Rush Heating & Air Conditioning is always responsive and extremely customer oriented. Highly recommend. Tim, the service representative is friendly, always on time and no one knows the technical aspects of the system like he does.

These guys are at least $100 more than the competitors. They'll also do additional services without discussing and then demand payment. If you want to break your wallet, then hire them.

Rush electric is the worst, the company and the employees are very unprofessional and incompetent. I was directed to rush companies by my home warranty to repair my AC, it's been a month I was told by there supervisor today to find a different company.

I came across Rush Plumbing through my Home Warranty, To resolve a poor job that left was done by a third party which left my home with out water for 4 days.
When a contacted Rush over the phone I was greeted by a Laurie a very friendly and helpful rep, she asked me a few question then dispatched a Emergency technician named Willie who has over 35 years experience!I was relieved but still cautious because of by past experience with First American warranty Contractors , Rush proved me wrong not sure about the negative reviews I read from last year But
Willie was a straight shooter and his main focus was to Detect the problem then Resolve it. I didn't say much beside point to the problem and He knew immediately how to mitigate the shoddy work that was left for him to repair.
In addition Rush was punctually and called me before arriving. I'd go any day with these guys for your plumbing needs. He also repaired and installed to toilets.
Ask for Willie and Jason .
Kudos to your Crew.

0 stars. I was referred to Rush Companies through my home warranty company. They knowingly installed a defective system and refused to even discuss accepting any responsibility. They would not return calls and exhibited a horrible attitude. They installed a condenser that leaked out all of the Freon within a month after installation. Another company came and recharged the system a month later but failed to find or detect the leak in a ""TSP"" valve which was found to be defective by a 3rd company, 8 months later. I was given a total run-a-round by Rush companies. They indicated that the unit was sold to my home warranty company and that they could not help me. I contacted the Home warranty company (Old Republic Home Protection) and was told that Rush company had installed the system and it was up to me to pursue having the company contact the manufacturer (Carrier). After contacting carrier, they indicated that they would only deal with a ""certified technician"". Frustrated and thoroughly disgusted, I again contacted the home warranty company. The home warranty company (Old Republic Home Protection) was of little help as they took no responsibility for this obviously terrible company.
They issued a work order and informed me that I was going to have to pay a ""Trade call fee"" of $100,00 to get Rush and company to come out and determine whether the AC system was defective or not. When the Rush company tech arrived, he determined that the system was defective and was defective at the time of installation and suggested that, both the installation and part should be covered under warranty and I should be ""covered for labor and the defective part"". A rude guy who only gives his name as ""LJ"" answers the phone and flat out lies. After an argument that was spread out over numerous calls over a 3-4 day period ending in there attempting to squeeze me for a $320 dollar fee for the installation of my warrantied part that they had allegedly obtained from the manufacturer, I asked for the part so that another more reputable company could install it. The other company had agreed to install it
for $185.00. LJ refused to surrender the part. Thoroughly disgusted. They should be jailed. I feel like they are in cahoots with the home warranty company. Why else would Old Republic Home Protection continue to use a company that is as bad as this company is. I'm through doing business with the home warranty company and Rush company as well. I hope that no one ever has to go through this. It is truly horrible.

I can not begin to state how unprofessional and incompetent this companies' employees are. I was directed to rush companies by my home warranty for a leak I had in my basement. They agreed to come in to my home two days after I contacted them. Typically the company is to contact you with such scheduling. I should have known this company was not going to be a good one when I did not receive the initial call. Once the appointment was made. I took off from work out of my busy schedule and waited at home. They were to come between the hours of 2p-4p, there was no sign of a technician by 2:30p. I decided to give them a call, where Laurie picked up and notified me that they were unable to come in. She had zero resolution and no ""rush"" in her tone for the mistake on their end to cancel a confirmed appointment the day of. Pretty much a no call no show. She said ""so we can't have technicians out sick"", in response to my need to have someone sent today as it is my only day off the week. She did not think there was anything they could do. Pretty much dismissed my needs and my continued leak. I will never use rush companies that has no type of plan to rush anything. No consideration of someone's time. There are so many other great plumbing and electric companies in the nova area. I will not use rush companies ever. I will also tell all my colleagues and friends in the nova area. I work for a very large company. That should be aware of this.

