I had the same experience as a few other reviewers it seems. I called to make an appointment for an estimate, and the woman said that they would call me back to schedule. That was a week ago. Called again today to follow up and she said ""well it's on his schedule to call you. If you can't wait then you should go somewhere else."" It was not only extremely rude, but I think waiting a week to just SCHEDULE an estimate is completely unacceptable. Thank you- I will go somewhere else and hope others do too.

I agree with the above poster. They don't seem to want the business. I have called 3 or 4 times since Friday and when they finally got back to me with a time it one that didn't work for me - and instead of trying to figure something out while on the phone - all I got was ""that's they appointment time, someone will call you back"". I called another plumber and they already came today.

If you want to deal with a company that you have to constantly call to make an appointment and to get a plumber, then this is the company for you. Seems like they didn't want my business/didn't want to work since they didn't return phone calls. Waste of time.

Really amazing plumber! I hired them to install a stackable washer & dryer (gas) into a closet to replace my old one that died. This is a job that The Home Depot's installers decided they didn't want to do after looking at it. But Steve and his guy both did a great job. Steve came by to check it out first and make sure the new machines would fit. He even came over a second time to unhook my old washer & dryer for me the day before installing the new ones.

These are the people to hire if you need a plumbing job done, and done right. For installation, they might be a little bit more than The Home Depot or whomever arrives from the big box stores, but they are totally worth every penny. And frankly, the price is very reasonable for the fantastic work done.

I had a sewer pipe that need to be fixed. Called S&B last Thursday morning and the girl at the office said Steve is on a job and will call you by the afternoon. I never heard back. I called Friday morning and got their voicemail and left a message. No call back again. It is now Tuesday and I gave up and called another plumber. If they couldn't do the job or didn't want the job a call back would of been professional.

Excellent service. Steve really knows his stuff and acts with integrity and honesty. I know people who have been turning to him for over 10 years. He's a good guy and does a thorough job. Best plumber I've encountered.

For 6 months I called the office asking for Steve to provide a quote for a substantial job and not once did I receive a response back.

I called to ask how to get my hot water heater turned on since my power has been out from the hurricane and Steve stayed with me on the phone and walked me through all the steps! It was an excellent help and I would defiantly recommend S&B plumbing!! Ask for steve very accommodating even over the phone!

S&B have done a fantastic job taking care of the plumbing in my house in Weehawken for years now. From small stuff (fixing sinks) to big stuff (replacing major sections of piping in a old basement). Steve is knowledgeable, reliable and a nice guy to boot. I've got nothing by compliments for S&B. Yes, they are expensive, but you get quality work done on time.

Initially I received a good response, as I expected from the 1 review on here, as well as the lack of any bad reviews on other sights. Sam did a walk through for a quote on Friday of last week (It's now wednesday). I have yet to receive any word from him/them, and get no information from their secretary either. This is a small job and should have been very quick and easy to put together a quote. Not pleased whatsoever.
