Amazing team! The receptionist was so friendly, they did impeccable job on my floor that flooded from a shower drain leak, and it was such an inexpensive price for how great of a job they did! Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

The front office help provided excellent contact with us, keeping us informed of the progress of our project through emails and phone calls. Natashia was especially helpful and supportive, as well as friendly.

The on-sight workers, including carpenters and painter, were very skilled and professional, making required facia board repairs and replacements as well as full prep work (power washing, sanding, et. as needed). and the exterior painting itself was meticulously done. Carlos was an Artist with the air brush!

Overall a fabulous exterior house paint job!

It all started off good with S&J, we had a water intrusion that we and other contractors were stumped on. Sean showed up and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and had us feeling optimistic about a resolution.

It all went downhill from there, Sean was incredibly difficult to get ahold of for follow-ups and scheduling. I had to call the main number multiple times and often wait days to get a call back.

However, we moved forward with a formal water test because of Sean's knowledge and direction on the process. The water test went as planned, they showed up and did a good job, helped us identify the intrusion, but we were promised a formal write-up and plan to fix.

And that just never happened. I called multiple times, talking with Natasha, Kristen and Eric. Expressing the urgency of resolution (we had no AC or Washer Dryer until we fixed the intrusion and this was in the dead of summer).

In fact, I never heard back from them until they followed up on payment (which was over the quote), and then of course they were very prompt to respond. I expressed my discontent with the service and my woes, and I was met with a matter of fact on this was the quote, please pay us.

Oh, and some lame response about they sent the formal test results and repair plan previously (which they didn't). In fact, this was the same response I got over and over when trying to call Sean. ""Oh, Sean emailed you or called you back."" No he didn't....

So yea, knowledgeable technicians with horrible etiquette and terrible project management and customer service. How could I have 3 people managing our project and have it run this poorly.

Please be warry of them, especially if you have an urgent issue. Definitely do not recommend.

Spoke with someone named Gracie got a very unprofessional and rude email back from her will not be referring this company to anyone due to her unprofessionalism. Also management did nothing in regards to situation.

I had repairs done in my garage ceiling and bathroom due to an upstairs toilet leak. The entire crew was so polite and professional. The job was completed on time and everything looks so beautiful! I could not be happier and very highly recommend this company!

After a water leak at a vacation property, we decided to have S&J do the work and also change the flooring from carpeting to vinyl. We were happy with the initial consult with S&J but were let down with the execution. After replacing the flooring, there was a huge gap between the vinyl and baseboards that the carpet used to fill. They wanted extra money to make adjustments and fill that gap. It looked awful and is something that any contractor should have anticipated. Even worse, we allowed the employees to use the bathrooms in the house (to save money on a Port-a-Potty), and they filled the toilets without flushing (seen on a walk-through). Once they finished the job, we were having plumbing issues. When we addressed this with the management, they said ""prove it with a note from a plumber."" The plumber came out and found the foam from a paint roller that had been flushed by the employees! Their response: sorry about that.

A huge mirror fell off the wall terrifying out tenants and filling the bedroom with pieces of glass. Sean, the founder of S&J, was out there in no time. The larger pieces were removed by hand. Then they used a vacuum with HEPA filters to clean what was left. S&J took away the large rug and any other materials that may have had any glass. Our tenants were so impressed. Furthermore, we were given referrals for other reliable professionals who we would need to contact to completely restore this room. Thorough, experienced, professional and so very supportive during such unforeseen circumstances. S&J are THE BEST!

Please choose someone else for your project. We chose S & J based on a friend's recommendation.
1. They told us they'd deliver a pod to our driveway for our belongings and had a company that would come and do the pack out. Two men showed up on the day after Christmas for the pack out, but one was the foreman and another one a guy who works there. The Foreman said they were it due to vacations and sick calls. As my husband was at work and I was paying attention to packing two rooms and furniture, I didn't go outside to see that they basically just threw all of our furniture into this pod and DIDN'T WRAP any of it. The next morning my husband called to demand to talk to the owner but was passed off to the next guy down (Eric). We should have just stopped here but had been waiting since the water damage happened in August, so we gave them another chance. He had two guys come and unload everything and wrap it (in the rain) and then took pictures of the wrapped belongings. Why bother at that point? We told Eric about damage to our bedroom furniture as it's all dark cherry wood, yet even at the end of the project there was no apology and no money taken off of the 6,000 plus they charged for the pack out.
2. They used a company to come in and paint the two bedrooms and master bath. As they had the rooms taped off, we didn't go in there. I noticed the end of the day after they painted that the bedroom window (facing the front of the house and street) was open. Nice way to protect our family from someone breaking in to the house in the day or night.
3. Another breach of our security-opened front door to get the mail and noticed the lock box code was still visible on the lock as they locked the door and put the key in the box, yet didn't scramble the security code.
4. The contractor who did the tile and grout in the shower and bathroom had to be called back as he missed putting any grout into several areas of the floor tile. It still doesn't look consistent. Two weeks after they finished the job in April, a hole in the grout appeared on the floor of the shower as well.
5. I placed a sign on the door on day one to NOT leave the door open as I have 3 indoor only cats and a puppy, yet several times my Ring camera would go off and I'd look to see the front door WIDE OPEN as they brought supplies in and out, and would have to tell tell them thru the speaker to SHUT the door!
6. We chose paint and the office coordinator asked if we wanted flat or semi-gloss. I told her semi gloss as this is what we had and the other rooms have. We noticed a few days after they painted (they had a company come in to do it) that the paint was all flat. Eric tried to tell us most people use flat, but said they'd repaint if we wanted. We said yes repaint. They then had the Foreman come in over several days to repaint. He didn't cover the furniture (which was all moved back in by this point). He didn't use a sprayer like they had used, but instead a roller, which left several areas that weren't painted over. He also got paint on the new floors, and scratched the new floors with his ladder and who knows what else. Eric did come out and look at this and had the flooring contractors come back to redo the floor in this area.
7. One of their workers who came on the first day to do the pack out and for several more weeks for other parts of the project was constantly coughing, sniffling and never wore a mask (which should have been standard given the Flu and Covid were prevalent.

This whole job cost just over $31,000
If you are considering them for your project, we'd recommend you look elsewhere.

S&J used to be great company and they did our remodeling about 10 yrs ago.. recently we need to redo the flooring (S&J did our wood flooring 10 yrs ago). Called them up. The rude arrogant lady picked up the call, and she let us make a phone call consultation. 2 weeks later, we called back and know what we want and want to convert the appointment to get-quote appointment. Another clue-less lady asked us to call back. 3 hours later, we called back, and the rude arrogant lady told us our phone appointment is not in their system and by law, they will only take project with two and more jobs. Just doing flooring will meet the law. WTH is that. No more S&J. Will broadcast to all my friends and colleagues not to go there.

Met with this company at our home in December to discuss a whole home remodel. I followed up in January after a month asking about the estimate we were to receive and got an excuse that they are having office delays? Here it is February now two months later and still no contact, excuse or apology. Just a still nothing. They were recommended by a neighbor, so we had high hopes. Another company that makes promises and doesn't deliver. Contractors these days are just full of schitt.