I should put 0 star to that company. They are cheating company. They install new AC unit for me, but installed wrongly and not working properly.

Please please please, I am not recommending that company. Very bad with dealings.

Stay away. Had several horrible experiences with them. They showed up to diagnose my AC. Later that day, I found that they left the back plate off of my AC unit which is a huge problem since i live next to a playground. I should have gone to another company at that point but needed my unit fixed. That was a huge mistake as they replaced my coil but forgot to replace the coolant. They came back but couldn't figure out they needed to put more coolant into the unit. I ended up calling another company who diagnosed the problem and put more coolant in. Rush has horrible customer service and you should definitely find another company.

Update (02/06/18): Our gas furnace failed about a week before we were ready to put our house on the market. My partner and I had moved out of the area so we worked through our realtor to find a company to repair it. After a couple of worst case diagnoses our realtor convinced us to get an opinion from Rush since they were the original installer.

I have to say I was reluctant to go back. Even though my previous experiences with Rush had been positive that last experience (documented below) left a mark and I didn't want to contact them. Regardless, I went back.

Well, I'm happy I did. The old Rush was back. Whereas, the other two repair services did a cursory review and analysis, identified the problem in general terms and indicated more issues might be found once the repair had started. Rush did a detailed analysis, identified specifically what was wrong with the furnace, gave me options as to how the problem could be fixed, and explained the pros and cons of each.

I feel much better about the service I received from Rush. I was able to make an informed decision and pick the best solution. There were no gotchas later in the process. This is a company I would recommend without hesitation.

I have had a service contract with Rush Companies on my heating and air conditioning units for almost 19 years. Over those years I did a lot of business with them. They installed both the central air conditioning and attic heat pump in my home. Did plumbing work for me on more than one occasion. I used to think they were a great company. However, this past Spring after they performed an annual checkup on my central air conditioning, the unit failed about a week later when the weather turned hot.

Rush sent a service technician out who said a wire wasn't connected properly. The unit worked for about a week and failed when the weather turned hot again. The second time the technician said a wire was making improper contact. The unit failed again about a week later.

The first technician stated explicitly, in writing on the service receipt, the problem was caused by the previous maintenance. When asked both technicians said I owed nothing.

After the second failure I did a little research online. It turns out AC units aren't that complicated so I decided to look myself. The problem was an electrical connector that was loose. Once I tightened the connector the problem went away.

After that I got a bill from Rush for the second service call. I called them and asked to talk to someone. I was told someone would call but no one did. About a month later I got another invoice. I sent them a letter explaining the situation and asked for someone to contact me. No one did. Today I received another invoice from them. This time with a service charge.

I am cancelling my service contract with Rush Companies and will no longer do business with them. I can't recommend them. Their customer service is nonexistent. Charging someone for a problem you likely caused and then didn't fix is unprofessional.

After a horrible experience with another HVAC company our home warranty company referred us to Rush. They were able to diagnose the problems created by the shoddy workmanship of the other company and the two technicians I've had here were both extremely professional. Both provided me with a very clear understanding of the problems and set my expectations reasonably for time-frame for responses and further actions.

The two times that I have called them about the issue they are working on have been high-quality. The person that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Calls were answered quickly and the person I was speaking with was able to access the full details and history of all work done by their technicians.

I've had to modify my initial review and downgrade my rating the reason:

Failure to follow-through with call-backs and communications with the home warranty company.

Even after I spoke with a supervisor who stated he was calling the home warranty company immediately there was no report provided to them TWO WEEKS LATER. I had to call the home warranty company who then had to chase them down to get the report they needed so they could authorize the repairs to be completed. Now, I have to make a second call to the home warranty company to have them track them down for the report a second time because they were unable to provide the report when contacted the first time today.
