets to like new condition and FAST. Super professional and great communication. Friendly and competent subs with absolutely NO problem accommodating our any and all of our needs to restore what was once a big mess.

This company was a dream to work with. They just finished a permitted deck for us which itself is a miracle in this city. They got us an engineer who got the permits. The company is personable and the team has a dynamite work ethic. The labor was affordable and got things done on time. The few change orders that came along were handled well. We now have a beautiful redwood deck that's changed our backyard! I highly recommend them for deck and restoration jobs.
